Since you got paintball, i reccomend trying to fully max it out. And i reccomend turning off unit switch to not press space everytime and to save some time.

Hey Matt, fellow TBB player here. I recommend that you get Speed Battler and Krip as Speed is great for rushing and can aid your battlers with meatshielding due to his fast speed and his good dps output. Krip is also good because he has good dps output for his cheap price. Also, if you get a unit to level 10 you can unlock their alternate form, which changes up a battler completely (besides the normal Battler). I'd recommend getting Battler and Trowel to level 10 first. Slinger Battler will help you with Bomb Rush to deal with Speed Battlers. Bomb Battler has base destroyer meaning he does 3x damage to bases.
Edit: Krip's description is referencing a closed game, Color Cruelty. There's a game called "Color Cruelty: Legacy" that's similar to the original Color Cruelty.

agreed, if you ended up getting gacha like goala battler, cola battler, prankster battler, wes, hobo battler and along with dupes..
sure they may be useful for specific stages but a beginner doesnt need them for and blowing all ur bricks is risky

i also played a lot of battle bricks so since youve helped me play battle cats, ill help you on battle bricks with some tips
read the almanac and description of units - unlike in battle cats, the almanac gives very good info on everything, even stats especially if that enemy isnt recruitable (this is a common noob mistake!)
take note of sound effects and design similarities - some things can be difficult to learn so try to note repeated sounds and designs, ill help a good bunch
always look at the enemy lineup - click on the ! (exclamation mark) on the top left of stages to look at the magnifications, enemies, their base and hazards (which can be clicked on for more detail!)

Yea this game gets really hard the chapter 3 boss sadly includes some rng elements... It isn't that bad on the 1st star tho ( If you beat this you basically unlock a 2nd star and later on a 3rd star which are basically difficulties for a chapter but they just give enemies more hp and damage)

basically 3 stars are like the harder enemies in each chapter in the battle cats (1 star is chap 1 for tbc, 2 star and so on) the only difference is that they have the same bossess and not different last bosses
Yo, Matt! Glad to see you’ve made this a series! Just a tip, but if you want to have your entire loadout on screen at once without needing to press Spacebar to switch between the two, you can go to settings to toggle that off. You can also use the number keys (1-8) to spawn the corresponding Battler for a given slot. Hope this helps!

Hey Matt, here's an advice, since you're just starting out, I really don't recommend you upgrading baller battler. Knockback doesn't matter that much early on in the game and his damage is bad. I recommend getting speed battler and krip. Speed is good for rushing and krip has alot of dps but he has to reload (unless you get him to his 2nd form)
And to defeat the bomb rush level, it's very easy, just but some meatshields in the front and spam slingshot battlers. Slingshot battler is the best early game dps imo. If you have a bunch of them stacked up you can easily clear stages.
Theres a daily reward system to get extra bricks, and subchapters are also helpful to get bricks.
Slinger battler is a quick dps thats pretty cheap, it has more dps than paintball. Consider using it if youre heavily rushed down early on in a stage.
Hey matt. Click on the logo alot of times. BUT. Do that at your own risk as it is a variation of enemies. It is VERY, VERY, HARD. I recommend to do that and then switch to other gamemodes EXCEPT for the gamemode you are gonna be FORCED to get when clicking the logo too many times.
Word of advice, upgrading the basic battlers to level 10 first is probably the best idea for early game because most of them have way cheaper upgrade prices than specials. Also if u haven't noticed already, every battler has the same stats formula from being upgraded (+20% of their base stats per level) so you get the same value out of upgrading any unit
Here are some tips for each battler you have currently
Normal
Battler: probably the easiest one to use, a spammable meat shield while not as tangy as regen.
Trowel: he is only able to place a wall if there is a free NPC unit space available.
Sword: due to the overall good stats he possesses, it’s best to replace him with battler in the late game of stages when you bank level is high enough. (This is from experience)
Slingshot: actual very viable if high enough level, he is cheap damage and can even surpass paintballer and speed’s dps if spammed and loved enough.
Baller: probably one of the worse units in the game, but his knockback and decent range can make up for the first chapter and the first sub chapter. (but brute force is usually a better strat)
Rocket: technically the first splash dmg unit you get, besides gravity, he is like a miniature canon and his alt form is said to just be a direct upgrade.
Special
Paintballer: upgrade him to lvl 10 to unlock his alt as that is where he truly shines, his base form isn’t as viable.
Speed: I’d say one of the best in the game for earlier stages and chapters, high speed and high dmg output can absolutely DECIMATE enemy units.
Regen: the best meat shield available for the earlier stages of a player’s time in this game, usually having 2 or 3 of these on the field should have you covered. (Isn’t viable if there are some splash damaging units on the enemy team, negating the stackability of regen)
Gravity: somehow a meat shield due to his ability to distract slower enemies and knock them back, don’t really suggest getting him though.
Krip: THE BEST early unit to get, if possible, GET HIM NOW! his alt can decimate anything if spammed, and his base form can already do that job. GET HIM AND MAX HIM!

