Apache Junction Hiking

Our Texas friend, Gail, was in Phoenix for a weekend, so, Jolene and I drove up from Tucson to spend some time with her. We enjoyed a desert trail sunset, a sunrise over the Superstition Mountains, and then a scenic hike on the Massacre Grounds Trail. The weather was perfect, the scenery spectacular, and the time spent with Gail was enjoyable. Jolene and I enjoyed this scenic area so much that we're planning to return for an extended stay next winter.
