They're my first cordless clippers and I really couldn't be happier. I jumped on the Rebels day one. Then, immediately changed the lever to float and if I had to put a number on it, -.03 gapped. Not quite zero, but, hella close. Paired with the Saber trimmer, wowwwww. Forget about it... 👃🏾
Hey Bro i appreciate your video so much . I only have one question . If I buy the rebel where should I let it like it is or zero gap it . And at which length comes both of them ? The rebel and the senior ? Thank you
I can see why the Senior is the top. It seems to me the other companies used the Magic Clip and Senior as a model to make their version. The Senior is proven. I like using the Wahl fade blade with the StyleCraft guards to take down the bulk.
Personally a floating lever is my favorite. Might be because i came up using corded masters and seniors. These new age click levers work also but i feel its more restricting. You can do a super clean detailed haircut with them dont get me wrong but a floating lever is way quicker and encourages lever play. The clicks i feel is better for beginners so they dont get lost.

My issue with click levers is that the range is equidistant - all the motion is the same distance from the level above or below. This makes fading easy but give no real range on the types of transitions that you can make. On the other hand floating levers are difficult to make equidistant motions but allow for any type of fade transitions that you want. I can break my lever down into fifths, fourths, thirds.....some areas you might use fully open to halfway and break that down into two motions but then use halfway to closed into thirds, or even fourths and you might only need to do that on some parts of the head, while breaking it down differently on other parts of the head.

I disagree with your #1 but everybody has their own preference! The battery life is an issue for me with all of Walhl’s clippers. In my opinions, if you get a clipper with a run time of less than 2 hrs or barely 2 hrs I think it’s a waste of time. Most of the newer options are giving 3-4 hrs! The blades of the Walt’s are comparable to any of the newer blades on the newer options. I have the Magic Clipper, and it gets the job done, but the battery life makes me use it the least.

Taper blade clippers are my favs. Every head I cut, my detailer is the 357 Caliber. This is the clipper that always gets touch. The 50 Cal has a fade blade, so I only use to remove harsh skin lines. I guess my go to is the 357 Caliber because in my opinion, the blade hits right out of the box. 3 1/2 hr run-time, blade is great for detailing, light and great ergonomics.
@@ConcisetheBarber Lastly you and other Barbers are the Pros as it relates to cutting hair. I do it as a side hustle on weekends. In my humble opinion, Andis & Wahl are legends in this Industry. However, like basketball when the Dream Team took home the bronze, the competition has gotten better! These two (2) manufacturers have been in the game for decades, and this post is not to put them down, but ultimately to highlight what their competitors are doing and in some cases better than they are!!!
@@neil231 facts they are the (old heads) of clippers.. newer companies listen to what the barber needs and acquire… I’m just that barber that try many many clippers … either your a person that always will have a muscle car or adopt the new and have a EV … so it’s all preference at the end of the day… but im with all the new stuff .. stylecraft is my favorite so far
@@neil231 haven’t tried those yet heard great things about them though
What about Legend cordless?
they are good but nothing stand out about them ...that these clippers cant do and more
The jrl are the cheapest made clippers. The plastic breaks with heat so you can’t use them for long
Oh wow I never heard of that happening
Save yall money. Caliber 9mm is a rebel with a different cover. Put the fusion and slim deep tooth blade on it, and thank me later.
i had them .. just ddint like the feel and the noise..but yes basically same motor
Caliber 9mm 🔥🔥
where do you buy the blades ?
@@sheluhfrosty3200 wbbarber.com or barbersalon.com
In your opinion if you already own the saber and the ergo is it worth copping the x ergo and the mythic? I've found them at a steal!
Me personally no.. but if your truly interested in them .. get them for the steal
No wonder I have had bad luck with clippers. I have been spending like $20 on clippers.
Wow really .. which clippers
@@ConcisetheBarber the Wahl brand and clippers like that.
Bro great video… well done 👍 …I feel like Wahls are like Kias no one wanted them in the beginning but they have come around so we’ll that everyone wants them lol… that style craft rebel is a beast especially when you modify the blade and you put Wahl crunch blade and keep the style craft cutting blade on
How do you do this? I got the stagger tooth blade and it doesn’t fit the cam follower. I contacted Stylecraft and they said they don’t make one 🤷🏽♂️
The stagger tooth blade (still blade) is able to fit .. maybe not the (cutting blade Ryan)
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks bro

Best magnetic clipper
Hw can u help mi t buy this cordless machine but I'm in Botswana
do you have amazon?
The new magics are better than the rebels. And the seniors for that matter
That could be true… for me when I did this video it lost due to price and run time …
Caliber 50 cal BMG
Yea I love mines too.. I’ll put them at number 6
I can’t believe u ain’t put the Masters in type 5 come on now big bra lol
Best all around .. no.. fading maybe too 5
What's the difference between magic clip and 5 star
Motor and battery senior has 70 mins run time gold clip 100 plus of run time
Is JRLs plastic? Them look so cheap
One part of it is plastic .. however definitely not a bad clipper at all .. most wahl and other company do use plastic
Buy kiepe or madeshow...
I never heard of madeshow
1 caliber bmg
2 JRL
3 Low Pros
4 Osters
5 1919
I like all of them .. bmgs are probably next on my list .. love them but think rotary motor beats them with the bulk .. and lo pros are coo but lack rpms
Yeah , caliber bmg 🚀

Most of these are expensive. I wish there were less expensive and more inexpensive clippers.
Sadly all clippers have gone up.. however there are still some that are still good that cost a little less.. like the magic clips
Click levers are equivalent to a vehicle with a backup camera. You'll never learn to drive with relying on a camera.
10000%
JRL 100 percent best. Low weight, low noise, smooth, absolutely no snagging, doesn’t heat up like style craft and Wahl, andis, babyliss.
Has two speeds, for fading and bull cutting.
i can understand your suggestion and definitely my top 5 clipper..just isnt the best in my opinion..for beginners due to the fact i fell like a floating leveler should be the first thing to learn on ..rebel can be both click or floating...jrl doesnt...
I love my x ergos but Cant beat them seniors they will always stay in the lineup 🫡💪🏾
yea facts they will
