Judging by the comments It seems you guys are keen for injection depth in the lower face … consider it done! We will get it filmed at some point this month 🎉🎉🎉 Layla
Would love to see depth on DAO’s . So much conflicting information. I realise there are different placements and depths in that area but it would be wonderful to have your point of view . Wonderful video and explanation, thank you .
I hope you are doing well , I have seen your videos and I enjoy tremendously your content the hardest thing for me is how you can calculate ML and units things when you do the injection of the botox, which I mean when you say you Inject 4 UNTIS in a point in the corrugator but you actually inject 0.1 ml of the 1 ml syringe. for me if it is 100 ui each 0.1 ml is 10 units or definitely I am getting this wrong. I really would love to find a simple guide to answer this very simple question.
The location of corrugator is depicted in way too many pictures wrong. It originates from the corrugator facet, a slightly flat area above the medial orbital rim and its located under both, OOc and Frontalis and interdites through until it becomes siperficial at its insertion. Its a very interesting muscle with much research behind.
What about the depressor supercilii? We often inject there here in Brazil, because we consider it an important entity of the glabellar topography. We insert the needle very superficially in this area
I’m an injector here, here’s why you shouldn’t go deep at lateral corrugator, Once in a while I did a supraorbital nerve block with lidocaine, some of the drug go through supraorbital foramen into the orbit causing the patient to have an eyelid ptosis during the effect of lidocaine due to numbing effect of the levator palpebrae superioris I was very anxious at that moment and figured out it was just lidocaine effect 😂
I'm a new injector, i always feel weird injecting the frontalis. I see you do at an angle. i always go straight in, in front of the patient, and i dont feel it is correct. Do you have any recommendations on the position?
Hello doc! Thanks for your valuable advice!! I’m from Greece. if something like this has happened with botox and the eyelid has become immobilized to some extent, what should one do?Is there any adidote to this, or should one wait some time for the effect of the toxin to wear off?
Thank you I am new to all of this! I'm thinking about botox and derma course some point in the future, might be a really silly question but why is it I see some injectors almost put all of their needle around the cheeck and eye areas where it looks quite deep.! could it be that they may be injecting fillers! out of the two, do you think learning one or other is easier for a Medic! thank you so much. your videos are really clear and informative.
When injecting the forehead would causing a bruise with a hypopigmentation circle around it that persists beyond a few days be caused by injury to particularly one of the three depths you described?
That medial cortugator gets mr everytime so aftraid of nit going deep enough. How many mm is an average frontalis fibers overlying the corgs ar this location on a thin women. And how about the corrugator supercilii what would u recommend for that location?
Thanks so much for a very informative video.. You have the best way of explaining.. Appreciate all the efforts. A quick one, I was trained to inject the patient while they're sitting upright as we were told the toxin may migrate and cause unwanted results. I see most injectors do it with the patient lying down. Can you please clarify. Thank you 😊

Dr Pearce, What needle are you using. Is it 4 mm length and a 32 gauge?
Excellent
Thank you Dr

Did you figure out the best mm depth for the medial corrugators? I'm wondering the same!
I dont understand how can you inject under the brow without causing lid ptosis ??
And for what??...to elevate the brow ?
EXCELLENT
thank u bro
My sister was bleeding on few spots in her Botox she did forehead . Is this normal?
A little bleeding after Botox injections is very normal. Excessive caffeine or alcohol can increase the risk
what dilution of botox do you use?
The standard dilution is 100 units (1 vial of powder) with 2.5mL of normal saline. This gives 4 units per 0.1mL of solution
Thanks so much for a very informative video.. You have the best way of explaining.. Appreciate all the efforts.