Hey if your ever stuck and need and extra boost of exp you can always go to sub chapters and/or tumor mode, in wich you can unlock by spam clicking the purple gear when first entering the game

As a person who's pretty much advanced in the game, I'd recommend you to level up your units to level 10. That way you can unlock their secret alt forms and become way stronger!
Tips: Max battler, and do subchapters. Also, to get past bomb battlers you should've got speed for bait lol.

Also i recommend really to get those special units and banks always
hey matt i would recommend not getting gravity battler since later into the game enemies have more range and he would die pretty fast and speed battler is like an early game defense so you can upgrade your bank but i would also recommend levelling up paintballer as much as possible since you would want range a lot

Great vid! But i reccomend to ignore literally anyone that mentions about gacha ATLEAST until you beat chapter 1 cause gambling on the 1st chapter is a big mistake, try out new special battlers first before anything

You should get Speed Battler its a really good meatshield its cheap and fast if you upgrade him enough for hp and its a really good unit for xp grinding if your just beginner
Also when you get Paintball battler to level 10 you get Sniper Battler which has really long range
Bomb battler is really good when upgraded IF you beat Bomb Rush
If you upgrade Bomb battler to level 10 you will get kamikaze battler which will automatically explode on contact which does alot of damage
Also the wall that trowel battlers build counts as a NPC

Project Awakening is the MSM of Roblox, which would definitely add to this series of playing roblox versions of other games. It’s just like MSM, even with a 3D Hub where you can play as Spurrit!
You should upgrade the base health, unlike in battle cats you can use your base to tank and upgrade your bank then just use your cannon to kill the stack before spamming your units to win, and also get a different cannon because the basic sucks, I would recommend gating or slammer once you beat chapter one, you can also beat chapter one on three stars to get an exclusive unit that deals extra damage to the enemies in the next chapter, to unlock the stars you have to beat the chapter on the last stars, also speed battler is the best out of the coils
Hey matt, i just started playing the game and i followed along with u and i found out an easy strategy to counter to the bomb, if u use the dodgeballer it will knock him back so it will reset his bomb counter. But how i dealt with the first rush was using someone i got from spinning the banner u should too! I got ice battler which slows em and does good dmg. Hope this helps! ❤
If you see comments telling you to use the gacha system, absolutely DO NOT you need the bricks for special units, banks, and bases, which all also cost bricks. These are way more important the vast majority of gacha units, so you shouldn't even touch the gacha system until atleast after chapter 1

Matt, I recommend to use slinger battler. He has very high DPS, if upgraded, and is good for early game.

And i can tell you, to destroy those speed battlers you could spam battlers and slinger battlers, they make a good combo!
But You need BOTH Ranged AND meatshields, upgrade your Basic Battlers.
They migth be weak but i use them A LOT because they are very spammable
Click that purple gear as fast as you can before it disappears it will give you tumore mode which the enemies are stronger and have different forms I recommend it if you have better troops or beat a chapter

Remember to buy things when you actually want them (save up for krip he's good, or just take the speed battler instead becuz he good for the the stage 20)

Hey mattshea, there are also subchapters which give an alright amount of bricks upon completing it, you could try the subchapter called “the battle bricks: classic” which isn’t really that hard (just watch out for the last enemy it shows, which is at the 4th stage) however it’s kinda short, also if you complete it you will see some short of star thing, if you click it you’ll be able to redo it all but with 50% stronger enemies and units are 50% more expensive, on 3 stars it will be doubled instead of 50% more, also if you complete a whole chapter on the third star you’ll gain the lil version of the final boss of the chapter

