All it took was *THE COOL AIR* and I knew it was all going to be okay. Kurt has been my favorite singer to listen to in terms of vocal growth. Sounded amazing here. This is my favorite part.
saw this show in memphis and it was probably the greatest experience of my life getting to see all three DGD vocalist in one night and on the same the stage.

+LouderThanQuiet They're pretty much selling out. So Kurt left. Sad to see such a great band turn away from who they really are for money. I hope Corey leaves and starts another band with Kurt.
For real people are so blinded by mainstream genres like rap and R&B, which don’t get me wrong I love those genres, I listen to all genres but my love will always be for rock and metal, people are sleeping on music like this like if this had mainstream attention this song would have so many awards on its belt, this is such a cinematic masterpiece and never gets old, it’s criminal that people over look rock and metal for the screaming and “loud noises” of the instruments but if they actually took the time to sit and actually listen to it a few times they’d understand why rock is loved so much especially when you look into the lyrics in fact the whole story on the album this song is just beautiful and sad like anyone would feel for the lyrics if they read them but would judge the actual music without taking time to sit and actual listen to it
+paintthetwndead try living in Australia brother. Im having to book flights to the US to see these dudes live. At least you dont have so far to come (pun intended.)
Great video, love your work, but your mixes are too focused on vocals, a lot like birds have some fantastic and intricate guitar work, and I can't hear it! I know how hard live mixes can be to work with., but please try and balance it.
+BVTV "Band of the Week" Ah ok then, thought you guys might have had a bit more to do with audio. You guys do a great job with the video, and the sound is mostly great, just needs to be more balanced I think. Not your fault though! Cheers for the explanation :)
+Jacob Bowden Thank you! :) Yeah, if the band uses a certain model soundboard I'm able to do multi-track recordings and have full control over the entire mix, but that isn't something that happens very often, unfortunately. Most of the time it's just a stereo output from the soundboard (the same audio you hear playing through the speakers at the venue), so however the sound guy mixes it is just what we have to work with, and for some reason the guitars are almost never as loud as they should be. I was actually able to increase the presence of the guitars significantly in this mix, but even with that they still weren't quite as loud as I'd like them to be.
I’m so confused, who is Kurt? The curly haired guy or the puffy straight haired guy? So may questions now. I thought Kurt was in A Lot Like Birds and now I’m just confused. Apparently Cory and Kurt were the same person I. My mind. My whole world has been fucked up cause they sound so much alike. Or they produced it that’s produced it that way on DIVISI and the other 2 albums. What the fuck?
kurt is the guy singing the clean vocals. corey is the one singing the unclean vocals. kurt's other work is also really good, i highly recommend checking it out
Dude put this band on hold to do a crowd funded solo project in the woods called alone, went way past schedule and puts himself and a random girl on the cover of ALONE then back stabs Kurt and hangs the band. LMAO
RIP A Lot Like Birds 2009-2018
Hello Royal Coda
😭😭
I'm not even bothered that it ended. What we got was priceless.
And we got to witness Kurt Travis ascend vocally by teaming up with Cory Lockwood. 🤘
Nah son
We're fuckin' back baby.
All it took was *THE COOL AIR* and I knew it was all going to be okay.
Kurt has been my favorite singer to listen to in terms of vocal growth. Sounded amazing here.
This is my favorite part.

It's weird knowing that this is there last show with Kurt in the band
I'm hoping he goes back with DGD, I feel like they'll get rid of Tilian sooner or later.
+Alex Murphy fuck no they have many albums with him left
Wait. Kurt left ALLB??? Man, I was waiting for a new album... At least I saw them on Warped Tour '14.. Still sucks tho...
EricaFlipped He should be writing music on his own, so it should be released a lot faster than with AALB
Giru I love Kurt's solo stuff

God damn.
Fuck Kurt slayed this. I miss this band (with Kurt) so much.
look at how Michael plays the guitar...
Kurt Travis! A bit of an acquired taste for me but he's one of my favourite vocalists now! What a unique texture he has to his voice
Bring back Kurt!!!
+LouderThanQuiet :(
+LouderThanQuiet They're pretty much selling out. So Kurt left. Sad to see such a great band turn away from who they really are for money. I hope Corey leaves and starts another band with Kurt.
+Jarmo133 not selling out, going in the direction THEY want to go, so, let's not say that. and yes i do know what i am talking about
going in a direction to appeal to a wider audience and sell more is kinda selling out.
you mean the direction Franzino wants to go
that bassline tho...
Great fucking video !!
the dude with redish hair sounds like Bert McCracken
sREUDIAN fLIP I think he meant Cory.
The fact that this music isnt on BillBoard Top 100 is proof this world is ass backwards...

The end will forever give me chills. Song makes me want a divorce so I can get back with my ex than break up with her to find a new wife.
Black Ledge, clever 😊
Did they get a new bassist?
ngl the intro scred me a bit as i thought they were gonna play hotline bling
Paul Smith ikrrr
Kurt Travis.
Jesus Christ do I love ALLB. Living is South Carolina sucks, no one fucking comes here haha.
+paintthetwndead try living in Australia brother. Im having to book flights to the US to see these dudes live. At least you dont have so far to come (pun intended.)
Dude, I live in South Carolina and I just saw them last month in Atlanta. Depending on which part you're in, it's not that far of a drive.
+Kage Lawrence I live in SC too, but about an hour away from Myrtle Beach, if bands don't come to HOB I don't get to see them pretty much lol.
It's the same here in North Carolina too, man. Unless you live in Raleigh and maybe Wilmington
Matthew Black it's becoming more charlotte nowadays
Does anyone know when their next album is coming out?
Not yet, just this year.
They start recording next month but kurt isn't in the band anymore
theonebuckethead Just found out about Kurt today, but I thought they already started recording :3
Kurt sounded amazing here man. This whole night they all killed it.
0:24 look at his eyes
Lol
Kurt pls ;(
Great video, love your work, but your mixes are too focused on vocals, a lot like birds have some fantastic and intricate guitar work, and I can't hear it! I know how hard live mixes can be to work with., but please try and balance it.
+Jacob Bowden This is mixed by the band's own sound guy. All we did was master it.
+BVTV "Band of the Week" Ah ok then, thought you guys might have had a bit more to do with audio. You guys do a great job with the video, and the sound is mostly great, just needs to be more balanced I think. Not your fault though! Cheers for the explanation :)

Completely understandable. Great to know how it all works. Keep making great vids :)
kurt travis when allb broke
"well, don't it feel good? you got what you paid for"
I’m so confused, who is Kurt? The curly haired guy or the puffy straight haired guy? So may questions now. I thought Kurt was in A Lot Like Birds and now I’m just confused.

Kurt has shorter wavy hair. Cory has longer curls.
Does anyone know what effect Kurt Travis has on his vocals?
Cupping the mic
Reverb Pedal at some parts I assume.
I believe it’s called being mediocre
THE KUROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI TAKES ME BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK
the bass is fat
SO NOW I LET MY FATE TAKE OVER
AS I SLIP INTO THE CONSEQUENCE BELOW
Imagine if Kurt could sing live....wouldnt it be somthing
....did you watch the video??
Yeah, he's actually pretty damn good here. Especially ever since he quit smoking.
He literally sounds amazing here. Maybe you're mistaking the distortion he's using as difficulty hitting the notes.
Back when A Lot Like Birds showed some masculine traits.
Dude put this band on hold to do a crowd funded solo project in the woods called alone, went way past schedule and puts himself and a random girl on the cover of ALONE then back stabs Kurt and hangs the band. LMAO
