Wow! You not only informed me on how to use the detachable fade system...but this gave me more clarity on what i should be doing with my guard system. I cannot wait until i can afford a detachable blade clipper😍 great video👍
Love your videos first of all. I know that it’s 5 years later but what’s the reasoning behind the T outliners into a skeleton and how did you get your T outliners to hit so good like that? Till this day I use andis T outliners.
Wow! I hardly ever comment on barber videos but they way you presented and executed this cut is probably one of the best tutorial videos I’ve seen (and I’m a beginner barber so watching TH-cam videos is currently my thing!) thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I really do appreciate you! -Jazmin
Man, that was such a helpful tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing your wealth of knowledge, and to helping individuals like myself become better at the art of barbering. Greatly appreciated.
That's how I was trained with the Oster 76. Do the same routine (steps) on every hair cut. That sets the professional cutter from an amatuer. Great work! 👍
This was a great vid! Detachable blades do make life easier. I appreciate the courtesy of keeping the hairline as natural as possible. Most babies overlook that in efforts to get a “crispy” line. Great job. Just earned a new subscriber.
The tutorial in on point. I started cutting my two son's hair a year just by watching videos like this on TH-cam, my wife's friends are so impressed, they now want me to cut their children's hair. Great job MMA BARBER LIFE.
Nice video. I cut with the Oster Classic 76 and modified Fast Feed clippers (ceramic), trim using modified Andis GTX trimmers (skeleton with a Pro-Mate and a ceramic cutting blade) I've seen other videos like this, but I have yet to see any barbers who chop with detachable blade clippers blending with the 0000, modified 0A and 18 Skiptooth blades.. They make a BIG difference. I also agree with you on the whole Spritz thing. I feel like it's a temporary fix for those who haven't mastered lining techniques (like overdirection and finishing with a razor) to get that natural line extra crispy. You still delivered on the cut, big bro. Salute.
As barbers before we use spritz/holding spray we prep the line up then use holding spray.. holding spray isn’t as effective if the edge up isn’t prepped .. like using a certain guard to knock the front edge up down a bit depending upon the length but hold spray definitely a necessity
Great video. Thanks for the gems 💎 u drop on us. Gonna be purchasing a detachable blade clipper, shouldn’t have any issues with blending and switching from a rotary motor thanks to your tutorials. Fire cut 🔥
hey man awesome videos! keep them coming.. i just started using the detachable clippers myself.. and i do a great job blending with the sidees. but in the back i always leave a dark line caused by the 1 blade.. i give myself room to blend too.. but when i do a 1.5 blade then a 1a then try to touch it up with the 1.. its still there.. any advice if that makes sense.. really could use it
Bro, you know I been rockin with you since the 'whatchamacallit' days... It's been dope watching you grow and this video was extremely helpful. Keep going and growing!!
Do you prefer detachables when fading? If yes why do u think a lot of barbers don’t use them? I feel like they make cleaner cuts but I don’t see a lot of ppl using them
@@IDOITTRAVELS i guess its because i usually fade with wahl and i go clipper open , 1 closed , 1 1/2 close and so on and so forth . Use my 1 guard to fade out the line from 1 1/2 and my half guard to fade out line from 1.

@@IDOITTRAVELS Thank you for responding. I wanted to know if you would be willing to do a video zero gapping blades from the largest to 1A blade. Can you make a drop fade w/ detachable blade video?

So i have a question, the 0A is like a halfguard ?
Yes.
@@IDOITTRAVELS so why did you go 0A straight to the 1 1/2 blade , can you just skip the 1 blade itsself?

Would these steps work for faux hawks and burst fades?

Andis Detachable blades the same as Oster Octane detachable blades?
Pretty much! Andis offers ceramic blades. Other than that, they're the same.
Excelente profissional
Do you notice if oster blades cuts better than Andis?
Thank you
Don’t really know because my two sets of blades are Oster. One set I swapped to ceramic blades.
Can this be preformed without my blades being gapped ?
If you mean the detachable blades, yes.
On the 000 blade did you modified that blade? or does the blade comes that way?

Those are the originals. Never tried the ZR II.

Why is one side higher on your one blade?
That dandruff takes away from the cut, although the cut is excellent overall.
Great cut but dang he has so much flakes
do you even zero gap your 1 1/2 blades?
Yes, I did.
Why did you use the whole 1A blade instead of using the corner of the blade when fading up?
Because the 1A is very forgiving. Every blade below the 1A is not.

do these techniques work on mexican hair or Asian hair?
