I remember seeing you there, but dude, now there are about 20 to 30 cars there daily because of your shares on location. You know how small it is, and us locals can't even get a spot anymore 👍

Everytime I got there it’s either no one or a lot. Especially with the weather is warming up that place always is busy. Especially late spring and summer. And I really don’t go out there then.

Everyone knows that spot it does get packed especially on timing.. No different than trying to hunt public you have to learn to work around the pressure of people. Charles Mill near the dam is a hot spot, it's the dam location the most well known location at Charles Mill.

I finally went to this spot. I was eager to catch fish, but after several hours of trying, I looked left and right and nobody was catching anything. Guys were loading up their trunks, shaking their heads, and driving off in disappointment. I finally joined them. The bottom of the river is rocky and you will lose a lot of jigs here. The shore line is littered with very large rocks which makes it easy to twist your ankle or break a leg. I saw blood on one of the rocks and an abandoned pole. I can only imagine what may have happened.

I had thought that at first, and then saw a broken fishing rod next to the blood and wasn't certain.@@spddmn75ify

I had a nice little fishing spot with a small trail that led into a wooded bank. You could fish and build a campfire there. The Catfishing was excellent. Two years later, I came back to the same spot and they pulled all the structure out of the water, cut down the wooded area and turned it into a parking lot. The fishing was never the same again.

@@b.leefishing9989 You once could reel in Catfish all day long off the bank. I don't know how it is now. I'll be headed up that way when the weather improves to find out.

I just use jigs. I've been there days I've caught nothing and thrown everything. I've been there 40 plus( stop counting) saugeye catch days picking through to find a keeper or two for the dinner table. Theres one color that dominates for me with jigs to get those large catch days and its simple. Running in pairs a 1/4oz and an 1/8oz white head white tail. Any other combo and it turns into a 4 or 5 fish day
