MJ, it was so great meeting you in person! I hope you enjoyed your Japan trip and that we can meet again somewhere :)
Really nice meeting you buddy! I'm sure we will see each other again someday :)
Beautiful mate! Thanks for sharing so well. x
Thanks George!
Best tour of the ADA gallery that I've seen. The scapes speak for themselves but I definitely paused to read every description. This is a video I will refer back to for inspiration on every aquarium I make going forward for years. Thank you, MJ!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I appreciate the opportunity to live vicariously through you. So beautiful, thank you.
I've seen many ADA full tour but this one ... I'm speechless. Why those tanks are so different ?? Why is it so lush, so natural, so perfect ? Someone has to crack the secret for us. Even the top 10 IAPLC are not that perfect !
Thank you MJ for this awesome tour. I have to plan my trip to Japan.
My thoughts exactly! Nobody else comes even close to this level...
Wow, some beautiful tanks! I've been in a bit of a slump lately but seeing all these incredible aquascapes has me feeling excited again, thanks MJ.
This is one of my biggest dreams, to go to ADA. The Layouts are fantastic, I love how they don't plant the stemplants in groups, but mix them. This gives a much lighter look.
Wow, you went to Japan and it is like Mecca. Good for you and thanks for the tour.
Thanks for taking us with you on a tour, the tanks are amazing
mj and ryo on the same channel! 2 of my favorites aquascapers!!
Really nice. Thank you for shearing. You're very lucky to have the opportunity to visit the ADA gallery.
Stunning tanks! Thanks for tour.
I have been waiting for this video for a long time
I remember one of your videos spwhen you said it was a dream for you to tour there, you made it! Congrats and great video!
Same! Just watched that recently so it was cool to see this! Dude’s dream came true
You can't beat the original!
Amazing naturescapes!
Great video !
Thanks for sharing mate.
An unbelievable gallery that I feel more connected to from your video.
It’s great to see all the tanks in situ and get a feel for the overall gallery layout.
I love seeing the groups of identical size and system set ups alongside each other, particularly the continuity of the 60p tanks on cube cabinet clear stands, that makes for a really incredible display of order and yet each aquascape within the glass walls is unique 😎
Everything looks so vibrant and flawlessly executed, the variety of styles and fish is a real feast for the senses.
Once again, thanks for sharing, I love the way you put these videos together 🙌🏻
thật tuyệt cảm ơn bạn đã mang thước phim tuyệt đẹp này cho mọi người yêu thích những bể cá .tôi sẽ dựa trên những mẫu này để làm cho mình 1 cái.
Every single one of those scapes is like looking into a dream!
We would like to see mj doing aquascape on big tanks like this ❤
Thanks for going through each tank one by one and listing the plants. Very helpful! Would be a dream to visit their showroom one day!
Wow, it’s like you traveled to Amano Mecca. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for sharing, always inspiring to see these aquariums.
What an amazing trip you are having. Aquarium paradise.
It really is!
Thanks for taking us with you. ❤
Thank you for posting this footage from the best Aquascaping company in the world 💪👌
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing and the great quality! :)
Great tour! Interesting to see that the industry is moving towards inline CO2 injection and/or CO2 reactors, yet ADA is still using regular CO2 diffusers even on their long 180p tanks. It most certainly looks like they can achieve great results with those too.
i really need to visit the gallery when I come to visit japan
So beautiful !
Appreciate the background on so the scapes. Even though I was there in person I still need about the scapes afterwards don’t you 🙏
Oauu! Beautifull!
Homage to Amano Takashi! 🙏
I feel a little better about my eye for what is good now. I had picked the same favourite tank out of the five which you chose.
The barbs which you didn't know the name of are roseline barbs. To get ones of that colour is very difficult because you end up getting some which are born without eyes, so small eyes, and some with other physical defects, plus some which are born with the dull natural colours.
amazing!!! when i went to japan it was closed unfortantely! so cool to see you made it!
and holy moly you met the famous people
Magnifique il sont vraiment fort dans leurs disciplines moi je suis fan de seux qu'ils font 😊
HI MJ, pls make another mini shallow tank. your shallow tanks are stunning........🤗
Coming soon!
Yeahhh new video ❤🎉
That looked sooooo Nice 😮💨🤯😳
Thanks for sharing. Inspiring.
Very nice❤
Great Video. Thank you for sharing it. 👊🏻
Wow that looks really nice , question is there a reason that almost all scapes even the larger ones use in tank co2 diffusers instead of inline diffusers?
