i 100% agree, i’m so glad you did this. rather than being in denial, it shows you are open-minded to improving your own system. it shows you are human and therefore far more relatable than other personality TH-camrs. also to note that this video was super helpful! count me subscribed! 💜
Definitely agree. I'm an openminded ESTP and we're really hard to pin down and stereotype even if a lot of the common ESTP traits still permeate across us all.
Thank you for being a sensor advocate. This community needs more people proud of who they are. Intuition is not a fairy/princess/comedic trait, it’s just as fun/boring as the rest. People in MBTI need to look past stereotypes. I’ve been misconceived myself. I’ve looked right past Se users, but realized they’re No can fckin destroy me. Literally.
I agree , if she’s a estp she’s not the typical one she’s sort of a different flavor. The estp I know In real life actually are pretty shallow and it’s very hard for me as intp to have a normal interesting discussion, they do seem to enjoy small talk .but it’s nice to see that there’s always exceptions and unique people.
I'm surprised you're so okay with being put in a type box and then even being relabeled. I considered ESTP as freedom based control freaks, especially when it comes to their own body. I thought Si nemesis makes you worry about your individuality (just like ESFPs, who rarely enjoy MBTI) but I guess your Ti managed to convince you otherwise
I love sensors. I never understood why they often have a negative connotation in the mbti community. Good on you for having the courage to "come out" and share your perspective!
a lot of sensors are misrepresented especially as not having intuition at all or abstract interests or not being creative. All wrong. Along with estp, esfp also deserves to be seen in a much more positive light.
Hi, I'm honestly in the same situation. I was first typed as an ENTP, and then did some introspection and found out that I fit the criteria for ENTP and ESTP. Now I think I'm an ESTP, but I'm not really sure because every ESTP character in movies is always represented as the "bully", or if it's in real-life l they're represented as the "jock" and don't like talking about "nerdy" stuff.
My fav estp character is Casey from Atypical. She's awesome, uses her Se in very playful way, not really hurting anyone. Very strong, motivated, kind, straightforward, funny, caring and definitely not dumb at all.
I took different tests and the results were always entp or intp. I don't feel like an intp at all but I relate to entp. But what about estp? Maybe am I an s type?
High iq estp you can view it was entp w boosted Se or estp with boosted Ne I really don't like mbti . I once read estp will find the most exact type at all cost where entp will generally not care so I stood with estp but then estp are supposed to not have Ne so it's a flawed system. Tbh like in psychology there are co morbid disorders We are comorbid estp entp at least I am either nurture or nature caused
Dude same, I'm an ESTP and I was mistyped as an intuitive too. When you start talking about how ESTPs are very misrepresented in MBTI, I agree with that to the core. Also, I agree that just because we have dominant Se doesn't mean we don't like theories, creativity, ideas, hypothesizing, etc. I actually love all of those, even I'm a writer and have published digital stories on an app. Also, after watching your video to the end, I think I've never related this HARD to someone before😂 everything you talk about are super relatable that made me think if I was watching myself in the video lmao
@@alifah128 actually intuitive can actually as sensors but sensor can't and even you are then I think there estp who only want to fashionse theories I don't know why as a sensor you want to be open minded
I salute you for knowing and accepting the reality of being ESTP, after all, ESTPs are as real as reality goes. I understand that stereotyping could lead to misjudgment, my respect to you for seeing through misconceptions about ESTPs and other personalities. Salute
*ENTP* : Talk about an app for for a short period of time without ever actually making the app. Then talk about the next big thing they're going to do (but never actually do). *ESTP* : Actually make an app` _edit: To be clear, I mean this in a joking manner, although it can be somewhat true_
@UC6gJjBkOGGLP3X0deuqdwPw the app is out on android and is in the process of being approved by apple right now to publish to the app store. We're just waiting on them. I do what I say.
@@TypeMatch On the app, can people seek the type they think that matches them or does the app has it's own idea about which type the person should date?
@@PowerRedBullTypology you always have the option of seeking who you want. This is the first version but after the iOS version is out were going to do a major update changing features and likely removing the percentage for matches. This is just the beginning.
