Doesn't have to be a high price. If you have a bank and you needed to do a $100million cross border payment to convert Dollars to Euros (which is an extremely rare transaction), it can be done right now with an XRP of 50 cents. XRP saves time and between .5-1.5% fees compared to traditional money changing and even though every bank knows XRP exists, 99.999% still use traditional money changing methods. It's not like they don't know about it or don't know how to use it. It's simply not worth the risk of such a volatile asset that can change dramitically quickly while doing a transfer. Banks do not hold XRP it is only bought and sold through a brokerage. Banks are not brokers, brokers are not banks.

If they did, you'd be able to see that data...how many transactions, how much, etc because the investors in those banks would need that public information. Out of your "200 banks"...name one, just one that uses XRP then prove it. Shoot a link that Greasy Joe's Bank and Trust uses it, in 2022 they did this much in $ in transactions. I think you hit the nail on the head. I have been thinking this for some time once I understood what XRP was. I think that the banking sector is the first wave of money to come in and it will be exactly as you explained. I think that once these other sectors see the efficiency of it, then we will see them come on over time. The overall plan is to tokenised any & everything of value ( stock market, global debt, global wealth, global real estate & derivatives) and each of those sectors are all equally as big. I think the "Flip the switch" moment is merely the first stage it will be big and everyone should take off profits but definitely hold some back for what will come later. Once you have a system in place that is efficient that in itself will create more opportunities which will create more value to add on to the XRPL. I think some prearranged agreements were made to enhance how this will benefit all, stability and value are #1, the retail investor is free to buy, and XRP may be releasing reserves to stabilize the coin , so that the flip of the switch moves it up in a stable way, I think the plan is to allow it to jump and stay stable instead of tons of volatility
I think they are going to do it a little slower but I love the way you explained it. The average retail investor is going to sell at $4,$7,$10 so all of their Xrp will be avail for pick up by large institutions. I don’t think the large institutions care if they pay $1 or $13 because like you said they all know what it’s going to. Every point you are raising is valid and 100% logical. I definitely see XRP being priced somewhere between $1000-$10,000 a coin in the not too distant future. Retail makes thousands and maybe a million on a high end each bull cycle. For Bticoin or any crypto to reach new levels and remain there... you will need institutions. Just the facts.
The institutions don't need to hold the X asset, they only need Liquidity, but it'll set to a high price bc the X asset is inflationary in nature it burns in every payments transactions, Do your math folks, the X asset is not enough for the institutions it's only 99B + coin. What you said definitely makes sense. In crypto, the last person to buy usually takes the least gain or biggest lost so, there may be discussions on how to allow institutions to buy in at all at once at the same price to prevent large losses.

This is the first time in history since the Bretton Woods Agreement in 1944 where every country in the world can start their accounting books at zero. Clear debts and retail money will be a needle in a haystack compared to institutional money as we no. I agree with you that the flip of a switch can happen all at once, which sounds logical. However, it will be a planned event, and retail is not made aware. I think the central global banks and major private sector orgs are getting signed and setup as we speak. Next year, around the BTC halving, whoever is in will be wealthy. The law is also being pushed up to speed quietly to ensure it can be taxed and regulated for new entrants. This will be heavy on the CBDCs introduced around the world. The poor will be on Universal Credit globally, and wealthy will manage the money they have in the systems of tokenised assests. Just my take on it.
I'll sincerely advise you to move your funds from banks and switch to the QFS (quantum financial system) now it is the best way to keep your funds safe against the collapse. After the ongoing bank crash, the stock markets will collapse….banks and cash will be worthless and outdated !

holders mostly help by reducing the available coin, the price driver is usage as I understand it, the dormant coin Acts one way and ledger being full of moving value with a purpose does both, shrinks the number of usable coin and therefore raises the price temporarilv . but tones of use busies many more coin, so on a grand scale of huge usage the price is driven way up, this helps eliminate the need of more coins, so when they flip the switch, our held coin goes to the moon, because of the reduced availability, so price going up acts as a way to provide liquidity, so this is how i understand it.
My understanding is that the price is driven up by the coin being in the system actively moving, the holders of the coin are helping the price a different way , they (we) have effectively reduced the available coin for use, these two thing dictate the price, either of those two aspects increase, then do does the price of XRP, that’s how I understand it, still searching for clues!!!

