For freezer the only devices that work for me is yolink devices. They work great in freezer and distance

Our warehouse is a large area, and we have three low-temperature refrigeration warehouses, and we need low-temperature warehouse temperature monitoring and other external temperature monitoring.

Yes, I am not sure about that. These are designed to be domestic sensors, may not go down all the way to commercial freezers, and also the battery life would be pathetic. I would probably use some wired temperature probes.

Hello, I want to install 10 SONOFF sensors inside the factory complex to monitor temperature and humidity and record and save 6 months of data with Microsoft Office Excel program, how should I organize it?

I am not sure how reliable wireless sensor will be in a factory. But if there are open spaces zigbee signal can travel far. I don't think you can find a commercial option that will create data logging for you, I would create a custom solution with node-red. I created a simple data logging example which could be useful.

Thanks for sharing. A shame that the temp sensor only goes down to -10C. I need one that I can use in my freezers. I have the Aqara units which can handle the temp. My problem is that then tend to drop off for no reason. I have them right next to the coordinator or a Zigbee device that also routes and then will just drop off. They say that I must use their hub, yet all of the other Aqara device have no issues. So until then, I am using the DHT22 connected to a D1 mini.

Oh, I did not realize there is a lower limit. Interesting. I guess the reflective film lining in certain freezer and the metal outer shell also make the RF connection to be maintained between the sensor and the coordinator.

Do they connect directly to echo 4 via zigbee, without having a sonoff zigbee gateway, in order to trigger alexa routines?

It is Zigbee compatible, therefore it should work directly with an echo, but I could not test it. If you want to use it with Alexa routines, it would be much better to connect it directly with echo. I managed to link it with Zigbee2MQTT and it was recognized.

Yes, i would like to use it for alexa routines and searching on the web i found out that the previous sonoff button (the square one) didn't connect at all to echo 4. That's why it would be usefull to see if someone manages to connect the new version to the echo 4 directly. It could be a new series idea, if you want, to try various sensors with different hubs. 😊 Thank for your reply though.

@@lp4854 The thing is, that there is no Amazon service where I live. This is why I started with Google. I am not even sure if I can order a echo to where I live. Therefore I leave this for somebody else to test.