It's a good thing more and more people in the typology community 'come out' as sensor. Before the problem was that all these "intuitives" (a group consisting of both sensors and intuitives) seemed to posses the skills of both intuitives and sensors together . So it made it seem like intuitives had super strengths and seemed more well rounded people than they actually are in reality. Once more and more people will recognize they're sensors more and more it will become visible how intuitives are absolutely overrated. After more people will figure out they're sensors the celebrity types should be next. Now most celebs are typed as intuitives, while I think there are more sensors celebs than intuitives too. I think the main reason why intuitives have a better 'image' in the typing community also comes from the fact that most people think they're intuitives. The result is that sensors are 'the other people' that you do not know or hear about. So when more sensors will become visibile in the community, automatically their image will improve a lot too since people will see they're "normal" people too.
I'm a intp and I wrote about this sensory shaming and a bunch of intuitives were acting like sensors are evil. I used to think that at the very beginning of learning mbti and realized sensors actually come off as more down to earth because of their concrete thinking and I realized I saw a lot of infj qualities in istjs but people don't seem to realize that every human has 4 sides of the brain which is 2 intuitives and 2 sensors. So sensors can be intuitive they just don't normally rely in it as a first option. Intuition can be grown by anyone and so can sensing if intuitives get therapy and learn to become more present in the moment. ACCORDING TO CS JOSEPH a ESTP mind is the ego and the subconscious is INFJ the ISTj is unconscious and superego is ENFP. I see the istj in her unconscious come out in her eyes and some mannerisms ?
My SP friends are some the most enjoyable people in my life. I'm an INTP, but I find the sensor bias in the MBTI community to be a result of misinformation and exaggerated stereotypes.
I'm so happy to find an ESTP that's interested in MBTI! My husband is ESTP and I'm INFP so you can imagine the struggles. There are a lot of negative stereotypes about sensors. I think we intuitives are jealous of their combo of practical knowledge and intuition, especially their intuition about other people and their motivations, and ability to easily connect with others.
Now that you're an ESTP, will you do a crossover episode with Love Who? Also, now that you're an ESTP, will you revenge your kind by beating up Frank James for making ESTPs seem criminal? :D
Uuuuu interesting I'll have to watch that video. Frank seems cool though. I'm sure we'd have no problems. I've been meaning to do a video with Lovewho for a while so it'll happen
I greatly appreciate this. I'm also an ESTP and surrounded by intuitives. I've always felt like there should be so much more for my type that's available, beyond the cookie cutter mold we're put in.
As an ENTJ with Se tertiary, I actually adore Se and think it’s so fun. I think, for me at least, it is taking action on my plans and living life in the moment and to the fullest. Se is very adventurous and I think it’s pathetic that people have to put down sensors in order to make themselves feel special. Good for you for admitting the mistype and I respect you for it :)
And to follow that, I think everyone has been mistyped at least once. Before being professionally typed as an ENTJ, I always either tested (online) as ENTP, ENFJ, or ENFP so I was extremely confused. It wasn’t until I was professionally typed and actually studied the functions and not the stereotypes (like you did) that it finally clicked for me
I think making this video is really important for our community. A lot of people can't conceptualize Se, especially Ne. Because for Ne we are so focused on the connections between things that we overlook reality. We imagine that we would have to completely deprave ourselves of the connections to see reality. I think this is why Se is so poorly understood
The lack of information on Se is what's making it difficult for me to figure out my type. Also, I'm relatively new to MBTI so that could be another reason. With all the research I've done (which is basically watch other TH-camrs explain stuff, read articles, compare types, etc) I'm probably an INFP, ISFP, INTP or ISTP (there's a low chance of the last two but my introduction was through 16personalities where I got INTP, but the tests aren't too accurate anyways). It seems difficult to differentiate Se from Ne I guess
Yeah I was type as Intp too but I don't know if that's true because I don't really have any Ti traits other then introversion and at timesI feel like I forcing myself to conform to that stereotype.
@@TheNicMMc im not fully sure if I have Ti or not. However, I relate to Fi more and I probably got confused as a Thinker due to inferior Te, idk. Which type do you think you are?
Nice...I can see how these can be mixed up. My dad thinks he's an ENTP but sometimes he switches to thinking he's ESTP. I never had any doubt about being NF but I mistyped myself as INFJ or INFP before being professionally typed as ENFP. Tests aren't accurate either, I always test INFP or INFJ, have never received an ENFP result despite those definitely being my functions. I appreciate your willingness to discuss your mistype, hopefully more people will come to see that they could also be mistyped. We can put so much energy into being 'our type' and not want to consider we might be wrong.
Thank you!!! I always thought there was something wrong with being a sensor, because first of all there are so little sensors on the internet or in the mbti community at all (because most of them are probably mistyped) & I couldn't grasp what the difference was, because I knew it isn't boring in my head, but the description of sensors sounds boring as hell. I can see myself in so many aspects youre saying regards sensors! I am so happy about that!