i think it's gonna be a multiple flip of the switch, a first main one to cut retail out. say 100-500usd (people cant buy a boatload of xrp anymore) and 99.99% of hodling current ppl sell off. Then after some time (months) a secondary FoTS to higher prices. This because i dont think they would shell out 5-25.000usd to the current hodlers IF they can convince you to get out (happily anyways) at less than 500usd.

Ripple is buying up more and more XRP at the moment. Maybe as Ripple makes a deal with an institution they are buying XRP in chunks so they can reserve a set amount for its institutional partner. So if the price goes up then Ripple can have a private sale to that institution at a set agreed price when the institution is ready to launch it in their system.
I am tracking with the BIS, they said for banks to be compliant BY 2025, so that’s in 2024, or sooner. If Ripple settles with the SEC then it’s on! I'm holding all my xrp. I truly believe it can go to £100 to £1000 and even more!... My xrp will be sold when it hits around £1000+... Although I would consider selling at around £500 because that would be plenty to live off for the rest of my life... We know it's going to be high, just not how high. High could be 100 or 25,000. We don't know. But you're likely 100% right about the switch and why it hasn't "flipped" yet. Once all are "on board", the gates will open and we'll see true value.

I’d say that the potential price DROPS you speculated upon are unlikely to happen due to the introduction of the Automated Market Maker (AMM). It will trade on any arbitrage in price and cause the price to generally balance out and become more stable. For its intended uses, XRP must not be volatile. It need to be stable. Don’t get me wrong, I’m an XRP holder (and I’m old so I ain’t got a lot of time to sit around waiting) but I can’t see it being a “flick of the switch” overnight event. I want a high price but the kinds of fluctuations you’ve mentioned are unlikely once the AMM is adopted and it gets itself established. Also, don’t forget that each XRP is divisible by one million (one million ‘Drops’ per XRP) so the actual number of XRP should not be an issue. The institutions that want to use XRP/Ripple to move money may not necessarily be interested in FOMO-ing in in order to speculate. They may be more interested in accessing XRP in order to meet their business demands - using it for its functional properties, speed, reliability and reduction of fees required to move funds across borders.
actually i thought that the institutions dont need to hold xrp at all, they just buy it on demand. so for them it is actually not that importaant to hold it. whats imoportant is that the price has a higher value, so that the transactins dont impact the price to much, so that it stays stable at the time even when big numbers are traded. after all the good thing is, that we will see it will happen or we will see it not to happen. meanwhile i am looking forward to see the outcome, even if its not in favour of xrp.

I believe in XRP as intermediary and it will disrupt the financial system. You’re asking the right questions though. Xrp needs to have a high price. But will the system, governments and regulators accept that some guys who have millions or billions of XRP would be that rich? I doubt that this works out but who knows… If so many partners really want to use it, then they should have bought it now already at these low prices. If they believe in it and want to use it then what suppresses the price? At this time I think retail affects it most. By the way Brad Garlinghouse would be the richest man on this planet. XRP doesn't have to be at a high price. You forget XRP can be reused every 3-5 seconds. Furthermore, Brad said at a conference it wasn't designed to be at high price.

Your forgetting the fact xrp transactions are 5 seconds, 24/7/365 ...there is no need to send say 2 trillion in one lump sum it can be done over thousands of transactions in a day.