And you can return to the main menu and select sub chapters, you also can see the enemies in the stage by the ⚠️

Some Tips I think,
> Getting Krip and getting it to lvl 10 makes it a reliable and usually the best DPS unit, will occasionally get swapped for Vulcan ( A gacha alternative form unit of Expo ) & Celebration Battler ( Alt form of Birthday Battler )
> If you do Sub Chapter's and specifically Birthday Bash, you can get the Birthday battler, which is useless until you get its alt form which is the Celebration Battler, which is basically a side grade of Alt Form Krip, more dmg a hit, less firerate less dps more range, more cost and a trip/stun effect on hit
> The Alternative Form of Paintball gives them a longer range and armor piercing, good against a certain enemy you will find with armor and during higher stars/difficulty
> Spam Clicking the Purple Cog/Logo during the Loading screen will give you a Endgame Difficulty
> This game eventually requires XP Grinding as well, for your stage of the game so I recommend grinding out Lvl 11, aka the Battler Spamming stage using speed battler, or do Sub Chapters
> At Stage 25 you get the Tank, a reliable unit that in its alt form heals after every successful swing
> The Paintballer unit is a okay unit but its Alt form is pretty good due to having more range and armor piercing, which is good for a enemy during later stages or higher stars/difficulty
> You can remove switching through Unit bars by disabling it in the settings
> Instead of checking the Almanac, you can check the ? Icon during the Stage Selection for enemies stats, the stages stat multiplier, the unit cap of the stage and the enemy's base HP, or do both
> Speed Battler is a good unit for both meatshielding ( for Melee Bosses ) and XP grinding
> Leveling up Bank Income and Unit Recharge is probably the best base upgrades you can get right now
> The Slinger Unit Alt form is the stunner battler, which gives up half its DPS for a stun that can be chained with other stunners, will not work on Titan's
> Every Main Chapter you beat gives you 5 more Max Lvls for Units and 2 more for Base Upgrades
Some of my thoughts of some units
> Gravity is horrendous from seeing enemies with the alt and base forms while at 3 stars, didnt buy it
> Regen is a good meatshield because its like eraser and tanking multiple hits from bosses even
> Sword is actually a situational meatshield thats decent when alt form'ed unlike axe/dark cat from TBC
> The Builder Unit/Trowel Evo is a good side grade because it can get 6x unit hp as a wall but needs time to build
> The Gacha is a really hit or miss, the rares are not that great even with lvl 25 the supers are a mix of really good and mid and the ubers are obviously really good
I hope these tips could help or could be seen I think im late into the game ( Post 3 star non cleared 30 tumore chap 1 and 3 star standard on 2 and 1 star chap 3 )

Mattpat in chapters and spicel stages give bricks only in 5 level each even boss fights but once obtained you cant get it ao its bets getting your daily/streak to get bricks also each battler only have second form cause the devs said it would be harder for 3 phase so each battler stays in secons form also to get new battlers go to cards in shop and you have to buy 100 bricks to unlock rare, super rare, Uber rare units and they well be free when unlocked also its best to grind xp for your base and battlers
Also max level is 10 for battlers and once again soon more chapters we'll be coming but once you defeat the final boss you see star on top once clicking it you well have to repeat and fight ever level again but better xp and you get bricks but enemies and bosses have more health and damage as for 3 Star I hope you well be ready once 3 Star