Very very interesting. Thanks for posting. You've opened my eyes to ESTPs. Seems that there is actually a huge overlap between ESTPs and ENTPs. (Me I'm a very classical ENTP with clear "N".) (Writing this, I'm speculating that there would exist a gray overlap region between "S" and "N", i.e. it's a gradual thing, not either/or black/white.) (Also, I am thinking that Se and Ne are very similar, and also Si and Ni are very similar, much more similar than Si versus Se and Ni versus Ne.) Have a great day! Keep on posting, love your videos!
“I’m kinda douchey” 😆😆 I love when people can admit their bullshit. I’m an ENFP and I’m a shit show who can’t finish anything. Eh well. Anyway I’m excited to see more ESTP content. I love learning the language each type speaks and there are not nearly enough confirmed Se’s on TH-cam!
The world is so funny! So entertaining! Me in the most boring situation can be and often is so entertaining. I don't need extreme situations to have fun! This is interesting Lu
ESTPs are some of the most loyal, generous friends. And btw they’re not bullies, they are over the top sometimes when young, but in high school I realized some of the most overbearing people are also the most non judgemental and no ill intent.
i always didn’t know whether i was an estp or entp because i could relate to both types the same amount, but i always thought of myself as more of an entp because of my interest in debating, and was told that i was more of an estp in my behaviour. this video slowly made me realize that i am in fact an estp, and it was sealed the moment you said that you sometimes have to glaze over your eyes because the outside world can be so distracting! that was my „OH“ moment and now im like 1000% more sure that i am an estp! thank you for this video!!
YO!! That's so awesome!! This just made my day that it helped you. I'm glad you could relate. I'm going to make more videos about ESTPs and the differences between Ne and Se now.
Intesting. Havn't researched much into ESTP's. Helpful to have someone that is aware of their surroundings. Very Informative video. No shame in in mistyping. Happens all the time.
I would love to have a convo with you. I have been typed everything from ESTP to ENTP to ESFP to ENFP. I can relate a lot to all four almost equally. 🤯 I’ve been pretty certain that I was an ENTP though. Something you just said REALLY REALLY hit home though! The thing about how hard it is to be the only one who can see the reality of a situation. THAT is something I struggle with almost daily and I hate it! It makes you feel like you’re the only one who is not a complete idiot or playing some stupid political or fake game. Is that an ESTP thing? I also love hunting and started getting into MMA and Jiu Jitsu at one point too. I totally relate to being out of touch with physical environment!! I’m exactly the same!! To the point of being clumsy and running into crap sometimes lol. I’m super ADD. Ya wow. Never encountered anyone like myself before! And exactly the same as you when it comes to everything you said after that! Just wow! Anyway I have a lot of questions if you want to get in touch let me know. I feel like we’d have an interesting conversation! 🙂
As an ENTP I question my own type daily, but for various reasons, especially when checking against stereotypes. I've always been very observant and noticed details in my environment that others don't. I am more in-tune with my body than low Se types typically are, yet I don't like physical risk or but have a crazy memory that i can still feel textures and smells and sounds from 3 years old to now. Also, I don't feel very Ne lately and more Ni. This video was great food for thought! Id love to see more mistype-themed content!
Awesome! I think its great that you just put it out there and are openly informing your audience that you now see that you’re an ESTP. I also am glad that we now have one more self-identified sensor in the community. We really badly need more sensors in the community. It’s too biased towards intuitives. PS I love Bro Science Life, those videos are hilarious.
Perception according to Sensors: Sensing functions are realistic and useful, Intuitive functions are unrealistic and useless Perception according to Intuitives: Sensing functions are literally just the five senses, Intuitive functions are literally everything else (if you’ve ever had a thought besides how good something smells you must have a great intuition)
I was talking to one ESTP guy about MBTI and he almost fall asleep, than pulled out his phone and flipped through memes about shit(literally). He is 40 years old. This is the picture of every ESTP i know.
