Mayo and tartar sauce, even with citrus, seems like something I wouldn't want during the humid summers there. 😅 It would be fine any other time. Both sandwiches look tasty. Not sure I would get shrimp if KFC here in the States had it, but I'd definitely try it there. The lemonade and the Furi Furi fry seasoning sound really good, too. Good on the Colonel for offering up some good grub to review!

They just started with the seasonings last month. Not sure if they will keep doing it but so far I like the flavours they have chosen. And these fries are pretty sad by themselves so it's a step in the right direction.
The incredible shrinking burgers! At Arbys, the sliders are now two small bites and the chicken that used to be plump is now extremely thin. At Burger King, the regular burgers are now the size of sliders. Unless I get a great deal I just drive right by. I really wish one of them would do a shrimp burger though. Oh! Our 7-11's are going to start carrying Japanese style foods! I saw onigiri on the advertisement. I'm hopeful!
I've seen some comparisons between the US and Japan 7-11 options, the sandwiches don't really look the same and are like triple the price. I'll be interested to see how the onigiri stacks up👍

I do like chicken nanban as a dish and have wondered if it would make a good burger or not ---I think it might still have potential but this one was not great... :(
Arby’s has the best curly fries. Don’t know if they have Arby’s in Japan. I love them and their roast beef. We just got a Steak N,Shake in Morgantown. Have not tried it yet but love their smash burgers and tiny fries. Have to try it before the students come back. I live in a college town and get inundated in the fall.
We had a KFC last night and I have to say that the fries were terrible even though in the U.K. they are meant to be the improved version. I don’t have KFC often but my go to is a three piece with a side of creamy mashed potato and gravy.
I've never been much of a fan of KFC fries... I mean, this seasoning helps a lot though. And now that you mention it, I don't think KFC here even has mashed potatoes, let alone gravy

Shrimp burgers sound really interesting. Never had that here at McDonald's.. and I agree KFC fries are not high on my list either
