Representing Canada here. And, yes, there have been times where I have very seriously questioned reality. Haha Personally, I relate to this song immensely. The numbness, disconnection from the person I used to be. Feeling like I'm only witnessing my life instead of living it. Not living in the moment. NF helps me to get it all back.
I think we all, as humans, tend to detach when things get crazy around us. This leads us to a point of autopilot, just floating along, until something happens, and we have to analyze where we are, where we want to go, but often we don't know.. we're paralyzed either by a lack of certainty or fear.

It's very simple and that makes it very difficult to understand for humans.... We are not our thoughts. We are the observer of our thoughts. Once you are able to seperate that difference, we are free... sadly... that sounds very simple but it is in fact the most difficult thing to comprehend for people... Since once you accept that truth... it raises the most terrifying question of all..... If I am not my thoughts..... then.... what and who am I??
