And who uses that smallest spoon to scoop it in each cup. Come on! Piping bags? Place in freezer 1st for a bit for some stiffness like frosting. Invester care if u make them money not ur race. A family in my area immigrated from Mexico and started selling tacos out of their backyard 15 years ago. Today, they have a local chain restaurant that has remained extremely popular through the pandemic. Minorities can be successful business people if they keep their costs low and know how to sell a good product. These people need to move to a better state and learn how to manage their overhead better.

Or a normal ice cream scoop and a spatula taped to the side of the container. The fact that they're packing these cups so slowly using these tiny spoons, in a shared kitchen, and setting up at local street events, makes it OBVIOUS why no investor is going to give them $3 MILLION. They can use the money from the sales they're making for a very easily obtainable small loan to buy a restaurant space which would have everything they're looking for, at probably under the $100k they have now. If they take over a turnkey operation, that price includes existing equipment, worktables, displays, maybe even a pre-existing customer base. Then they can stay at it for a few years to prove that they actually have the sales growth and scaleable production capacity to become a multi million dollar company. What they're doing now is basically trying to move out of a shared condo and into a mansion the day after getting promoted to manager at McDonalds.

So what’s the difference between vegan ice cream and dairy ice cream? Fat. Why does that make a difference? Milkfat is one of the most complex types of fat in the world. So what? Milkfat is already homogenized, while in a vegan recipe fats must be emulsified into the base itself. What difference does that make? Throughout the entire process of creating your vegan base you must maintain the emulsification of the fats because if they separate that will cause the ice cream to crystallize when placed in the ice cream machine. What does any of this have to do with temperature? That emulsification is solely dependent upon the amount of time the base is exposed to at a certain temperature.
Just saying buy a portable A/C is like saying you can just place a pint of completely melted ice cream in the freezer without it destroying the creaminess of the ice cream. It becomes grainy and unpalatable.
Vegan ice cream is inherently time and temperature sensitive. Owning a nice car or buying a portable A/C does absolutely nothing to negate that fact.

I think they need to efficientize their production. Even with 2 people, you shouldn't be only producing 150 of those tiny cups in a day.. If you're not getting investors, you gotta learn how to control your cash flow and profits, and invest in yourself. If you have tons of paying customers but you're not making enough profits to grow a small business like this, you're doing it wrong lol. They will be able to get the costs of production lower and reduce the costs of inputs by buying in bulk. If there is something proprietary about your process or recipes, I would look to partner with another ice-cream maker and use their resources to sell your business concept. Yes, this idea works in Malaysia. Kelava, a Malaysian coconut-based ice cream brand, distributes its products to different sellers (shops and restaurants). It's probably more cost-effective than selling ice cream out of its own shop.

Unless there's something special about this ice cream, I don't know what makes this business more worthy of a $3 million investment than any other ice cream shop.
