So many of us got busy with our own lives and totally missed the opportunity to listen, understand and record the valuable experiences, stories and records of our elders. I so regret that I didn't ask so many questions that I should have done. Great stories about your father and that of his family. Thank you, Anya. Young people, please treasure the people around you whom you now still can love and hold.
Hi Aniu, it might be that our fathers have met. My dad was born in 1930, became a Polish army officer and then in the 50ties the Russians changed rules, if anyone had any contact with the West they demoted them and from a collonel he became sublieutenant (rank after the Wroclaw military academy) and was dismmissed out of the army. He was a passionate motorcllist winning some Polish championship, but I broke his plaque with a hammer as a child 🙄 and can't ask him as he passed away in 2013. My dad passed his passion to me and I had a motroynka from the age of 12, the only girl in my town in 1980. 🤫. Your video brought tears to my eyes. 😘
Dear Ania, Your presentation in honor of your late father is very moving, human, and inspiring to me. Although we are geographically separated by thousands of miles, my heart and spirit are connected to you and your father's legacy. Many warm wishes to you for your spiritual strength and moral compassion.
Wow What an amazing story. We in North American have no idea of the pain and suffering caused by war. It is so important to share these real life stories that remind us of what may be our future if we allow our leaders to take us blindly in to a global conflict. 🙏🙏❤️❤️🇨🇦
I remember in 2022 in one of your first videos that I watched, you mentioned that you had been taking care of your father during his final months and I immediately knew you were a good person.
Whole Poland is proud of Your Father and all the technicians, who build up our industry out of ashes. There is an interesting book about Junak and its Motorsport achievements: "Junak i Edward Kurowski". Best wishes for all the Real Poles, who build up the developement of our beautiful country.
Aniu bardzo się wzruszyłam kochana i dziękuję za podzielenie się wspomnieniami z rodzinnego życia ❤Pozdrawiam z Austrii mojej drugiej Ojczyzny od 46 lat
Yes, you should keep doing this type of video. It's important to us and to you. I would never have guessed the topic of motorcycles would be a part of the story. I returned to riding again after reluctantly quitting at 17 some 50 years ago.
Your Dad and I have the same Birthday❤😊 i will light an extra candle for him and offer up a prayer for his Beautiful Soul. Now thats what you call a Motorbike. God bless you Ania and your family always .
Thank you Ania. Your voice is so truthful and therefore I always listen to you. Now about your most important man your father. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Amazing story and life, happy birthday Mr.K! ❤ this could be a book or movie, the real stories of our ancestors under challenging circumstances can give us immense strength and courage…I wish I could turn back time sometimes, to do over my life and make different choices with my approach with people and events. I feel you. Much love and light. 🩷
Dear Ania! This was one of your best videos! I had tears 🥹 What a remarkable man your father was! And he would be proud of you for what you do- fighting for better world against evil! ❤
Ania, your father was amazing! I watched your interview with him. Love to labour makes such beautiful motocycles.Your father could dream and create. And he started to create in destroyed country after the war. I imagine how it is difficult. Ania, you did everything right when you spent your time with father. God, bless you, dear Ania!
Ja tez jestem ze Szczecina i czesto bywalam w okolicy fabryki Junaka. Moj tata mial Jawe ale pierwszym jego motocyklem byl D-Rad. Gratuluje dziela Twojego taty❤
Ania you know what? I’m kind of soooo proud of you as if you were my sister! The story is absolutely touching and I was reflecting about my also very rich in events and experiences family stories while listening to yours. Also your Polish is like a music to my ears though generally Russians are a bit sceptical about it. But I realise that the there’s a language behind any language- the language of one’s soul. And yours is a real treasure to me. Lots of love, and remember: we are the leading edge and we are saving humanity 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
I used to go to see the harriers in the UK Ole Olsen who was my Hero in speed way riding. there was Peter Collins Igor Plekhanov, Antoni Woryna, Paweł Waloszek, Bernt Persson, Malcolm Simmons, Barry Briggs, I remember them as a child.
Ania, The story you tell us about your father is very emotional.for me I myself am writing a book about all my life , month by month , year by year. I even write about the life of my parents and grandparents as far back as I can. This is the best gift you can give to your children and grandchildren. No money or properties. I agree with you totally like Hemingway said: Every man or woman’s story is a Novell. Thank you Ania for another great video!
Ania, I absolutely love your family story & you bought it to life so much so I could imagine seeing both your Father & Grandad standing behind feling such pride & love for you.
Ания, спасибо! ❤❤❤ Какая интересная история, и такие тёплые хорошие воспоминания...Очень понравились стихи, и как звучат на польском языке, и смысл - на английском...🫠🌿🙏
What a beautiful story! Thank you Ania for sharing! I think your father is very proud of you, same as you are of him ❤️ I said ‘is’ and I mean it, and I’m sure you know it too.