omg true i've always been typed as entp from all kinds of tests but nowadays i get tired of all ne and basically most "intuitive stuffs". i love gathering knowledge and information and brainstorm w/ it but i do it because i wanna know the reality. i just wanna know what's going on, that's it. i used to be somekind of debater and blabla entp stereotype but debating or basically ponder upon things for the sake of it bores me bcs if i get the information that i need then that's it. i move on. all of my friends also perceive me as a sensory even tho i always said to them that i always get entp due to my highly scored ne. i always score really high on ne, se, ti, fe, and recently si. dunno why i always got entp but after seeing ur vid its soooo liberating to know that sensory things dont mean sports, daredevilness, etc but more abt realizing and observing reality then process its "potentialities" based on the facts and what should we do abt them than the other way around (intuitive). thank u for the great great vid
Great to have a fellow ESTP who is not Sure about S/N talk about that. As an Entrepreneur myself I do have and See great concepts, the sensoring is very strong though, and I'm very happy with ESTP 😊
My close ESTP friend also has zero interest in drinking and stuff like that. I think it has to do with actually valuing their Se, maybe? Wanting to be able to not lose that control.
That's been my reason for not getting into drugs. To be candid, I think I would like the experience of some drugs which is why I'll never try it. I don't like to lose control of myself like that. With drinking, I also don't like to lose control over myself and basically lose the next day from being hungover. I like to be productive too much to let myself do that.
@@TypeMatch Yeah that makes perfect sense. I reckon you should especially stay away from weed, as the sensation of getting more into that Ni seem to be hiiiighly addictive among Se doms. On one end it can lead to some balance, but on the other end I think it may just f*ck up your natural way of interaction with the world, making you lose a part of the intense vibe you naturally have. But hey, that's just my observation- I don't really want to tell anyone what to do or not. I have seen people change for the better and for worse when it comes to drugs and alcohol. Better not use medication if you're not sick, eh?
I'm an INFJ, which is the shadow of ESTP (and vice versa), and the way you describe you interact with the world is like me, but more concrete, and it feels awesome just seeing you talking and describing your ESTP experiences, because to me it's like, "Yes, that's me, but more concrete." Lol ..... I need to find an ESTP person and learn from them and vice versa
INFJ shadow of ESTP? You mean they're DUALS. The INFJ shadow is ENFP and the ESTP shadow is ISTJ. Dual = same top 4 functions, but different direction ("upside down") and the shadow types do not share the functions (at least not the top 4 functions). Instead, the functions are switcehd from introversion towards extroversion and opposite. So the INFJ Ni becomes Ne, the INFJ Fe becomes FI ....etc (resulting in the ENFP)
Lol -- having to come out as an estp! Seriously, the MBTI community is ridiculous sometimes, and in fact, the worst comments ever made to me about my type came from in order: infp, infj (she was reporting the infp comments but obviously gave their comments credence), enfj. An enfj said point blank to me one time -- "Oh my God, that's my mom's type and she is a man hater." I was younger and more impressionable, and took it to heart, thinking I would have a hard time finding a husband and would be cruel to him. I can be Te-ish, but I am a very caring, loyal, supportive wife. Go ask your local surgeon if ISTP's and ESTPs are inferior types. I would rather know my surgeon was a disciplined STP than any other type pretty much. Maybe STJ but not when it's intricate. Thanks for the video.
Thank you. There is so many misconceptions about ESTPs and we need more people like you. INFJ here, I was mistyped as INFP once. Now... I won't dwell into how much I was hurt by stereotypes about INFPs. But as I did more research and learned about cognitive functions I found out I'm actually an INFJ. I guess one huge misconception about every judging type is that we can't be spontaneous, which isn't true. Of course I like having structure and a loose plan of everything, but I don't stick to them in 100%, and I procrastinate... a lot.
Se doms (ExSPs) can be creative, write, play music, draw, do photography, etc. There's something grounding about Se. A difference I noticed between ENTPs and ESTPs is (dis)connection to reality-as you said, pragmatism. A discussion with an ENTP results in us exploring possibilities and we are making our own world, and our vision seems more real than the tangible world (Ne dom at play with my Ni dom). A discussion with an ESTP helps me see the world as it is, rather than 'How can I frame the world according to my vision, what are the tools that exist to make my vision come true'. Love from an INTJ who wishes to be an xSTP because I envy your function stacks
ENFP here and learning more about the MBTI and typing my family and friends it makes me so mad how prejudice the online community is to sensors!!! Sensors aren’t dumb or shallow!! I have had great convos with sensors and they are smart and creative and funny and I envy them because my intuition can put me wayyyy to much in my head and they can apply and engage in a practical way and be in the moment or reality of the situation like u said and I think that’s a great trait. I really wish ppl wouldn’t hate on sensors. Intuitives are just jealous cuz sensors can engage better socially 😂they can better have the tendency to know how to enjoy the moment and engage with other ppl and intuitives should open their minds and try to learn sownthinf from them. I mean we can all learn something from each personality
Have you been typed professionally using temperament and interaction style? I just doubt people’s assessment of themselves on their own type now that I’ve been typed as ENFP when I “knew” I was ESTP, and it makes sense for me now that I can see myself more objectively. Linda Berrens, Dario Nardi, John Bebe, CS Joseph use the same model in typing people and it is fool proof as long as you know how to utilize the type grid. But, I want to mention that high Ne users are actually known for their verbal agility. They are fluent in their speech and out class all the types in how well they speak and engage an audience to get their ideas across. Your comment is why people are confused about type because it’s still stereotypical of you to say sensors engage better socially and intuitives are closed minded. Now, high Ti and even demon Te can be very closed minded for example, but it all comes down to the maturity level of each type.