I suggest you do one of the subchapters since I think you have 3 of them unlocked and if so do the classic then birthday bash since their pretty much free bricks!
damn this is so good to watch, i'm playing battle bricks myself and i'm experienced, you can play subchapters so you can get more bricks and xp and some of them gives new special battlers, and you could also upgrade trowel battle to lvl 10 so he'll build walls with 6x of his health or trying to upgrade regen battler so he can survive more attacks from enemies
Ok a good way to get bricks early is sub chapters they give you bricks and have unique enemies and challenges also go to setting you can change your deck loadout to instead of having to flick up to simply have all 8 slots also the reason bomb battler did so much damage to your base it's a secret stat called base destroyer where he does like 5X damage if he hits your base for that level upgrade battler and slingshot plus sword those will tremendously help you take that level down and next up get speed battler you will want him for the next boss which I won't spoil that's my advice and I've beaten all chapters max multipliers and tumore which you unlock by span clicking the tumore logo while loading in that's all bye!
Matt, please prioritize base upgrades because it would make the later stages more easier for you
To counter that level you're stuck on, upgrading base hp to survive bomb battler can help a lot, upgrading your eco to be able to afford more paintballs would work as well. Awesome video man don't loose hope pretty much everyone struggles on that level
Tips:
1. Once you level up any battlers into level 10, it unlocks their alt forms with a rebalanced stats like sword battler alt form having double damage and more range but attacks three times slower and some are better overall than their normal form but cost more to spawn
2. I don't know if you tried or if someone already told you but when you join, you can spam click the tumore logo(The gear logo) and it unlocks a new and a really hard mode as it buffs doubles the enemies and turns it into their alt forms however it acts like a savefile so you can rebeat a boss level and special level which can give you more bricks
3. Once you got enough brick I highly recommends you to buy Krip, he's like a dps battler for doing immensely 5 damage per 10th of a second which is literally 50 dps at base level. Though keep in mind he's weak from explosion because of his small range but if you managed to unlock his alt form, he has more range to survive even longer although having less dps. Keep in mind the dps aren't counting to the reloading so he may deal less dps if you count it
4. Even if unlocking battlers alt forms are tempting, try to upgrade banks more but still upgrade the battlers if you had leftover exp
Word of advice, on the menu, you can use the streak to get a certain number of bricks daily. If you want to have your whole loadout on screen, you can also use the settings to toggle that on, you can also use number keys to send out battlers. Also try to get speed battler and krip as speed is a great meatsheild and krip has high DPS. Some things that are usful to know is that every battler has a alt form when you level them up to level 10 and by clicking on the purple gear on the loading screen a lot of times you can unlock tumore mode which every enemy battler is its alt form. Hope this helps!
You need to buy 999 bricks And buy all the different types of units Also Use XP to fully upgrade all your units to max level In the battle Bricks game.
This video made me chuckles on how you encounter bomb batter.
If you have any chance on doing more in future videos, I recommend trying some *sub chapter* to get some bricks there.
For me I used them bricks to see if I could get any battlers from the gacha cards to see if they could do stuff.
Since you have beaten stage 5, 10, and 15, you have unlocked 3 NEW subchapters. The classic subchapter and the birthday bash subchapters are very useful for tbb begginers like you! Coil chaos is tougher and it is recommended to start making progress on coil chaos once you have beaten stage 20 or 25.

u can just grind EXP or BRICKS from Subchapters, they're better than retrying the same old stages you already played since reattempting the same stages gives less XP and no Bricks
most subchapters are locked behind stage completion requirements like you have to complete Four of a Kind (5th stage of Chapter 1) to play The Battle Brick: Classic subchapter

hey matt, i know im a day late but heres a simple yet efective tip, you can use the numbers (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 respectively) to summon units instead of pressing space and clicking on them, its a much faster and effective way to do it
Hey Mattshea, i recommend you grind on smaller stages that you can easily clear for XP to level up your units for other levels!
Battlers I would recommend getting with bricks are speed and krip, speed is basically like cow cat and is great for speed running and krip battler is VERY good at later levels, hope this helps!
I recommend maxxing meatshields (battler, sword battler, speed battler, trowel battler) then you could go after upgrading your backline battlers (paintball battler, grenade battler, rocket battler) while upgrading your npc limit, base income, bank limit. It's a strat i usually do when i try other battle brick fangames and the game it self and its very effective
As a battle bricks player here is some advice, two that you are gonna NEED are speed and Krip as krips alt form has the highest dps in the game (I think) and speed is very good for a fast meat shield to protect your backliners is your wall of troops die, you will also eventually need regen for a certain boss but I won’t spoil :) gravity could be good maybe but is generally recommended to be the last one that you get as you will probably be fine without him
since I have almost everything in the game matt I think you should go for Bank income and unit recharge since you can deploy units way faster and the bank income will help you if you're struggling with cash as for units, I honestly think you should try to grind and max out Both battler and trowel they are very good meat shields and Cheap and really quick cooldown like regular cat and Tank cat from the battle cats. but its your playthrough so your choice to do with your Xp and bricks love your vids matt👍
Matt, if you have like 100+ bricks after unlocking a special unit, try the gacha.
Most special battlers cost 100-150, but most battlers of the final stage of a chapter cost 200 bricks.
Also there is a secret mode, i recommend you find out how to get it after chapter 1.
17:19 You should use rocket to deal with the group of speed battlers since he’s your only unit that has area attack, after simply try to trigger the bomb enemy far enough from your base
You should save for all of the special battlers, base types and bank types. they're all pretty good and can help alot on later stages
Matt, the baller might be better then paintballer
Baller is cheaper, more hp, more dmg, attacks faster and moves faster
Paintballer just has a bit more range
I reccomend pressing streak and getting your daily bricks.Also buy krip and speed
They help me advance to lvl 30

