With our DVR recorders you can set up each system in the normal way then use either our mobile App or computer programme to view feeds from multiple systems on the same screen at the same time. Not all DVRs will allow this.
I have 2 dome cameras at each entrance of my apartment block. These cameras are set up that I can watch them through my TV as they transmit through the coxial Ariel in the analouge format, so the 2 cameras are tuned into my my TV. Is it possible for this DVR to view both cameras from 1 coxial input?
No, it sounds as though they have a frequency assigned to them and so are designed to only work with a TV using the old analogue aerial input. CCTV cameras working with DVR recorders don't have different frequencies. They each require a separate input.
@@cctv42 thank you for the reply. Would you know the name of a device I could look for that would separate these frequencies from the cameras into 2 separate inputs? I just don't know what to search for
@@cathal1982 I don't I'm afraid. It might be that the actual cameras are normal CCTV cameras fed into a modulator that assigns each camera a frequency. I don't know how you would reverse the process as we don't get involved with modulators / TV distribution systems. These days our DVRs connect to the router / network and can be viewed throughout a property or indeed the world via the local network or the internet.
Hi there. You would need to contact the people who supplied your DVR, they will be able to provide operating instructions. The other alternative is to search online using a search engine such as Google. This is a legacy product sold by us a number of years ago but it wasn't a Bute DVR.
Your second residence would be a separate system and not part of the CCTV system in the main house. Connect the DVR in the second house to your internet router in that property and you can then remote access it from anywhere including the primary house.
How to reset the password to default restore ? I forget the password and i don't know how to reset that. Even to restore everything to default will be fine. Thanks.
It will depend on the specific DVR that you have. If you purchased the DVR from us then give us a call on the phone and we will advise you accordingly.
@@cctv42 Thanks. I take the battery from inside out. Hope will be working. I don't find where it was purchased. It was installed by an Security installer.
On this particular DVR you could fit a BNC connector to the end of the Coax cable and use the "video out" socket. With newer high definition DVRs you need to connect monitors using either a VGA or HDMI connection.
It could be a number of issues but the first thing I would check is that the TV / monitor is able to support the output resolution of the DVR. It may not be a high enough resolution monitor.
Our current DVR units connect to monitors via either VGA or HDMI. Make sure the TV / monitor is high enough resolution to support the output from the DVR.
Can you do a video jow to configure a novus b series on network to see.on ohone because the network dosent support clud or p2p

@@cctv42 Again I appreciate your reply 👍 perhaps I need some sort of tuner/DVR combi.. There has got to be something out there in this day and age..
Unlikely as TV has moved away form analogue inputs via the aerial to digital signals and HDMI HD inputs.@@cathal1982
