Lol, this was not that fun to cover for me. While I have a sense of accomplishment for completing it, I never want to play it again. 😂 Same goes for The Struggle Within. Start with the drums in saying that for me, this is without a doubt my favorite upload from you. Your energy is infectious and you are tight as can fucking be. Pushing the tempo exactly the way it's supposed to be pushed. All of your accents and pushes are just dialed in (the 2:32 section is beauty) But dude, the mix is outerworldly. I cannot get over that aspect of all this. It's as though Bob Rock is in the damn room with you Bryan. Fucking great
😂🤣😂🤣 My energy? LOL. Man, this song was drying my mouth out because of my breathing. I have no technique for drumming fast; that's for sure! I originally thought this song was going to be the hardest to cover on the album but in fact it's the very last song. I struggled so mightly with that one I hope I don't get shamed for it. 😣 Like I said before, I am really proud of the Superior Drummer 3 preset I made and next week, you get to hear a little percussion at the beginning; some marching snare, claves, and tambourine..although I had to do some modifying of it in post production. As always Trey, a huuuuuuuuge thank you for all the support and the amazing comments on EVERY cover!

Oh come on now! 🤣 We all know the songs on the Black Album are simplistic for the most part. But I tell you, Lars made some real tasty drum fills in many songs that can't be denied are great. Granted this song doesn't feature a single one of them but the next few certainly do and I had my work cut out with those. Thanks for the support & comment Bill!

I understand what you are saying. Unfortunately, I released these drum covers before Moises.ai became really popular and this song still has the original song in the background. So to make my drum track stand out a little more, they have to be a tad bit louder. I have toyed with the idea of re-releasing this project without the original drums in the background but not sure it's really worth the effort. If TH-cam would let me replace the video and retain the comments/viewer count, I would do that! Hey, thanks for taking the time to comment!
