Those guys at Melda know what they do. Highly underrated plugin provider.

Because they're insisting on keeping the hideous interface. Great ideas - terrible UX

@@modernistmixing I really like their user interface. I work with their plugins for years now.

You turned me on to this reverb, I bought it and will not look back, it sounds brilliant, better than anything I had heard before.
Thank you for the hint and content

That's an incredible set of parameters to control the reverb.

Thanks so much, Mark, for this great discovery. I love your channel, and you always point us towards really inspiring and tasty plugins. I've been using Reverberate as my go-to reverb of late, which I really love, but it's a bit daunting and overwhelming. It can sound great but it's not very easy to use. I just tried this Melda reverb on a sax track I'm working on using the Film Orchestra on the Dark Nite setting and it gave me that immediate film noire smoky sound I was looking for. With just a few parameter adjustments - and a Reaper ducking trick on the Dry/Wet knob - it was pretty much ready to go right out of the box. A very elegant and musical sound. When dealing with real instruments it can be very hard to find reverbs that sound real, in terms of interaction between the instrument and the space. This one is definitely staying at the top of my toolbox now. I might dip into their delay plugin as well, if it's the same quality and ease as this one. Cheers!

I use it for the small rooms, I often have it subtly on mix bus to glue everything into a single space.

You're like me, i've always used front-to-back depth has the barometer of whether a reverb is good or not, so you got my attention right from the start. Ok i gotta go demo this plugin now. Thanks!
Have you tested out the MTurboComp yet?

A reverb that gets the job done on rock and pop every time is UAD SoundCity. It literally sounds like you are at those studios without even using re-mic mode.

There is also an LE version for 75$ on regular sales and the free MCharmVerb based on the MTurboReverb engine.

I am using Valhalla Reverbs and do have difficulties getting a 3D impression (using 3tiered reverb setup, front, mid, back).
I am wondering if the difference is in the algorithms rather than my settings. If you want to share it, I would really be interested about your wisdom. Really like your content

I'm not sure what this reverb could give me that the others do not.
I don't think I will ever master its complexity nor read the 182 pages manual. And I think that complexity is also the reason for the very high price, so it feels like wasted money for my needs, and very hard to justify.
But I'm also not sure if it can do better real spaces than Inspirata or more lush reverbs than the great character plugins already out there or better plates than the other dedicated plate plugins.
Perhaps I'm wrong, but it feels like a jack of all trades that can be of real true benefit to the sound designer who is willing to spend enormous amounts of hours to master it.

I think it sounds OK. Not really ground breaking or anything special but that just an opinion from one guy on the internet.
