I made my 1st wreath with this huge help of this lovely tutorial. I am not crafty at all, so Thank you Michelle! Don't know how to post to show it to you all, very beautiful.
*Absolutely gorgeous!!* I'm nearly 60 years old, & after watching this tutorial, I feel much more confident to finally create my very first wreath! *Thank you so much for not rushing through that process.*
+D Hoosier Thank you! Make sure you watch my tutorial for the large flower as it shows a different method for cutting your mesh so you get less fraying.
I did it!! My first deco mesh wreath. Whew. Cheers!! The colors were pleasantly enjoyable to see while it was coming together and was endearing as it reminded me of my childhood Spirograph set. I followed your tutorial utilizing the wood burning tool. Thanks mega much for sharing!
I have all thumbs when it comes to DIY projects but just watching you in this video... I am inspired to give this project a try... Your Flowers are absolutely stunning... Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you! Make sure you watch the new tutorial I just posted yesterday! It addresses questions people had with the flower wreath as well as shows a great new technique!
awesome...I just got a call for a spring wreath. I have been so bored with the basic method. you have just inspired me sooo much. thank you, i look forward to more videos and new creative ways to decorate and sell my products. i rely on my repeat customer and i need to keep it fresh. thumbs way up!!!!!
Thank you! Make sure to watch my large flower tutorial as well as it shows issues people have had with the smaller flower tutorial and I address those.
I attempted to make one like this last year. I used a 6" base and the full 21" mesh! It ended up being a complete mess!!! The petals kept falling forward and I ended up scrapping it! This looks so much easier and seems to work better than my attempt! Thank you so much for sharing!
Sherry Whitman Thank you! Make sure you watch my newest tutorial for the large flower wreath. It shows a new techniques for cutting the mesh so you get less fraying.
Wow ! That deco mesh flower wreath is so Beautiful, I cant wait until I do one. I done a couple of deco wreaths but I didnt know you can make a flower wreath . Thank you so much for the video that you had shared and spent all that time in demonstration on how to make one.
lisa jaworowski Thank you! Make sure you also watch my more recently published videos on the flowers as I show how to cut the mesh differently so you don’t get the fraying. As well as I don’t use the glass gems anymore for the centers as they tend to come off in the weather.
I just had the pleasure of seeing you're work and you are just amazing. The colors you chose are beautuful and I love how thorough you were in step by step tututorial. lookung foward to seeing more of your talents.👍😃
Rose Felice Thank you! Make sure you check out my new tutorial Here's a tutorial for my large flower wreath. Great new technique for cutting the mesh so that there is little to no fray! th-cam.com/video/sMk41KDeVrw/w-d-xo.html
I would like to thank you for the video. This was my first attempt in making a wreath and i figured go big or go home..lol.. With your help it turned out better than I could of imagined. I did use a dollar tree wire ring so it was 14.5 inches and upsized my center to 7.5 and I added 2 petals per section and it was perfect. So again thank you very much. I will be fallowing you from now on.
I love mesh but have never liked the wreaths I've seen made with them because they just look like a big blobs. This is just gorgeous and I can't wait to try one!! Thank you for showing us a new way to use the mesh. 😄😄😄🎉🎉
Hiya Michelle, just wanted to tell you that you are the Queen of wreaths !! I've been all winter 2016-2017 till now April 20,2017 -- so last week I decided too give it a try after watching your tutorial a dozen or more times ,lol,,seriously! ! So , made my first ombre orange & blue wreath ,after many hours ,and your so right about how cutting out the squares being the most difficult and time consuming. After all the prep work was complete it took me a little over 6 hrs to complete the wreath ,these dern petals sometimes don't want too comply, but in the end I had a beautiful wreath !! thank you so much for showing us how too cut our petals and fold then ! you made it look easy and thankfully 4 me it was workable & easy after the first few petals made . I do have a question for ya though , I used the Styrofoam green ball I cut in half then I bought the Quater size glass beads using gruilla glue sticks , but 2 my dismay they started too fall off :( - so being the hard head I am I bought the E6000 liguid glue ,they seem too be holding on this time . I decided maybe they were just too heavy ,I bought the dime size glass beads from AC Moore using the gorilla glue sticks ,I'll be dag-gone if they didn't start falling off too !! so I started to glue them back Wth the E6000 glue but to my dismay they continue 2 fall off as well , any suggestions on how I can make them stay-put ?? I pained my Styrofoam ball with Nichole's acrylic craft paint . Any suggestions would be a great help, once again thank you for sharing your talent with us and making your tutorials easy 2 follow. Big fan and follower from West Virginia. Sincerely, Cindy