What if they know how to buy without moving the market?
That would work against their own coin , to construct it that way would diminish the coin, everyone benefits from growth , XRP does, the client does and the retail investor does, plus a good move would draw even more money into XRP

I think some prearranged agreements were made to enhance how this will benefit all, stability and value are #1, the retail investor is free to buy, and XRP may be releasing reserves to stabilize the coin , so that the flip of the switch moves it up in a stable way, I think the plan is to allow it to jump and stay stable instead of tons of volatility

I think they are going to do it a little slower but I love the way you explained it. The average retail investor is going to sell at $4,$7,$10 so all of their Xrp will be avail for pick up by large institutions. I don’t think the large institutions care if they pay $1 or $13 because like you said they all know what it’s going to. Once the switch gets flipped I believe for the retail investors who held there will be a global buy back at whatever the price they felt it needed to be at. When something is finite , and incredibly useful to the world banking systems they are going to want it back at all costs. Thoughts?

Every point you are raising is valid and 100% logical. I definitely see XRP being priced somewhere between $1000-$10,000 a coin in the not too distant future. I just find it comical how many people can’t see the logic in our arguments, but I think most of these people don’t fully grasp what XRP is going to be used for and how close we already are to this reality.

If you know and understand price auction theory.. Then it is irrelevant who is involved to play the game.
Btc didn't get to $69k from 0.001c because instos were using it and adopted it.

Institutions sell when it's advantageous on tax implications (generally a year minimum hold for long-term capital gains tax rates versus short-term rates). They make 10's of millions and billions. Retail makes thousands and maybe a million on a high end each bull cycle.
For Bticoin or any crypto to reach new levels and remain there... you will need institutions. Just the facts.
The institutions don't need to hold the X asset, they only need Liquidity, but it'll set to a high price bc the X asset is inflationary in nature it burns in every payments transactions, Do your math folks, the X asset is not enough for the institutions it's only 99B + coin. That's my humble opinion.

Whats the cost to move say as an example 2 billion in today's methods, which is the swift system correct? my question is and its just a question as i actually dont know what it costs. But lets say it cost 20K to move that 2 billion, so for me an institution would not pay more? What you said definitely makes sense. In crypto, the last person to buy usually takes the least gain or biggest lost so, there may be discussions on how to allow institutions to buy in at all at once at the same price to prevent large losses.

I can totally see your point of view. If in fact it is the case, then flipping of the switch moment wont be anytime soon. Why? Because retails investors will have to ve weeded out or lowered to a point where the retails investors cant influence the price by selling their bags. I think the price will have to reach a price in the two to three digits and stay there for a long time before the retail investors can be castrated if you will

So it makes sense that Ripple preallocates the sale with a contract and they do not execute the sake so the price stays low for other institutions to get involved. This is the level playing field. With that said, then they already know the weight of gold amount, the price of gold amount, and the commodities price and amounts linked to Xrp. I've always said the price goes up over night. Jimmy Vallee has said they already know the price or deals don't get done. The SEC lawsuit has been a joke from day 1, and it's only purpose was to slow down and hold down the price of xrp. This is the first time in history since the Bretton Woods Agreement in 1944 where every country in the world can start their accounting books at zero. Clear debts and retail money will be a needle in a haystack compared to institutional money as we no. I agree with you that the flip of a switch can happen all at once, which sounds logical. However, it will be a planned event, and retail is not made aware.
I think the central global banks and major private sector orgs are getting signed and setup as we speak. Next year, around the BTC halving, whoever is in will be wealthy. The law is also being pushed up to speed quietly to ensure it can be taxed and regulated for new entrants. This will be heavy on the CBDCs introduced around the world. The poor will be on Universal Credit globally, and wealthy will manage the money they have in the systems of tokenised assests. Just my take on it.

