    As a non-mechanically inclined individual, I love the confidence your videos provide me to make minor upgrades/customizations to my wife’s/my Sportster. Going to order this and the oil catch-can kits for both very soon.

      That is good to hear. Glad you are finding the videos useful.
      I think you will be well pleased with both of those mods. 👍

    If these are one inch risers how are they raising the bars two inches? Am I missing something?

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you look at this link- www.dkcustomproducts.com/handle-bar-riser-kits-c16-210.htm
      You will see that there are riser extensions that are 1" in diameter, and then they are in different lengths, 1", 1.5", 2", 2.5" & 3". Depending on which ones you get they will raise the bars that much. 👍

    Will it work on a 2020 softail standard?

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you will want the "Fat" Riser Extensions, seen at the following link. The Standard has a rubber bushing in the top tree and uses a stud and a nut instead of a bolt.

    I have a 23 Harley Breakout. Do you have to extend the cables and wires with your riser extensions ?

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Most stock bikes can be raised at least 1.5" without needing to replace cables, brake lines & wiring...HOWEVER some can go higher. Check how much slack you have.

    What are the lengths of the bars, vertically and horizontally, and what is the brand and style? I'm wanting some (made) in that basic size and shape.

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are 14" bars, very adjustable. KST Kustoms Pathfinder. They are not listed as made for Sportsters, but the 1" base option will fit the Sporty.

    How about changing out to
    Low Rise bars.

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We did that with our Project 48 bike. Went with a 2" riser extension and some broomstick bars. You can see it in this video- th-cam.com/video/Vn3U1oHAOMw/w-d-xo.html

    Any plans to make the 3in spacers in chrome?

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  ปีที่แล้ว

      No. EPA has made chroming to difficult/expensive to do domestically.

      @DKCustomProducts what about a polish able aluminum like the others? I have a 2in set but think 3 would be perfect

    Do you have something for my 2023 Low Rider ST?

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I will gladly see if we have some risers compatible with your bike. First, what is the diameter of the riser at the base and how long are the current riser bolts?

    • @FREEDOMGUNNER
      @FREEDOMGUNNER 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not exactly sure. I can check when I get home. They're the stock OEM risers and handlebars. I think the diameter is 1 inch, and I believe the length is maybe 4 - 5 inches.

    • @FREEDOMGUNNER
      @FREEDOMGUNNER 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm sorry, I misread your message. The length of riser bolts, I haven't a clue. They're the stock bolts. I just bought it brand new, last week.

    • @FREEDOMGUNNER
      @FREEDOMGUNNER 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm also very interested in the gas tank lift kit, raising about 1.5" in front and maybe 1/2" in the back of tank.

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I will need the diameter of the base of the riser and the length bolt you have to determine if risers will be compatible with your bike.
      For the Tank Lift you would first need to check and make sure your tank ears are in a position that a tank lift can be installed. You can go to this link and look at the 3rd and 4th picture to see if your tank ears are compatible - www.dkcustomproducts.com/softail-milwaukee-eight-model-tank-lift-kit.htm
      You will also need to check for clearance. Checking for clearance not only allows you to insure fitment, it also allows you to see which size will look best on your bike.
      It is easy to check for clearance, Before ordering:
      1. With bike on kickstand, take the bolt out of the front of your tank.
      2. Loosen (do not remove) the bolt(s) at the rear of your tank.
      3. Turn your handlebars all the way to the left and raise the tank up your desired tank lift size to check for clearance issues.
      4. Turn your handlebars all the way to the right and raise the tank up your desired tank lift size to check for clearance issues.
      Be careful when lifting your tank, you do not want to hit against something (forks, handlebars, trees, blinkers, etc.) when checking for clearance.
      You can see the M8 Softail tank lift at the link above.
