Thanks! The area along the tracks has changed a lot just in the past year - the old N&W signals were replaced with new ones just a few weeks ago, and the depot at Forest will be demolished soon. The only thing constant in life is change.
I’m a big fan of the 611 and I know quite a good bit about her but there is one thing I can’t seem to figure out, what is the Pocahontas? When I research it what I seem to gather is that it is a division but that doesn’t seem like the Pocahontas that is being referred to when speaking about the 611. Like how it says the 611 pulling the Pocahontas derailed at Tug River. So can someone kindly explain to me what the Pocahontas is please?

The Pocahontas was an overnight passenger express that the Js pulled from Norfolk to Cincinatti.
