    I have a solid "air tight" base build that uses all walls, vehicle gates, and even the blast walls. It has enough room to add everything you have here, plus the third turret, OS, etc. Basically the whole catalog. The only thing that goes outside is the flail, and vehicle terminals. This is good for a quick, secure flail base or spawn base I suppose.

    It is good then only thing I would recommend is making sure your turrets are lowered to the ground as possible

      Thank you and yeah I can agree to that, was mostly trying to make it as fast as possible but the nice thing is as the blender model shows you can hide artillery batteries behind the walls and they'll mostly be safe.

      If the builder is good about keeping up they can overcharge the structure shield mods making all structures/walls invulnerable indefinitely forcing enemy forces to charge in by foot

    I just build a silo, pillbox with spawntube inside, surround it with walls and a vehicle gate, add a vehicle pad, skywall and OS and call it a day. The time spent building a base can easily be wasted due to the enemy not attacking, your allies pushing many bases ahead, etc.. And the defense of your base depends mostly on allied support. Your turrets get sniped by a single tank, they are just better spitties imo. And if you get overrun by a zerg, which is very likely, you can't defend. So I would rather keep my bases low effort with minimal time investment.

    • @houstoner
      @houstoner 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Or you can enjoy building elaborate works of art. Once in a while I get a base going that gets to see some action, and it at least stalls the enemy long enough to get an allied armor column going behind it. I build at least one base per session, the certs I get are about the same if not more than what I would get on the frontlines. December alone, I spent almost the whole month of double XP base building. Made nearly 40K certs. That includes cortium mining, spawns, turret kills, orbital strikes, flails, everything. I call bs on it not being a good investment, but that's just me. Just have to realize there will be many failures along the way, and it can get frustrating at times. I have rage quit a few of those times lol.

    • @theDemolisher13
      @theDemolisher13  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mg-jf5ld Believe it or not but AI anti-infantry turrets aren't as powerful as people make them out to be. I've been on other sides and seen others do this. Defeating a player base before PTS update only required a little teamwork. Either having 2 people keep tapping the AI turret from different direction forcing it to rotate (more rotation is better) before diving back into cover, oh if that's too much work throwing decoy grenades will get the turret's full and undivided attention, or run up to the turrets till you're blow it as they can't shoot within a cone of distance of themselves. Also if you're luckily enough to have a AV knife you can just kill the turret than without wasting ammo. Furthermore if you bring a nagi with extended mag on it you can 1 mag any module you want with it even under the effects of a repair mod. Finally remember assaulting a base is difficult as the enemy have fortify it to give them the advantage so expect to take losses but always be on the lookout for knocks and crannies to use for cover. If they think they're safe behind their one way shields just chuck a grenade or c4 pack through the window it will bypass the shield and most likely kill anyone inside or gravely wound them. Also remember without any healing factors it take not that it takes a pain spiral 10-12 seconds to burn someone to death and pain spirals only have the HP of a module and take small arms fire so just nagi them out, or if you got a medic nearby let them heal you while you burn as they heal faster than you burn this helps burn cortium off the silo. Next you can build your own vehicle pad within 100m of the enemy silo and use that to drain cortium from it by span pulling armor or letting your allies pull armor to assault the base. Remember Hesh is your best friend when fighting construction as it hits people through walls and shields alike as well as mods. AP is worthless against construction due to that fact. You can also climb up the 4 corners of the OG sunderer garage and dropping in to give it c4 bricks just remember you can't shoot or throw anything through the garage shields as they're two way not one way. Also whatever you do please for the love of god try to avoid artillery/OSing a base out it's not fun for anyone. Oh yeah Ants make for better busses than sunderers due to their high mobility & making it easy to climb them thus they make great ladders if you wanted.

    But how what is the cortium upkeep?

    • @theDemolisher13
      @theDemolisher13  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Burn Rates per second
      SIlo: 2 + Skywall: 0.2 + 2x Structure Shield: 0.15 + Repair Mod: 0.25 (eats more when repairing) + AI Mod: 0.1 + Ammo Tower: 0.5 + Router: 1 + Pain Field: 1 = 5.35 cortium consumption a second. A full tank should last about two hours though remember once under attack the repair mod will begin to eat more cortium and pain spires do the same with burning. If you add a vehicle bay that will also burn cortium too.

    Couldn't every other engineer put a turret there and enable every class to get in? IR just use catlike as implant?

    • @theDemolisher13
      @theDemolisher13  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes that is true but while field testing this we found 99% of players don't put that together or that the ones that do usually back off upon getting burned by the pain spiral. Furthermore once the defenders know they're trying to do that they camp the entrances as they become easy pickings

    • @theDemolisher13
      @theDemolisher13  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well it sits there as a hard spawn for friendly forces while having few blind spots. It also is a solid artillery base with walls & structures tank proof if the builder keeps up with over charging their structure shields.

    • @theDemolisher13
      @theDemolisher13  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Terminals are hackable and have huge footprints. You place them outside with a turret overlooking them or just ignore doing so all together.
      Also all base designs require flat ground to operate efficiently from threats on all sides. But sadly we have no foundation blocks to work with.
      Avoid using OSU unless you are ready for a fight they are moth magnets and you'll rarely get to use them if you're a Frontline base anyways.