Greetings Ania. I am 2 days late and catching up. Thank you Ania for sharing your special memories, You have a pure heart and soul, I am positive your parents know what a beautiful, loving daughter you are, Stay safe, God Bless
I hear you Ania ❤ My father is 91. He was 6 when ww2 started and 12 when ended. He lived in a Nazi occupied city in Poland, his father, my grandfather I never met, was imprisoned by Nazis for not complying and sent to a Nazi work camp in Germany. My family have never talked about the war. They learned to survive mentally by burying those memories deep inside. Later on, after ww2, as a teacher and then a headmaster of a secondary school during communist era he was involved in the underground freedom movement, free underground press. So he was so happy when communism ended, and when Poland joined the EU. I can't blame him for being now so naive and having his views easily shaped by the mainstream media. He believes we live in a free country finally, America is democracy, our friend and quarantor of peace.... Anyway thank you Ania for reminding me, I'd love to sit down with my father and ask him to tell his life story. He might be ready to share now.
Hi Ania, It was so nice to hear you celebrate the life of your Dad. 💜 No matter what country this generation of people lived in, they were unique, I often wonder whether we will ever see their kind again. Ania, I have ridden motorcycles my entire life. I remember, as a boy, stripping the heavy guards etc from a CZ motorcycle to lighten it. With their long, wide, flat saddles, the faster you rode, the further back on the saddle you were pushed by the wind, to a point where shutting off the throttle became difficult, and I would have to rely on the foot brake, to gain control of the throttle once more. lol. Thank you for sharing.

Friend of mine who has owned many motorcycles. Once told me the KTM he had was his favorite for handling. Unfortunately he accidentally set it on fire and destroyed it.

That was a heart stopping story about your grandfather escaping from the SS back in 1939. That woman who turned him in to the German authorities and was given his belongings in reward by these same German authorities, embodies the evil that is still going on yet again today by EU Brussels German led NATO and empowered by our DC Beltway and fruit salad Pentagon 4 star generals. The Donbas region is super rich in natural resources and was obviously coveted by German business interests back in WW2 and now again by German and additionally US business interests today. Crimea with its Russian naval base is also as important as a Russian commerce hub where navigable rivers within Russia come to its natural protected port region analogous to New Orleans in America where the great Mississippi River flows to. Both the Donbas and Crimea regions have been under Russian influence since 1776. Little has changed for German NATO and business interests in this proxy war except this time around American politicians have picked to side with Germany not Russia. This is a huge mistake for all Americans but those who vote for Obama-Biden and now Harris seem hell bent to repeat this same mistake Adolf in WW2 made invading Russia. Kursk Russia is where in WW2 the largest tank battles in history occurred in WW2. Today it is a slaughterhouse for NATO’s best trained and armed troops all dressed as Ukrainian troops and currently occupying this region inside Mother Russia. Near all dead men very soon. ----- Thank you for showing the motorcycles your dad helped engineer. That was heart warming and enjoyable to watch.
Ah Exciting Ania. I look forward to your Sunday talks. Yesterday was interesting too as l just was struggling to figure out what was best with the shared values visa. You might find it interesting to know that if Brits want to apply then l have heard that the Edinburgh consulate seems to be quite inundated with requests . More than the London Consulate. Anyway l am British and really looking forward to fingers crossed 🤞 getting my residency. I also dream of a dacha in Moscow oblast and leading something of a normal life without worrying that I say or do something that offends the woke police. Please Ania. That wonderful poem by the Polish poet. Can you inform us of the title etc. Very moving
What an interesting person your father was, Ania! Thank you so much for sharing his story! And how dear, to have a recording of his voice- very blessed! 🙏🏻💪🙏🏻
Thank you Anya, my Dad was one year older than yours. His life is a whole book, always good to remember him with love and compassion and you reminded me. 💖
I know that motorcycle. I ve seen it. It had beatiful lines. It was the first 4 stroke made in Poland after ww2, anyway. I was proud of people who built it even though I had not the slightest idea who they were. I wanted to mention they were from Shchecheen ( Szczecin) but wasn't sure of my memory. Then you confirmed, it was Szczecin. watch your videos, I like all of them. Now I find out one of these men was your father. I have a lot of respect for you in your own right, and now additionalIy I find your father was part of the team who built ...Junak ( read Yunak in Polish to those who dont know) I am a motorcycle man . Motorcycles are my life. Yunak, a bike built in 1960's, in my opinion is a better looking bike than 95 % of all bikes built today. If I had room and money to keep a collectio I would have Junak init.
THANK YOU for WATCHING and LIKING the VIDEO.
Thank you for sharing this story, Ania. "Junak" means a hero and you are continuing your father's work. He must be watching you with pride. ❣
P.S. Just wondering why would your father choose the name "Junak" which means 'hero' in Serbian. Being who he was, he must had a good reason.
Nice Bikes ✨👌
