Thanks, yes, its a relatively easy fell. If you want to do it as a straight "there and back" route it can be done from near Binsey Lodge. Thanks for commenting
Hi Andy, thats a great tip for adding something different to Binsey. I have been up and down the usual route around 3 -4 times. This gives me a better dog walk if in the area and not wanting to cover higher ground. I really enjoy your films, always said you were a natural. !
Great ever changing views off down to Bass Lake, beautiful colourful heather, what’s not to like about Binsey? I often used to finish the walk with a pint in The Pheasant Inn near the Lake. Very enjoyable once again Andy...cheers 🍺
Looks a perfect walk for Mrs Metalman, who doe not like to go too high now dues to her asthma. Looked a bit boggy, so one for a dry day I think but looked a great walk out and nice to get a quiet fell these days, cheers Alan
Thanks Alan, the easier route would be to go up from Binsey Lodge (there is parking in a layby near there) and the path is a reasonably gentle climb up direct to the summit. When I filmed this there had been heavy rain in the previous couple of days, hence the soggy conditions underfoot.
Thanks Mr Jones, yes, it can be wet in places. There is a simpler route to the top, a "there and back" route which follows an obvious path from Binsey Lodge, ideal for poorer conditions :)
Now that looks a fell well within our ability 😏👍. That heather is looking stunning. Makes us want to visit again. Thanks for sharing. 👍

It probably can get a bit boggy up there I can imagine it could get difficult in mist but like you said you could follow the wall.