As an INTP, I am totally agree with the se ni thing. I had to spend more than 20 years to copy, eat, digest, simulate, develop opposite ESFJ types to fit in before I heard MBTI recently. Any personality is just a beginning; developing or not is the key.
As an istp, it seems to me that estp's might be the most fun to hang out with and talk to. The open mindedness and and rational thought, and non spastic nature sounds refreshing.
who cares what they think. You are searching and embarking on defining you and your truth...nothing to apologize for. and the more I listen to this you are like my female counterpart and it is strange and refreshing that WOW others are actually like this. Thanks for sharing.
I thought I was an INTP, but recently an INFJ friend told me that am clearly an Ne Dom and that my Fe is not inferior but more like a child Fe. At first I didn't believe her, because I work my Fe. After that I saw a video of DaveSuperPower who says that we are unable to saw the 1st and 4th function. So I continue to thinking about that. Today I hadmit that I really am an ENTP.
Aspiring dating coach and ISTP in the flesh. Had someone criticize my methods saying "It'll only work for Sensors like you" and that it was obvious and didn't need explaining. Not playing victim here at all, but man it was funny seeing "sensor prejudice" actually playing out
When mature ESTPs tap into Fe they’re some of the most watchable content creators. No fuss or pretence, you have that in common with Joe Rogan. I guess just from my perspective as an ENTP.
I would like more examples of how the ESTP would “see the reality of the situation” more than ENTP would. I’m ENTP, and I believe that I would handle the situation with my father’s health in the same way as you did. I would love to see some other examples so that I can better understand your point of view.
10:27 that's really funny. As an ENTP, my default state is this. Exactly this. I don't wear lenses as that calms me. However, it also doesn't really make a difference. I rarely care about what is physically going around me. I get annoyed by it, but i also just accept it.
ESTP 🤙 one of my favorite type (INTP) awesome people. Real Life Actionheroes, No fear! But they can have anger issues, and are able to destroy anything that is in front of them, if not controlled.
I know 3 ESTP males very well, one of them is my father, they all had a rough childhood, lots of pain&suffering. They also fit the Enneagram 8 description, with their need for control and anger issues.
Joe Rogan is an ENFJ. He’s more interested in the abstract than the concrete, he demonstrates superb social skills (why his podcast is so good), he isn’t aware of his own thoughts (feed me your thoughts) and he’s constantly reading his guests emotions. People often effortlessly show their dominant function (effortless social skills. His fashion is awful and he’s sometimes far removed from reality). They work on their lower functions and demonstrate those too. His wrestling interests is Fe. So many wrestlers are actually ENFJ’s who are trying to come across as ESTP, but actual ESTP’s are interested in fashion, design, creativity with the sensory. They’re just like ESFP’s and ISFP’s and all the SP’s but with Fe! Steve Jobs is an ESTP!
thank you for this!!!!!! i haven’t been able to confidently 100% say i’m an estp for a while because i like the theoretical and philosophical things and i’m a pretty creative person. i wasn’t sure how much of it was attributed to my adhd or if i was actually an entp faking being an estp but this made me feel so much better because the way you described yourself was extremely like me!
TYPE MATCH IS SO SCARY, THERE IS NO ROOM FOR EXCUSES LOL. DEFENSE MECHANISM NONO. MAYBE MAKE IT MORE RANDOM NATURED? AND MORE GAME-LIKE!!!! THANKS, AND YOU ARE WELCOOOOME! YAAAS IM YELLING>>>>
I know sensors who LOVE small talks. They especially love to talk about the weather and what they ate or planning on eating. I wouldn't say the assumptions are baseless.
