Thank you for this video. REALLY helped me. I've been struggling to configure one of the wireless switches. I could got get access to the double click and long click button. I watched your video several times then realized you were pressing "Smart Device" and NOT pressing "Tap to Perform" when creating the triggers on the scene. That's all it took. and Sonoff has no mention of how in their user manual. Without you I would be stuck for another long time.

home assistant, no cloud needed :) and those sonoff zigbee switches work great

If you pair the Sonoff Zigbee devices to a differrent hub they will work totally locally. It's not the switch that needs internet, just the Sonoff Zigbee hub :). I have a few Sonoff Zigbee devices paired to deConz and they work really well locally. I believe the Sonoff Zigbee hub can be flashed with different firmware to make it local control as well .
    Thanks for the great review/tutorial.

So if I have a Echo plus I do not need the Sonoff Zigbee hub right?

@@javiersiado I have not tried with an echo plus, but most likely it will pair to the echo plus fine.
      Give it a try 🙂

Do these buttons fall asleep after periods of not using it? This introduces lag on some buttons. Thanks

@@csongorvarga I managed to add the pir sensor and have it working in a scene. Where I'm stuck is when I try to add the SNZB 1 to the bridge. I did remove the cover and pressed the rst button. The red led flashes but it can't be found by the bridge

......... have you found a way to reduce the retrigger time on the PIR...(Zigbee) I am using it to switch on stair lights but is not good should you decide to return 30 seconds later it will not switch on the lights and end up walking in darkness......hehehehe