Ive long thought that institutions would be/have been sold XRP at a fixed price. What that price is, is anybodys guess.
holders mostly help by reducing the available coin, the price driver is usage as I understand it, the dormant coin Acts one way and ledger being full of moving value with a purpose does both, shrinks the number of usable coin and therefore raises the price
temporarilv . but tones of use busies many more coin, so on a grand scale of huge usage the price is driven way up, this helps eliminate the need of more coins, so when they flip the switch, our held coin goes to the moon, because of the reduced availability, so price going up acts as a way to provide liquidity, so this is how i understand it.
Ripple does hv 6 billion xrp over the escrow. So does this 6b already prepurchased by customers?
My understanding is that the price is driven up by the coin being in the system actively moving, the holders of the coin are helping the price a different way , they (we) have effectively reduced the available coin for use, these two thing dictate the price, either of those two aspects increase, then do does the price of XRP, that’s how I understand it, still searching for clues!!!

i think it's gonna be a multiple flip of the switch, a first main one to cut retail out. say 100-500usd (people cant buy a boatload of xrp anymore) and 99.99% of hodling current ppl sell off. Then after some time (months) a secondary FoTS to higher prices. This because i dont think they would shell out 5-25.000usd to the current hodlers IF they can convince you to get out (happily anyways) at less than 500usd.

Ripple is buying up more and more XRP at the moment. Maybe as Ripple makes a deal with an institution they are buying XRP in chunks so they can reserve a set amount for its institutional partner. So if the price goes up then Ripple can have a private sale to that institution at a set agreed price when the institution is ready to launch it in their system.

Although I would consider selling at around £500 because that would be plenty to live off for the rest of my life... If it hits £50, £100 or even £200/£300 don't get me wrong I will then start to commit to sell SOME of my xrp to then reinvest or even to make some nicely deserved purchases.

We know it's going to be high, just not how high. High could be 100 or 25,000. We don't know. But you're likely 100% right about the switch and why it hasn't "flipped" yet. Once all are "on board", the gates will open and we'll see true value.

Hence, when the switch is flipped, our held coins rise substantially due to limited availability. The rising price also serves as a means to provide liquidity. This is my understanding of the concept.
Makes sense to me. It's quite possible this is how it will surge. Next is when (or if) the flip will be switched 😆. In the US we're certainly headed towards an "event", and many seem to think we'll enter into a situation sometime 2024 with a massive liquidity crunch and "tada" 💡...there is also a small chance that there will be no flip of the switch...and we'll simply see a gradual rise in price with new users and more burns@@WillFix

I’d say that the potential price DROPS you speculated upon are unlikely to happen due to the introduction of the Automated Market Maker (AMM). It will trade on any arbitrage in price and cause the price to generally balance out and become more stable. For its intended uses, XRP must not be volatile. It need to be stable.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m an XRP holder (and I’m old so I ain’t got a lot of time to sit around waiting) but I can’t see it being a “flick of the switch” overnight event. I want a high price but the kinds of fluctuations you’ve mentioned are unlikely once the AMM is adopted and it gets itself established.
Also, don’t forget that each XRP is divisible by one million (one million ‘Drops’ per XRP) so the actual number of XRP should not be an issue.
The institutions that want to use XRP/Ripple to move money may not necessarily be interested in FOMO-ing in in order to speculate. They may be more interested in accessing XRP in order to meet their business demands - using it for its functional properties, speed, reliability and reduction of fees required to move funds across borders.

I believe in XRP as intermediary and it will disrupt the financial system. You’re asking the right questions though. Xrp needs to have a high price. But will the system, governments and regulators accept that some guys who have millions or billions of XRP would be that rich? I doubt that this works out but who knows…
If so many partners really want to use it, then they should have bought it now already at these low prices. If they believe in it and want to use it then what suppresses the price? At this time I think retail affects it most.
By the way Brad Garlinghouse would be the richest man on this planet. Maybe the first trillionare.

XRP doesn't have to be at a high price. You forget XRP can be reused every 3-5 seconds.
Furthermore, Brad said at a conference it wasn't designed to be at high price.
Brad and Chris Larsen would have to sell at an arranged price as well because they are corporate insiders would be my guess. The escrow is what would sell OTC

Your forgetting the fact xrp transactions are 5 seconds, 24/7/365 ...there is no need to send say 2 trillion in one lump sum it can be done over thousands of transactions in a day.

Good point, but that doesn’t mean they do anything with it right away, it could rest in a wallet a few days, or be used to move more money, one thing for sure, Rob’s of money will go in, and it won’t be in .50 cent chunks
