Ive had this knife for a few years and g2 say i like it. Ive seen some reviews complaining the guard comes loose/rattles. These same reviews show these people beating it against trees and logs. This knife is made of the same steel as esee and tops knives but is not designed as a bushcraft survival knife. It is a combat knife. Just as i would not chop or baton with my cold steel folders.
Never understood batoning. I'm not into bushcrafting so maybe I just don't get it, but a hatchet doesn't seem that difficult to hang on your belt or keep in your bag. Why do you need the knife to do that? Just seems kinda dumb
@@ГеоргиГецовthat makes perfect sense to somebody who also is always problem solving’ some people just aren’t happy unless there complaining about something’ anything if beaten on enough will loosen up over time’ your solution is as practical as it is simple and that goes a long way pal.
So add a handle you like bud. I'm with you on the customization tip though, wish I didn't have to add a bayonet ring and pommel to every knife I wanna use in every conceivable configuration. With the high cost we're already paying, I'd gladly shell out another twenty bucks to have the 'custom shop' do it (like all the IG boutique blacksmiths).
One more a D2 8" double edged dagger shaped blade with a full tang and floatable high strength handle. Purpose close in defense against hostile sea creatures ( sharks, baracudda, sea bass, alligator Gar, crocodiles ETC. it must float, it should also have a lanyard with paracord. Name? The Sealord knife.
I wasted $144 on the POS . Terrible edge grinds hidden by a coating and the handle screws don't fit. They should be ashamed of the lack of quality control.

I saw that guy and about pitched my computer out the window.
Gideons "Tactical" is a flaming moron.

Interesting knife

Still not a fan of the handle and those screws, I just don't like the way they look.
I would definitely love to see a version with a different grip.

Make a tough as nails D2 Sykes Fairbain commando knife and a D2 US Army M3 combat knife.

My new USMC Vietnam commemorative won't go all the way into it's leather sheath.