Or Yugang reactor 😉
I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s for aesthetic
1. Less chance of leaks and maintenance.
2. Others myself included in Mr. Tekashi believed that having the micro CO2 bubbles rubbing against the leaves improved plant health
Awesome video thanks MJ! 👍 Wish to be able to visit the ADA Gallery.
Tank heaven
Nice video & content
Wow another amazing video. I have to watch this couple of times to absorb the beauty .
Just have 2 question- Are the diffusers Neo ? and do they use RO or tap water for the aquariums?
Hakkai stone my top 1 hardscape! Hope you copped some from your trip to japan.
Its hereeeee!!!!
Oh man this episode deserves to be followed in portions... its too overwhelming to watch in one pease! Thank you thank you!
Hello MJ,
Finally it’s out thanks for the amazing video 0:29
The list of plants at 0:29 I think is not the aponogeton rigidifolius rather it’s the Cryptocorene Balanse
I just copied the information from the ADA website ;)
@ maybe I got it wrong 😓😅😃
wow amazing
Hi MJ, great tour of the gallery, really captured its essence of beauty and nature, just wanted to ask is the gallery open throughout the year? And how can the public access this gallery? Thank you!
Türkçe için çok teşekkür eder , başarılarının devamını dilerim .
danggg i wish i could be there! Anyway brother, i am curious about something. Have you tried injectict the same amount of CO2 to two different tank, one with heavily planted, high light and enough fertilizer vs other tank with barely plants or slow grower plant and how it affect CO2 saturation by seeing the color of drop checker? i'd really love to see that if u had plan to make that experiment
Meta Frame aquariums are back from the 60's!
Nice gallery
amazing tour, this gallery is heaven on earth! your living the dream bro, what was your favorite aquarium there?
Oh man It's hard to choose just one... Maybe the very first one? The big one at the entrance made by Amano
@@MJAquascaping Yeah the one made by the master himself ;)
Question: Did you use an Polarisation Filter on your camera equipment? Because there is still a lot of mirroring and flairs on the video.
No I didn't use any filter
Please try it, you gonna love it and there will be no more flairs, even if you have sun or bright lights from the back!
@ nice! I’m gonna look into it
The plant growth they achieve is after how many months ?
As for the super clear water surface without the use of scimmers let me add one thing simply derived from observation: my nano without any livestock (no fish, no shrimp, no snails, no substrate, no food, just a couple drops of ferilizers ML1+2 plus ML Carbo daily for the moss and Limnobium) develops oil films also. I am pretty sure that the microorganisms living inside the filter media are causing these films. After cleaning the media (foam and Seachem Matrix) the film stays away for a while before it slowly returns. Therfore I take the oil formation as a sign that the filter media needs to be cleaned again.
nice
how do they keep the hygrophila so small in that iwagumi scape.
cool
They're fans of the cardinal tetra :)
1:08 Is that Aegagropila linnaei or some kind moss on the stones? It looks fantastic
Yeah some kind of moss, but which one😂
Why would a high end place like this use diffusers and not reactors or in-line diffusers??
I think mostly because of aesthetics, and they sell diffusers, but they don't sell reactors/ in-line diffusers
@@MJAquascaping Ohh okay, that makes sense now. I've always wondered that about this place but you solved the mystery. Love your channel!
I think the fish you forgot the name of are Snakeskin or Rhombo Barbs (Desmopuntius rhomboocellatus). All the color and more of a Tiger Barb without the nippiness.
Thought it was a gerrman blue ram
What kind of lense do you use for the close up shots of fish?
Sony 90mm
Is their gallery open? Google says they are only open Sundays but their website says the gallery isn't open at all
Nah only open for events unfortunately
Do these tanks have heaters? I don't see any. How does this work?
Either use heaters in the sumps or filters, or just heat the whole room.
I would bet on heaters built into canister filters. The room doesn't appear to be too warm. Folks wear jackets and sweaters.
@@peaoat3608 Too inefficient. Most likely a temperature controlled room and at 22-26C. It's getting really cold in Japan right now so people will be wearing thicker clothing but you can still see several people in lighter clothes in the video.
The tanks don't have heaters, but the room is definitely heated
what gear u use?
Sony A7IV
Where in Japan is this?
Niigata
that beautiful cichlid is a German ram 😅
surprised how even in 2024, the ADA gallery uses the cold white lighting spectrum.... all green and no focus on reds.
❤😊🎉
Japanese people take everything to perfection
Ramirezi? 😂 You tried to breed them in your tank mate 😂
German blue rams 😂 That's what I was looking for 😅
Impossible zero alghe!!!!
Nice. But very overpriced.
Some day I hope to get here. Thanks for sharing!
cool
