Great video. You may still have air in your cooling system. Open your heater valve all the way when filling. I noticed that the temp is a little high. For the late model MGBs they should run a little cooler right on the "N" Midway on the gauge when the climate in in the 60s.
@@LowTechGarage The bouncing speedo might also be caused by a loose nut where the rear transmission meets the driveshaft. John Twist has a video with details. That was the issue with my MGB. Once I took an impact driver to that nut my speedometer was steady and accurate. Great work on this car!

Thanks for this information! I will definitely check this. I’m down south and the temps are usually in the 80s. I’m not sure if that changes things.

What's with the speedo? Seems to be fluctuating. Nice work, BTW.
The Speedo cable needs some lubrication. Also the tach takes a minute to wake up because of the electronic ignition.
