One of the more underrated NCGs of the past few decades. Oregon played good defense, but if Auburn hadn’t been so conservative with Cam I think we could’ve run away with this game. Too bad he was a little banged up. War Eagle!
First play of the game is so funny. Thomas could've easily dove for the first instead he pitches it backwards and they only gain 2 yards 💀. Ofc they end up going 3 and out
Auburn was the better team, defensively they held one of the most explosive offenses in the country to 19 points, they were averaging 47 points per game that year. However, I got say Oregon's play calling did them zero favors later into the game.
This is definitely one of the best championships games Oregon killed their self when dyer didn’t go down all the way if that didn’t happen I believe it might of went to overtime Auburn probably still winning but for sure would of been the better ending
Okay I just watched this and the full game, Cam really doesn’t deserve much of the credit for this win, Auburn played some great situational football and Oregon did not. Lol
