- In this video I show you how I constructed and painted my own custom Mordheim Terrain. Using XPS foam and some 3D Printed gravestones I made these neat elevated graveyards that will work great with games of Mordheim, Frostgrave, Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer!

Love the vibrant use of color! Would have never thought of something in that vein.
Thanks for watching!
Nice work, tho for anyone who doesnt know - Dried coffee grounds, tea leaves, sand and actual dirt all make a good mix for 'dirt', small dead shrubs and other plants make great gnarled dead trees, many seed pods look kinda strange and funky down at 28mm as well, not to mention the 'leaves' sold in tiny pots are just Birch seeds, that can be tinted with wash solutions at home. A good rust effect can also be found by using...rust! Chuck some old rusty bits of metal into a tub, shake it around from time to time and use all the rusty dust as pigment. Hope some of that is useful to someone!
I will try that! Thanks for the tips-
@@legendarytabletop No prob, now is the time of year to stock up on a lot of these things, anything that comes free in this hobby is a bonus!
the color scheme on these looks amazing!
thanks!
I got mad respect for you folks who craft terrain from foam and other such mediums. I do the lazy thing and 3d print everything. Nice work! I also dig the addition of some actual color on the table.
Thanks! nothing wrong with 3D printing either- just another tool in the toolbox
Definitely getting Castle Greyskull vibes from the rock colour scheme - love it!
I didn't think of that but I see it now for sure! great comparison!
@@legendarytabletop I'm planning to build a Castle Greyskull for my channel in the next six months or so, it's the only reason it's so fresh in my mind - I've been researching and mood-boarding it!
@@questsquills Great idea! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with brotha!
Looks fantastic, l love the paved circular landing/courtyard area.
LOVE the turquoise. I think I would have done the mausoleums themselves in grey though just so they stand out more but what cool ambience with the colors.
I found the video where you used my tombstone set! 😁
great scenery! kudos!
very cool! I'm gonna have to get my hands on more of your stuff!
Inspired now to produce something similar! Great video and good edits.
I could never buy those green stuff world autumn leaves because I'm afraid I'd dump them all over my pizza. This is the first of your videos I ever watched, by the way, and the way you used color made me look for more.
Nice work it reminds me of the cursed lair in lord of the rings where the dead live
nice ! also they could be the burial mounds from Rohan in the Two Towers
Love this build
Thanks Aaron!
These are great!
Thanks!
Nice work!
I'm doing this for Frostgrave! :) thanks
Very Cool! Would love to see the final product!
LOVE the colour scheme! Something about it makes me think of old-school photocopied zines, or doom/death metal album covers.. If you could work in some yellow and magenta, it would fit perfectly for Mork Borg!
Thanks! Love the descriptions/comparisons- Never thought of that but I see it now!
Shit's makin me want to do my own Mordheim stuff...
Do it!!! Try the devs and dice houses first- I have like 20 on my Mordheim table: th-cam.com/video/sXmbfp5NR70/w-d-xo.html
Hmmm... is your caulk, silicone, or siliconized latex caulk? There is a HUGE difference between the two. Silicone is extremely diff to work with, sticks to almost everything, and is a bitch to clean up. Siliconized latex caulk, on the other hand, is very easy to work with, and cleans up with water, as long as the caulk hasn't "set up". If you get it soon enough, cleaning up with water is a breeze, but if you let it set up too much, it's fairly permanent in clothing, and such.
I use the cheaper silicone/latex caulk- very little smell and cleans up with water
@@legendarytabletop That's what I thought it would be, after seeing it in your vid, and the comments you made about it's ease of use. =)
@@Rejoice1631 for sure- Sometimes if you let it set up for like an hour you can even sculpt it much like clay-
Synthwave anyone? 🥰