At the beginning of the video, you say: "Let's just get right down to it." Me: Oh yep, we have an Se user here, lol. For the longest time, I thought I was an INFJ, but I got so annoyed at the stereotype, and some shown behaviors felt so ridiculous. Eventually, I found out that I had mistyped myself and actually am an INTJ and not an INFJ. I never really understood Te or what it meant, only the stereotypical way I've observed it to be. At first, I also had a hard time accepting it, but the more I interacted with certain situations and people and their stupid problems, I noticed how I tried to fix these problems, even try to explain the issues at the core, come up with creative solutions, and got annoyed at people just being so oblivious or denying it. I know I'm not wrong, nor mean, but some immediately go to that conclusion and act like I'm the bad and mean one. There were also many, many times where I was asked to do certain things as a child or teen, usually in a physical or emotional sense that I felt so ffng uncomfortable with like; school gym, dancing, acting dumb/like a clown that showed my Fi being more present than Fe has been in any way, and made me have panic attacks or made me freeze on the spot. I've never met a "healthy" ESTP, (well, I've never really known an ESTP) but I gotta say I'm impressed and honestly really happy to have come across your channel and this video. I first watched one of your videos about dating an INTJ (and I could already notice your Se, Ti, and Ni being very present, lol), and that brought me to this video. Cool, that I'm getting to know a bit more about ESTPs! I usually dislike people...😂 (Mostly through bad experience with immature "Thinkers") However, after this video, I wouldn't be so against having a conversation with an ESTP anymore.😅 So yeah, thanks for lowering my paranoia!😂😂 " 4:19 - 4:30 " Extra fun note as an INTJ: Sometimes I go to my friends house in the evening and every once in a while he watches some soccer game on tv. I'm not interested in (watching) soccer or sports on the tv in the first place, but I'd usually deal with it by making a little fun out of it. I would look at some of the people on the field, and especially when they behave or play foolishly or as if they're a little baby or seem really entitles, I always laugh and comment on their ridiculousness, dramatically mimic them and their behavior with comments, make weird faces and add some exaggerated crying sounds because they act like the world is ending and every single time I do that, my friend always can't stop himself from laughing hysterically at the exaggerated impressions I'm making as if I'm some merciless "comedian." And I honestly love it myself as well!😂
Te/Se here... I was typed by objective personality 2 years ago and and Since then I have seen the patterns unfold in my life and I can confirm that is my type. I had this exact same experience, I thought I was INFJ (my demon functions) thought I was savior Ni because I love ideas and theories and abstract connections. But now I know that if I was lead Ni I wouldn’t even know that I liked those things. I could see my Ni because it’s middle function. Of course I didn’t see my Se because it’s natural and easy for me. I though sensors were dumb and could only see what’s in front of their face. I now know that’s not true. And yes I can confirm I have your exact style of comedy lol, I see the reality of a situation and exaggerate it to the point of extreme sarcasm 😅! And btw my INFP friend literally told me he’s a sensor because he likes looking at stars and taking in nature and living in the moment. LOL just goes to show how unconscious we are and how we see ourselves backwards and upsidedown by nature.
Ne and Se are lenses to the external world. Intuition sees everything at the same time without focus and sensing sees one thing at a time in focus. I could see you as an Ne hero still or having some degree of ADD/ADHD as an Se hero.
My father, an ESTP got drunk just for once. He says that's because he hates being drunk and having to clean the vomit haha. ESTP's are really precious.
Here’s another question. If you are ESTP, that means that you have SE dominant and NI inferior. Would you be willing to explain how your NI inferior expresses itself? I feel curious about how you originally believed that NE was your dominant (hero) function, and now you believe that NE is your demon function. Would you be willing to explain how you were able to come to so dramatic a shift in perspective? I am clearly N dominant. One thing that clearly supports that is how much more difficult S-types of activity are for me. I can chug up ideas for hours at a time without needing a break; however, I have to rest after about 20 minutes of housework. Being orderly, doing housework, dealing with putting objects in their place and somehow managing to keep them there - all of that is such a struggle for me. I have to make myself go to the gym, and I am very proud to say that I have been going for 10 years now. I really do see my N functions as being fully grown (I am in my 70s) and my S functions as still requiring so much encouragement in order to develop. So for this reason, because of so much discrepancy between my N functions and my S functions, it is hard for me to understand how you were able to perceive yourself, first, in one way, and, then, in the opposite way. I would love to hear your explanation about this. Would you be willing to explain? Also, do you struggle with your N functions?
