That's why people shouldn't break into any house. You never know who's home it is... But probably in this case, because Rottis are very protective and territorial and the owner is not there and gives command, there's a good chance the intruder could be torn apart. On the one hand it's karma on the other hand it's raw brutality.

I have been in love with Rotties ever since Over The Hedge. That big puppy saying "PLAY!" over and over again just gives me an insight into their personality. They are just big, lovable, goofballs with tons of love to give. These guys are showing that true Rottie spirit, especially the little one
I used to be neighbors with a giant Rotweiler dog, he was one of the friendliest dogs I ever met he used to put his front paws on top of the fence so we could pet him and he would just hang out with us until his owner called him. This was about 30yrs ago poor guy isn’t around anymore. Used to go in the back yard just to say hi to him. All Rottweilers remind me of that dog, they are such amazing dogs.
Love when they are puppies and even more when they are fully grown - lovely dogs and a wonderful breed - they look very happy

We adopted a rottie a long time ago when I was small from this lady who said she bred rotties, we but had to pick which one we wanted while they were still really small newborns. When we were finally able to take ours home her tail was docked, something she told us she was NOT going to have done My parents were furious and apparently communicated on Facebook with the others adopting families and there was this huge back and forth finding out this lady not actually a breeder, just was holding the dogs for a friend who never came back to get them and then they were never fixed and one pup had issues due to an infection that formed because it was HER who performed the docking and it was just a huge mess that apparently led to a day to real charges being made. I imagine for animal abuse. Luckily our rotten rottie was just fine and spoiled.

They remind me of my old rotty and he was a sweetheart. He passed away December 20, 2021. In a way he was my emotional support dog because I have anxiety over everything. I’ll always love him ❤

I'm so sorry...sucks that tey don't live that long! Same with Great Danes...that was my very 1st dog! Sooo goofy! I was dog sitting for a guy with a Chihuahua, which I've never been fond of, but this little fully grown 7lb. 1oz. cutie is black & tan, not nervous or yappy! Such a fun, loving, smart doggie! I can't believe how smart. But they moved away & I have depression & anxiety & wow, it's come back with a vengeance! I didn't realize how much the little guy helped me! So I know how you feel! I hope you can get another dog soon! Wish I could, but it costs around $1,000/year for their shots & preventative meds & I'm on disability & just can't afford it. 😢 You take care! ☺️

As a decades long Rottie mom, I have to say, there is nothing cuter than a Rottweiler puppy. Nothing except my kids as babies. Even they don't believe I thought they were as cute as our Rotties, but they love them too. As adults they always tease us that they always knew the Rotties come first. 🤣

Rottweilers are the best friend of the babys I use to watch. Billy was under a year old when I started watching children. I had an 8 month old and 3 others from 1 year old and two 3 years old. Billy would let them crawl on him and pull his ears. I did teach the little ones not to hit or pull his ears. Don't get me started about HIS kitten, that Billy brought home from the back yard. When I called him to come in I could see he had something white in his mouth. I waited for him at the door, he approached the back door head down. He had a kitten that could not have been over a week old. When I said Billy what do you have there. He nudged me to get in before I could get a better look at the white fur ball he walked over to his bed got in then put the kitten down between his chest and legs. He looked up at me with that beautiful face of his as if to say it's mine. I miss Billy very much! Your fur babies are beautiful. God bless all of you.

I got to pet my first Rottweiler today, I was surprised by how big they are. No wonder people are intimidated by them. His name was ponya. He was such a teddy bear. The guy kept thanking me for petting him and not trying to run away from him.
