우드 카빙 / 은 상감 / 차판 / 진다이 느티 / Silver Wire Inlay In Wood / ON WOOD

은이나 동을 상감하는 작업은 계속 기회만 엿보다가 이번에 진다이 느티 차판을 만들면서 해보게 되었습니다.
본래 느티나무의 노란 빛이 화산 때문에 탄화되어 어두워진 진다이 느티. 그 무거운 색이 은의 밝고 맑은 느낌과 대비되어 어우러질 것 같아서입니다.
두께 1mm 은판을 3mm 깊이로 심어 고정을 하고 좀 더 돋보이게 하기 위해서 조각칼로 깎으면서 산을 만들어 단차를 주었습니다.