Cindy Swisher Hi Cindy! Thank you so much! I have a new tutorial addressing issues with the flower wreath, people have been having. I now use corsage pins with pretty jeweled heads on them as so many people were having issues with the glass falling off in different weather. I also show a new technique for cutting the mesh so it has little to no fray on it. th-cam.com/video/sMk41KDeVrw/w-d-xo.html Thank you again for your kind words!
Thanky bunches, I thought for sure it was something I was doing wrong ,glad 2 know it's not just me :) Omgoodness I watched your tutorial on using the wood burner/engraving tool WHAT A BIG DIFFERENCE IT'S MAKES !! I would never have thought of using this tool . Can't wait to what you come up with next :)
Thank you sooo much for sharing this fantastic tutorial. Planning to make my first try. Your piece is so gorgeous. You’re great & talented. More power to you.
This was a very informative video. I enjoyed it. You made sure you gave all the information I would need. This will be my first time making this wreath. I went and bought everything I need. I just have to order my mesh. I'm making a sunflower wreath. I hope I do everything right.
Phyllis Inks I did a new tutorial over the weekend that I'm trying to get uploaded but I am having issues with it loading. it addresses some issues people have with the flowers and shows a new technique.
YOU ARE AN AWESOME TEACHER!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVED WATCHING YOU, I TOOK NOTES, AND THANKS TO YOU, I BELIEVE I MIGHT CAN DO THIS. I SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR TUTORIALS!!!!
Hi Michelle, Julie sent me to your channel, she says you do beautiful wreaths and she was right. Thank you for sharing your talent. I love the soft wispy look of your finished product.💞
So glad I found your channel! I am a newbie to deco mesh wreath making. I've learned to plan way ahead of time and buy supplies early. I am trying to make a fall flower similar to these with red and orange. Stores are out of orange deco mesh already and ran out. So after getting 2 rings done, I am gonna have to do all red for last layers. I hope it turns out nice. Yours are go beautiful!
These are so beautiful and have given me great inspiration. I'm going to make one for myself using your color scheme. Thank you! The instructions are great too.
I just wanted to thank you for sharing your creativity with all of us. I saw this the other day and just had to make one! I am almost finished with my first one. I'm sure I will get better the more I make, but I think it's beautiful. Some of my petals seem to be more frayed than yours, I haven't used the adhesive spray yet because I'm not done. I love it though! I have a yellow center with multi colored yellow beads, a light pink, hot pink, silver, and green petals :)
I already have purchased the blue ombre mesh at Walmart and just saw the orange ombre mesh the other day. I need to go back and get a roll. I love this wreath. You did an awesome job! I can't wait to make one. tfs :-)
This is such a beautiful wreath. I'm making mine now. You definitely make it look easier than it is. I'm actually making one for my mom, my mother in law, my step mom, my ex mother in law and my two daughters. I'm pretty sure the last one I make will look better than the first, lol. Thank you for sharing this beautiful creation!!
Do you cover the back for a more finished look? If so, what do you use? And if covered, how do you hang the wreath? I made this as a sunflower and I love it! But my front door has glass and you can see the pipe cleaners! Thanks so much for your generosity in sharing your methods. Great tutorial!
Jon McLain thank you! Before attempting the flower watch my newest tutorial showing a new cutting technique so you get little to no fraying. th-cam.com/video/sMk41KDeVrw/w-d-xo.html