Also, you should focus on maxing out builder battler and regen battler, meat shielding is very important in this game.

If you ever need any bricks you should try out sub-chapters, you can get a good amount of them from those, and remember to check the streak section to get bricks daily.
i would recommend keeping sword battler in your arsenal. he usually does pretty good at tanking and damaging the speed battlers at this part of the game. also I'm sure almost every comment has said this, but if you get any unit to level 10 then you unlock an alt form for them. alt forms are like the original tower but with a twist on their stats (except for battler)

there are sub chapters that will also give bricks. saving up for krip and collecting daily rewards are good ways to advance there are also cards which are just gachas
Hello mat, i’d like to give you a few tips for the game (Proud Tumored Battler (Chapter 1 3 star tumore mode reward.) owner here.)
1. After you beat at least chapter 3 1 star, when loading in the game, tap the gear repeatedly, and you’ll unlock tumore mode, but please. Be prepared, it’s extremely hard.
2. I heavily recommend only doing gacha AFTER chapter 1, 1 star, as units like krip and titan are obtainable for free and are still some of the best units in the game, mainly because titan being the ultimate tank, and krip (More preferably, his alt form, Mafia krip.) Having extremely good dps, and is useful for chapter 2.
3. Upgrading your base is also important, not to mention being able to get them very easily, especially since their chapter locked, and 1 star chapters are usually EZ!
4. You can actually choose with Gacha banners you want, but specific ones cost 200 bricks to roll, while the OG one costs only 100 bricks to roll.
5. Every time the game updates, the entire day, ubers have double the chance, 5% -> 10% basically.
6. Spending robux on the game (Mainly for EXP.) Is heavily non-recommended, but if theres uberfest, and you’re getting to mid game - end game of non-tumore mode, you can use robux to get bricks, though, you can just use the daily login system.
7. Some enemies and units have the battle bricks equivalent of “Base destroyer.”, where they have extra damage against the base and so.
8: There are still traits, if your unit is an anti-trait, they will have more damage against that trait, and less damage taken by said trait, aka, the Strong equivalent of the battle bricks, but sadly, thats the only thing anti-trait does, status effects are ignored by resistance however.

Well krip is a good unit for both traitless and red, even if not as good for black, not to mention that most traits do appear in future chapters, even in minor roles.

Recommend trying to get early economy and babk upgrades for faster spawning. Upgrading battler is SUPER cheap so u can get him go level 10 for a suprise!
Anyway to beat bomb rush spam battlers and spawn a trowel along with a paintball when ur spawning battlers to kill them. Keeping them near the base kills your run. So act quick since bomb battler has alot of hp for a new player to face against.

Just a tip in the early game in chapter 1, Use sword battler, it has more damage than battler and faster attack speed.

Matt, you should get krip and speed as your next unlocks. Gravity Battler isn’t very useful, even on slow attacking enemies as they are usually backed up by something that can hit him.
Also, you should try using slingers more, his dps is actually pretty good.

Don't worry, the game will give you alot of bricks for beating modes and side modes, just don't waste them all in card packs before getting the brick unlockables.
Also fun fact: Most of the units/enemyies use real roblox items like the coils (speed battler has a speed coil, regen has the regen coil, even their alts.)
Hey Matt, if you spam click on that purple gear in the loading screen you can unlock a special difficulty with more challenges and rewards
