Nice. Enjoy. I got the Wolverine 850 X2 a couple months ago. First mod was to override the seatbelt and I got those filler panels too from the same company. Seem to work good at keeping mud and snow from getting way up in there. 👍

I have this same 2022 machine in the 2 seater version (bought it late November). Love it so far. Bought it mainly for work and some play. My cabin is up high near the top of a mountain and the terrain is steep up there, so I needed something with real 4x4 capabilities, and this has it for sure.

@@OdysseyOffroad Got to test it out in some major snow/ice and it did great. It's about 2 miles down to get to the valley and out to main roads and it did awesome both down and back up. Some areas are 12-13% grade and it made it no problem (just had to keep at least 2 tires of the ice at any time of course). Overall I am really impressed and happy with this thing. I installed the OEM glass windshield and soft rear window and that combo has been great as well (keeping the really cold wind and snow off of me).

Hard to see, but are they any manual adjusters on the shocks left? Like anyway to adjust the rebound still on the bottom of the shock or are you stuck with just a soft, medium or stiffer compression switch on the dash and that’s it…. You’d think by now these companies would have fullly done up shocks with hi and low speed compression, rebound and ride height

    • @OdysseyOffroad

Am also looking at a 2021 3 seater Viking for less that half the price...of the Viking had a bigger motor, I'd probably buy it. Good move man. GREAT move. You're gonna love that thing. Here's the thing, used KRX are getting cheaper every day. We have twin 9 year old boys and I have a 17 year old son from a previous relationship who is with me full time. My oldest rides his yz 250 2 stroke, and the twins are getting to the point where they wanna ride with big bro. So if I was you, I'd look for a used 2 seater hot rod for when you and the wife just go out for a rip. The back seats in these things are to small to have any fun in anyway if you know what I'm saying. Enjoy brother. You own a Yamaha now.

I mean, if you're a guy that was fast at one time, had a couple kids, and wants to get back into it, yeah, I'd definitely say 450. I own a 2021 yz450f and I just bought a brand new 2023 yz250 2 stroke. My 450 has a thick ass layer of dust (hypothetical dust of course) on it because the 250 is just, SOOOO MUCH MORE FUN!!! Plus I know when I do burn the top end up, it won't be a weekend job getting everything rebuilt and squared away. I bleed blue man. I won't have anything but Yamaha in my garage. They've taken such good care of my family and I since I was on a 1996 yz80. I get basically employee pricing, I got my 250 for $7800 otd. You keep saying how much you like the KRX. My sister owns one and they are a tank. But you are going to quickly find out how much better the RMAX is built. It doesn't have all the annoying suspension, creaks, squeaks, rattles, ETC. It has more power and the drive modes are awesome in the way the rig handles the different terrain, It has smooth shifting, Smooth power all the way up. As for comfort we ride all day and have very little fatigue, another plus if you like to ride all day. We ride allot of different terrain and I have to say it impresses me every ride we go on. A Jeep or truck weigh far more when compared, they are much slower, worse suspension, far bigger in size and Jeeps and trucks aren’t allowed everywhere a UTV/SXS are allowed. These fit in the back of Toy hauler or almost any trailer whereas the Jeeps or trucks don’t.

The back seat's not bad at all. The problem with the four seat Yamaha is the rear suspension travel and sitting on top of the rear wheels but for a slower more technical trail riding it's a great machine a family. The back seat of the Yamaha is not meant to fit adults it's meant to put your kids back there That being said even an average size adult fits back there no problem
