@@ZeKaiserVG I haven't yet finished watching yet just wanted to put a comment on here telling that I really like what I've seen (I am at around 3:30:24 or something and am actually going to continue watching soon after writing this comment) but I just like the plot and the general way you tell your story. In my opinion you are quite good at keeping the attention of the viewer focused on the storytelling and avoid parts that are plain and boring. In addition to that none of the plot feels forceful to keep the attention of the viewer but it feels like a story that is building up and huge decisions happen occasionally but not all the time. I might add something to this once I am finished watching but I definitely like the way you tell your stories. Oh and I also like the map, the map looking beautiful is an absolute must if I watch a mapping video so I like that.

I also wanted to ensure the viewer's time wasn't wasted, as I hate it when series (not just mapping) waste time on pointless bits that don't contribute to the plot. You may also be able to tell that I love building up intrigue and hype whenever I can.
@@eggdude-n5q Well as I said in the beginning disclaimer, part 1 (Nova Regna) took around 3 years to make. Demotivation really hit around episode 7 and 8, which was 2021-22. But ever since I'm a workaholic with this series lol

I wanted to use a lot of ideas that were not used to their full potential or not used at all (pagans, religion being a factor, monarchists, another world where mythological creatures exist, the Catholic Church etc.) and there's still more to come in Nova Terra! One theme to keep an eye on btw is the theme of predecessors and successors, and how to surpass them (in a way it’s basically what I’m trying to do, surpass previous series). As two superpowers have died, with one starting to re-emerge, the three penultimate antagonists (also representing the religions of the past, present, and future) have essentially taken their places.
42 minutes in, I really appreciate the fact you made mapping with Christian themes and doesn’t demonize the Catholic Church. I appreciate this especially as a traditional Catholic. I don’t know if you’re even a Christian at all but I really appreciated it.

I'm familiar with a lot of aspects of the Christian faith thanks to my upbringing, so you don't have to worry about me being misinformed or having malicious intent with how the faith is portrayed. The Catholic Church plot is key to the overall story, I wanted it to be reminiscent of a Shakespearean story!

@@SourMagnets I figured I'd get at least one comment like that, but at least you realize it's just for the narrative and not reflective of personal beliefs. It's more just a grand showcase of Zion's terrifying power, like the NPA's gateways or Montana manipulating almost an entire continent to go to war. You also might be able to tell that I wanted to try and leave the tragic scene in the Middle East on a faint hope, that being Saud's final prayer.

The little surprise was instead a... great surprise. It has left me not crying, but at least with a lump in my throat. The words of affection and forgiveness between these two good people deceived by the Evil. The torment, which afflicts Peter II in particular, that the Evil is now seemingly "in charge" because of being shortsighted. And yet the willingness and faith to leave everything in the hands of the Almighty. Thank you Kaiser. We needed this (at least, I needed it). Let me write down what once St. Augustine said: "the forgiveness of the Lord... that nobody can measure."

I did feel that the best way to give Nova Regna an epilogue of sorts was to bring closure between Martino and Caccia, since they did not leave off on good terms. Now the fate of the Church is unknown, but surely someone will try and do something, right?
@@ZeKaiserVG Well, the soul of Martino has been clear I reckon... "let me show you how that demon will be slaughtered" or something like that. So, now we know the end. One question, which I put down to my usual bad memory. Even Martino regrets the fact that he should have recognized the Evil among them, rather than unleashing his rage against Pope Peter II. But what might he have realized? It's not that Woelki was supporting Peter II above anything else, or secretly prodding him... P.S. As a definition, "enjoyed" that scene falls short. I "loved it" is more appropriate.
@@maxdepasquale2351 It's all in retrospect, but he knew little of the situation since Woelki and Hollerich mainly kept to themselves. As would anyone after a revelation like this, he wishes he could have done something, but as you said, there was little he could have done, especially given his age at the time.

In Catholicism, St. Peter is often thought to stand at the entrance of Heaven, welcoming the souls in there and exchanging a few words with them. I wonder what St. Peter would discuss with the two, and what he would have told the one who took his name 😀

I've watched again the sequence at the end of this great series. And just as before, I felt touched. Guess I am becoming old and sentimental.
This was very good! The only thing I got angry at was the Nukings of Mecca and Medina but this is just pure fiction
