Cleopatra Beach is one of the main natural attractions of the resort Alanya. This picturesque part of the Mediterranean coast has a beautiful legend, according to which the beach was given to the Egyptian queen by the ancient Roman commander Mark Antony, who was in love with her.
The sand on the beach is fine and light, and does not get too warm even on hot days. The water, thanks to sand of this quality, always remains clear.
There is a gentle entrance to the water almost everywhere, but a gradual increase in depth persists only for a few meters, and then there is a strong slope.
Cleopatra Beach Alanya has an undeniable advantage - it is the incredible beauty of nature. It is surrounded by mountains on the land side and if you look at the city from the sea, you will see beautiful panoramas of picturesque mountain ranges surrounded by green trees. The Alanya Fortress stands majestically on one of the hills.