Hi Michelle...SO beautiful thank you so so much for sharing your technique! I am a member of several wreath groups on FB and have seen many folks using your tutorial to make these gorgeous flowers but have yet been brave enough to attempt it myself as I am a beginner to deco mesh and it just looked to be so complicated! I am so glad I finally watched your video and you have given me the confidence to finally try it but I have a very important question for you and I'm hoping you can help! I have purchased the ombre mesh on a couple of occasions and made "bow tie ruffle" style wreaths (cut the mesh down the middle and then again in different lengths) and have just had a HORRIBLE time with fraying and unraveling! I have a tried a rotary cutter...wood burning tool....spray adhesive....nothing seems to help!! I noticed your edges do have some fraying but very minimal...what is your secret? I made another last night and the pieces seemed ok until I started assembling and then disaster struck once again with the fraying etc.....so frustrating! I am ready to give up and just stick to the NO cut mesh wreaths from now on honestly!! I did not use the E6000 spray however I used the Elmer's spray adhesive...wonder if that was it? Any help and or advice would be great! Thank you so much :)
Tina Rappa Hi Tina! Since I have been using the wood burner I have very little fraying if at all. I think the key is to not overwork your mesh. I use the Elmer's craft bond spray adhesive now and spray the entire wreath once it's completed. Then I spray with the Krylon UV resistant spray to help protect against sun fading and weathering. I really think it's just the mesh getting overworked. I have been doing these a few years so have it done with no need to rework the folds etc. I would just say the more you do the better it will come out. Thank you for watching!!
Krystal Mullane thank you! Make sure you watch my newest tutorial on my large flower. It shows a new technique for cutting the mesh so it doesn't fray.
Awesome, thank you! I will definitely watch that before I get started! I've never made one before so I want it to look the best I can since I'm going to be putting a lot of effort into it.
Love your work! I can't wait to try these! However, I do have one question, is it possible to include the specific supply list on each tutorial? Because I was wondering how big the ball was ( saw the answer here though ) and what size metal wreath holder etc......thank you 😀
Thank you! I will keep that in consideration! You can use any size ball that you want. My local store only sells one size of the green foam balls and that's what I use. I have also used the 4" dry foam hemispheres as well as the very large dry foam hemispheres for my sunflowers. So it's really up to the creator whatever they want. Same goes to color, most any colors turn out beautiful and unique. I will hopefully be having another tutorial sometime in October, this month has been crazy!
Thank you so much for sharing the tutorial - I am looking to make these with glass candle centers for laying flat on tables as centerpieces. Possibly using more round shaped glass containers with either wick burning or electrical candles. Any recommendations for purchasing the mesh ribbon rolls (possibly in bulk) at affordable prices? I love the ending with wine too! Wine always makes crafting so much better. lol!
That is so beautiful I've seen others made but yours is much better & i like how you show it really close up not like I've seen other video's they need to watch your video
Great close up view to see where you are placing the mesh. Have you had a problem with the gem pulling up from the glue in the hot months on the center? Beautiful wreath.
Hey I was looking at the beautiful wreaths you had made and I was wondering if you could explain how to make the light pink ombré and black flower wreath? I just can’t seem to find the right colors for it and it’s sooo beautiful!
Beautiful!!! 🌟🌟🌟 Have you done a sunflower one? 🌻 That's what I'd like to make. Have you done a smaller scaled one with an 8 inch wreath frame? Thank you for the tutorial ❤
I love this flower wreath, I want to make a black, silver and white one to coordinate with my living room. Please can you tell me what size craft mat you used for this and would an A3 size be ok for this?
Love love this flower tutorial I have 10inch mesh (green) I want the green leaves to extend a lil out more than the petals, so do I cut the green mesh 12 inches instead of 10 ??
Elvia Ibanez Thank you! I cut all my mesh 10". I am sure if you want it longer you can cut it longer, but it's on the far rung so it sticks out in the back. If you go to my Facebook page www.facebook/anobletouch you can see all my flowers and they are all done with the 10" cut.
+OurSproutingFamily No, it literally hangs right onto the frame. The section in between the leave sections is where it is able to hang without any interference from the mesh, because there is no mesh attached to the outer ring at those points.
I made my 1st wreath with this huge help of this lovely tutorial. I am not crafty at all, so Thank you Michelle! Don't know how to post to show it to you all, very beautiful.
Tania post it on my Facebook page! A Noble Touch
I haven't been a huge fan of mesh...until now . wow that's GORGEOUS! !!!!