You really help me to stop felling like a impostor like "na You just want the carácter cause they hace cool glases" . A past enfp, entp and finally confortable estp
ESTP: entrepreneur = app… we can float among our functions and if we didn’t then a lot of us would be living on a shadow function and ignorant af - props to you on your app I grabbed it and ima check it out… but Joe Rogan… gurl😫😆
I think Joe Rogan is a TeSe jumper ENTJ under the Objective Personality 512 type (Dave Superpowers) system; so really still an ST but one of the traditionally-considered 'intuitive types' of classic MBTI. Not sure about Burr but the ST is clear for him too. Yeah, not ENTPs, hell no.
@@TypeMatch I think Joe is an Fe dom, and probably an ENFj. You don't see how abrasive he is? His core is not "to be loved". He isn't aiming for that. He wants the cash and that's ENFj. ESTps are much more shmoopy and adorable than that dude. ENTj want cash too, but their approach isn't the same. They have better manners. Fe types often have just abysmal manners, like chewing cud in people's faces. No one seems to ever say that, but it's so true.
I'm mostly sure about being an entp though I still overthink about it way too much like I've been just deep diving into this for the past week and I can't get myself to stop- Am I an entp or just a real confused estp? I'll never know cuz I'm aboutta fall asleep right here right now
I went through the same things, because of stereotypes i thought I was an intp and hated extroverts and then I realized I've been a ne dom all along and handle Fe too well to be an intp, it's just my si that's highly developed but still rely on ne more than ti
I have been thinking about this myself. I think I'm an ENTP but I might be an ESTP. Could you make a more in depth video about distinguishing ESTP and ENTP?
@@CaDzA818 he does have some awesome videos about estps but I think it's still hard to nail down from the comparison video simply because it's not explained in a concrete way since he's an intuitive.
I really feel like the A and the T - can make a difference in expression of it all or there lack of PLUS our percentiles and where they fall in our letters… example: my P is so high I am always having an endless popcorn effect with the possibilities of things to the point of procrastination and daydreaming 😂 when I seen how balance everything was except for that P I was like yo that P is and has always been my mf kryptonite 🤣
Being mistyped sucks. Blah. I don't see ENTP in you as you do not interrupt your self. Your flow of conscious thoughts are pretty linear, where as an ENTP will constantly go on tangents and interrupt their flow of thoughts interject their side stories, or one off thoughts. Listen to ENFP and ENTP talk sometimes, they will talk in a theme, almost circular, and will constantly interrupt what they are talking about as new ideas pop into their heads as they verbally process their thoughts in real time.
At this point these types are just pointless to me, different tests type me differently, very weird, one day I'm an ISTP then I'm an ENTP, then I'm an ESTP, And then I try to type myself and I can't figure it out, and then I just think about the types and try to figure myself out, and think that I figure it out, idk even know my brain is so dumb.
to the short-sighted I seem superficial because I don't I like to look like a weirdo. I like to look normal. But I'm highly intelligent and perceptive.
A lot of people in the type community would not be open in admitting a mistyped and I think it only makes you a more credible source.
Thank you!! I'm glad people see it this way :)

Open minded ESTP’s are probably the most mistyped and misunderstood anomalies in MBTI. Many examples of this exist out there.
Definitely agree. I'm an openminded ESTP and we're really hard to pin down and stereotype even if a lot of the common ESTP traits still permeate across us all.
I would say most estp I know are pretty open minded

Thank you for being a sensor advocate. This community needs more people proud of who they are. Intuition is not a fairy/princess/comedic trait, it’s just as fun/boring as the rest. People in MBTI need to look past stereotypes. I’ve been misconceived myself. I’ve looked right past Se users, but realized they’re No can fckin destroy me. Literally.
You’re a very interesting ESTP. They’re the type I know the most, and you’re a very open minded kind.

I agree , if she’s a estp she’s not the typical one she’s sort of a different flavor. The estp I know In real life actually are pretty shallow and it’s very hard for me as intp to have a normal interesting discussion, they do seem to enjoy small talk .but it’s nice to see that there’s always exceptions and unique people.
well thank you haha. I'm glad maybe to present a different light on the type
@@nikolaussoundso isn‘t individuality Fi? Si Nemesis makes you worried about past experiences I think
I love sensors. I never understood why they often have a negative connotation in the mbti community. Good on you for having the courage to "come out" and share your perspective!
