I'm learning Watcher based on your sheet music, this is one of my favorite non-C418 Minecraft songs and it perfectly encapsulates that bittersweet empty feeling I'm all too familiar with. Thank you so much for making this arrangement, I started learning it today and I already love playing it
Per usual, minecraft has some of the best music. I particularly love the fact you can make the program add feeling to the music instead of just playing it. I'll definitely be humming this later
How do you play this first arpeggio on 3:02 ?? And the high notes from bar 117 ( 4:37 and escpeccially these high B's ) to the near end?? Please help meee, I really want to play your arrange, it's the best one i found!!!!
1) Just don't play the Eb in the countermelody, as long as you're using the pedal correctly it doesn't matter 2) Invert the chords to wherever you need them so you can also play the high notes. I didn't really add those in to be playable, but you can shift up the chords.
It is! It's tricky (no pun intended) but you can play the countermelody in both staffs with left hand, with help from the right when it's not playing the melody. I've been practicing it, and it's definitely doable
I’ll help you! Music is in a cycle of A B C D E F G and repeats. Since it repeats there are numerical values assigned to each octave so that you know which A note or C note to play. For example in the middle of the piano to the left of the two grouped black keys is C and it’s in the 4th octave so it’s called C4. The sheet music in the video is in the Grand Staff, so in the top line with the fancy curling thing (called the treble clef) the lines are the notes E G B D and F, an acronym to remember that is Every Good Boy Does Fine. The spaces between the lines are F A C E which doesn’t need an acronym since it’s easy to remember. The bottom group of lines you can figure out if you walk down from the notes you know at the top, the lines are G B D F A (Good Boys do Fine Arts) and the spaces are A C E G. If you look up a piano with notes on the keys for help you know which lines and spaces are which note now! Back to the numerical values, the first line (E4) would be in the middle of the piano, so not very high not very low, and you can base where to play the other octaves around that. Hope I didn’t confuse you more. Good luck learning!!!
hey! im trying to arrange a string quintet version of watcher based off of your arrangement, is it okay if i publish it once it’s done? i will credit you of course! :D
@@katiem.6135 thanks for the comment! i generally write sheet music to be accurate, not playable. But this one is playable. 109+ is playable if you invert the rh chords as needed. Everything else can be played with a skilled lh
I get what you're saying and I have been using the left hand to pick up notes my right one can't reach. But there are some parts like 57-68 that feel impossible unless I raise the bass notes or lower the top ones. I encounter the same kind of issue at random measures like 76 and 94.

How do you play those high notes at 1:56? I can't figure it out
Play the melody with rh, both countermelodies with lh
Wow it's so pretty how it sounds even though it's a computer playing it.
Awesome!
At 1:57 there are some quarter notes above eight notes. My music website never lets me do that. How did you?
I'm using different voices. which software are you using?

@@lItsNoah 1 being Mary had a Little Lamb and 10 being Prokofiev?? Probably about a 5.5. It takes some practice for sure but its doable
hey I was wondering if every part of this song is playable, not that you would need three hands or long fingers for specific parts.
@@groceryshoppingg i shoot for accuracy primarily. its playable, you just have to cut out a couple notes here and there

Oh for those measures just cut out the note in the countermelody that you can't play. it still sounds fine if you're using the pedal properly.
it's possible to play when you have one more hand to play the melody!!