Amazing videos....she does specifically help you learn how to do it ....
Thank you sooooo much for posting this video. I cannot wait to make one for myself. I hope it turns out as well as yours. Very Beautiful!
Where do you order your mesh?
yoandjoe the mesh in this tutorial can all be found at Walmart.
Hi Michelle, If you use a smaller ball, like 4" do you have to cut additional mesh to fill the space or will the 90 be enough?
The 90 is good for the four or six inch ball.
Thanks ... One more question ... Are you using low or high temp glue gun?
You are very good at this! I do crafts. Haven't done the flower wreath yet. I'm gonna attempt it.
Jon McLain thank you! Before attempting the flower watch my newest tutorial showing a new cutting technique so you get little to no fraying. th-cam.com/video/sMk41KDeVrw/w-d-xo.html

Thank you 😊 make sure to watch the large flower tutorial as it addresses issues others have had with the first video.

Thank you! 😄 and I bought a 12 inch metal wreath.....it looks just like yours. Please keep the wonderful tutorials coming 😄
Brilliant tutorial video and they look great
Thank you for sharing x
Thank you!
Wine always makes crafting so much better. lol!
LOL Thank you!! Sounds like a great idea! I order my mesh from craftoutlet and/or walmart.
BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thanks for a great tutorial!

Thank you!
Great close up view to see where you are placing the mesh. Have you had a problem with the gem pulling up from the glue in the hot months on the center? Beautiful wreath.
Sorry I’m just seeing this now. Yes, I now use Lomey pins with gem heads.
Awesome wreath! Thanks so much for the tutorial that is well done.

Hey I was looking at the beautiful wreaths you had made and I was wondering if you could explain how to make the light pink ombré and black flower wreath? I just can’t seem to find the right colors for it and it’s sooo beautiful!
Samantha Creech thank you! Unfortunately that mesh is no longer being made. It is a discontinued mesh. I only have two rolls left.
Thank you for sharing! You made it look so easy!

Have you done a sunflower one? 🌻 That's what I'd like to make. Have you done a smaller scaled one with an 8 inch wreath frame? Thank you for the tutorial ❤
Thank you! Here is a flower on an 8” frame. th-cam.com/video/8Kpz9ZpK4C4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iENm11LzidmjAdVH

I love this flower wreath, I want to make a black, silver and white one to coordinate with my living room. Please can you tell me what size craft mat you used for this and would an A3 size be ok for this?
It’s a 36” wide mat that I use.
@@ANobleTouchCrafts Thank you 🙂👍
Thank u so much for this tutorial! I FINALLY understand how to make this wreath!!!!
You’re welcome!
Thank you for sharing your talents.
Do you have a tutorial for the horse/unicorn?
Just look under A Noble Touch Crafts on TH-cam and I do have a tutorial for my horse heads.
Love love this flower tutorial
I have 10inch mesh (green) I want the green leaves to extend a lil out more than the petals, so do I cut the green mesh 12 inches instead of 10 ??
Elvia Ibanez Thank you! I cut all my mesh 10". I am sure if you want it longer you can cut it longer, but it's on the far rung so it sticks out in the back. If you go to my Facebook page www.facebook/anobletouch you can see all my flowers and they are all done with the 10" cut.
This flower is very pretty!!!!
very beautiful! I can't wait to try one.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for getting back to me. Much appreciated!
I love this idea can't wait to make it
Rose Lesniewicz Thank you!
love love love this tutorial! watched another just prior and yours is really great and very understandable
Thank you!
So amazingly beautiful and creative. I do have one question though, how do you hang it up?
You can hang them anywhere on the outer ring of the frame. They hang very easily on a wreath hanger, nail, or 3M hook.
+A Noble Touch Crafts oh I see. do you attach a ribbon or wire to the frame and hang it that way?
+OurSproutingFamily No, it literally hangs right onto the frame. The section in between the leave sections is where it is able to hang without any interference from the mesh, because there is no mesh attached to the outer ring at those points.
