Imagine being so egotistical to have to base your show off a book because your not talented enough to create, but then also think you're ideas are better and the book sucks.... I hope everything she makes flops. Let it humble her
"Imagine being so egotistical to have to base your show off a book because your not talented enough to create" That's bullshit. How many movies and series were based off of books because there was massive interest in the books, therefore massive interest in the movie? I for one loved that Peter Jackson brought Tolkien's Ring series to life through film. Not to mention the hundreds of other titles made into fantastic movies, series and mini series. How deluded must a person be to believe that television shows and movies must be created from original screenplays only?
I kinda felt weird after watching the season 3, because it looks so cheap the green background is so obvious they didn't even bother to blend the cgi's and background environment and colors properly.
Never hesitate , hesitation will attract danger to you like fire , Always trust the path you choose and it will keep you safe , even in darkness , as long as you listen " Always Listen " . Henry cavill !
reminds me of how Amazon is hacking away at the wheel of time. it's clear that writers aren't respecting the work of a lot of series that get adapted now. and I get that the writing strike was well on its way down the tracks. but it's a poor time for adaptations I'm afraid.
course corrected? He's right folks..if im running thos show and it's a hit, go to the table and do ur job! no bad mouthing, who cares what you don't like. this is a 100 episode at least show, and now it's dead. Dude cant be replaced.. hope hes CONNER MCCLOUD in the highlander!
It a shame Netflix fucked it all up. Nothing has been true to source other than Cavill. Triss Merigold is a prime example. She a pale porcelain skin woman in the stories and then she’s portrayed by a woman whose complexion is of African/possibly Hispanic origin. It’d be like casting Leo DiCaprio as Shaka Zulu. You wouldn’t cast a white guy as a black African king so why cast a black/Hispanic woman as a (white/Caucasian) witch. It’s just insulting because it’s like no one cares about historical accuracy or writers vision when it comes to dramatizing a story. It’s almost as fucked up as Robert Downey jr as a black guy in tropic thunder. Yes he received permission from several in the African community to do black face but thousands of others were actually offended. Netflix needs to get off the fake woke bullshit and go back to quality of the production.
Hemsworth might in fact be better. If Cavill was too focused on the books trying to go against the director, it's not a good outcome regardless of whether the show is accurate representation of the books or not. Ultimately the majority of the Netflix viewers won't have read the books, and certain things don't always translate well. And although I'm a fan of Cavill I've always found him dull and unengaging him as the Witcher.
Can't wait for S4 to start so I can boycott it 😅

you would THINK they'd stick close to the source material to reduce the amount of fuckups caused by scab/desperate workers
