Cool. I motorized my first tandem kayak in 2010. In NY you gotta register anything that has a motor. Didn’t see but hopefully you put a fuse close to the battery. 50ah should give you about 1 hour on full throttle or 3-4 hours if you’re conservative on the throttle.

@@reyfishingandmore..... yeah you can also purchase a minnkota breaker or something. Last thing you want is a battery fire on the water. Tight lines!