I hate them intuitive best 🎉
a lot of sensors are misrepresented especially as not having intuition at all or abstract interests or not being creative.
Very strong, motivated, kind, straightforward, funny, caring and definitely not dumb at all.
yes i feel the exact same way. the estps in shows and movies are always portrayed as bullies and jocks for some reason????
I took different tests and the results were always entp or intp. I don't feel like an intp at all but I relate to entp. But what about estp? Maybe am I an s type?
High iq estp you can view it was entp w boosted Se or estp with boosted Ne
I really don't like mbti . I once read estp will find the most exact type at all cost where entp will generally not care so I stood with estp but then estp are supposed to not have Ne so it's a flawed system. Tbh like in psychology there are co morbid disorders
We are comorbid estp entp at least I am either nurture or nature caused
It sucks how stereotypes make yourself so hard to type well.

Yes!! This is what I'm really hoping to help expose

I knew it, clear extroverted sensor, all other functions are really similar to ENTPs
Read some Dario Nardi, ESTPs actually have brain function most similar to INTPs
@@empemitheos Why?
@@PkmnRayhak they use both frontal deduction brain regions for strong introverted thinking
That's awesome!!

I really appreciate your action to go back, reanalyze your own type and be open to share with us.

Better not use medication if you're not sick, eh?
this is a really important video! i'm proud of you for being openly wrong about something, and then changing your mind. more sensor pride!
Like you’re a frickin Labrador 😂 I love that you’re talking about Se bias. It’s a great much needed reminder and helps me mistype less.
@@PowerRedBullTypology Yea, whatever the proper terminology is .... The inverse of infj
Very cool to hear from someone who got mixed up between these two types.
Se users usually talks about what goes on with others. Si users talk about there own experience
What about xSFJs gossiping? They talk about others no?
the exact same thing happened to me lol - stereotypes really do get in the way of proper typing
Time for growth!!
Maybe Socionics can help. Ne and Se are very different in that system and not easily confused. Much more of a Sensor-friendly community too.

I was thinking to be ENTP too but with time the extroverted dom is getting much more sense..so I guess there are many estp's who think to be Entp
"extroverted dom" ? You mean extroverted sensing?
^
thank you for this!!!!!! i haven’t been able to confidently 100% say i’m an estp for a while because i like the theoretical and philosophical things and i’m a pretty creative person. i wasn’t sure how much of it was attributed to my adhd or if i was actually an entp faking being an estp but this made me feel so much better because the way you described yourself was extremely like me!
I usually dislike people...😂 (Mostly through bad experience with immature "Thinkers") However, after this video, I wouldn't be so against having a conversation with an ESTP anymore.😅 So yeah, thanks for lowering my paranoia!😂😂
" 4:19 - 4:30 " Extra fun note as an INTJ:
Sometimes I go to my friends house in the evening and every once in a while he watches some soccer game on tv.
#LoveLu (previously featured on the "Love Who" channel) would gladly invite you in with open arms! You're both awesome.
I thought ESTPs were major partiers, interesting.
They have a whole different system but that's fine. Either way joe is a high Se user
I wonder if there's a chance that at some point you will retype again as ESFP (kinda like love lu)?
Dude no chance. I have no Fi. I just use Fe to relate in the moment but that's it.
Oo I actually kinda want to hear your social commentary :>
I'm mostly sure about being an entp though I still overthink about it way too much like I've been just deep diving into this for the past week and I can't get myself to stop-
Am I an entp or just a real confused estp? I'll never know cuz I'm aboutta fall asleep right here right now
I’m in the exact same situation lol
Laying in bed at 1
Same, if I'm an estp I would be a really inactive one
I went through the same things, because of stereotypes i thought I was an intp and hated extroverts and then I realized I've been a ne dom all along and handle Fe too well to be an intp, it's just my si that's highly developed but still rely on ne more than ti
I had the same situation :D It took me a bit of self discovery to find out that I am, in fact, a sensor ;D
Credit to your friend for having both the honesty and humility to admit she made a mistake in typing you.
I have been thinking about this myself. I think I'm an ENTP but I might be an ESTP. Could you make a more in depth video about distinguishing ESTP and ENTP?
Yes I will
Check out C. S Joseph video on how ENTP compare to ESTP he got some good insate
"I like hip-hop that has barking and gunshots in it." XD
Very Interesting and good to listen about this :) im still supposedly an entp..but heck knows lol
I, too, was disappointed to discover that I'm a labrador.
HAHAHA!! You're not though!
