Wow! For a flight that is only 1hr and 30 mins and they still serve food. All Asian airlines serve food even though they have short flights. This is way better compare to western flights.
For me Asiana is among the world's best Airlines when it comes to economy. It's just an amazing product and most important of all their crews are always taking care of you (yes I'm watching you Emirates)
Legroom looks great!! There were problems about the pilot training a few years ago. You must love the Viennese music? Wow!! 1 1/2 hour flight you get all this food! Love it.

I saw HL8359 on May 11th this year. I like it as it has the number `359` from its registration `HL8359` on its forward landing gear doors, which is also the aircraft type. It`s a beautiful bird.

Try one of their long haul flights on the a350 and see what service really means. I'll take their a350's any day before anything Boeing makes.

9:33 that taxiway that leads nowhere is probably for security reasons, so that if for example there is an attempted hijacking, the airplane can go somewhere isolated, so that the threat can be dealt with as far away from the airport as possible. (Athens International has a similar thing, which was pointed out during a recent tour that I went to with my University)
I was going to say exactly the same thing. Very wise and one of those things that seems like a waste until one day you really, really need it. Thankfully most of the time its used for some idiot that has made a bad joke. Here in London I've heard Stanstead is used for such occasions, which is even better because you are in the middle of nowhere to begin with! P.S. Absolutely love Athens - was so fortunate to visit last year with my boss. Having never visited, I was a bit worried with all the press and austerity etc, but I found a great city, with great people, culture, food, and generally everything. Also the airport was very good and I had the best short-haul flights of my life with Aegean.

While on the tour, the airport's shift manager who was with us (really nice guy btw) was recounting how many things had happened while he, in particular, was on shift. One of those occasions was a Turkish airlines flight in 2003, where a man strapped himself with wax candles, which looked like explosives, and demanded to be taken to Berlin. The airplane didn't have enough fuel, so it had to make a refueling stop in Athens.When they landed(and taxied at that spot on the runway) , he let all the passengers and cabin crew to go, keeping only the pilots hostage, who realized what happened after the wax started melting (as the a/c was off). He was also on shift on the first A380 that ever came to Greece, had make an emergency landing due to two passengers suffering strokes(We now have a A380 daily from and to Doha, at least in the summer season). And other stories like that. As far as the airport, it's great for a category 2 (
9:30 Maybe it’s considered remote parking if say a plane comes under a bomb threat or hijacking? Far enough away from the terminal to not overly effect airport operations?
Meanwile on Lufthansa: "Sir, would you like to get some tomatoe juice and s dry sandwich? It is free!! Even though we are a 5-Star Airline and Swiss, Edelweiss and Austrian, which are in Lufthansa group, offers way more food and bevareges on such a flight, we don´t care!" At least it feals like that when you fly from like Frankfurt to Copenhagen or anywhere elso within Europe or northern Africa

A350’s are really y’all for height,I went on an a350 Qatar airways from Doha to London (transit) and it was literally like a 5 story building with gears!

You know- everyone seems to marvel at the GE90 on the 777-300's but this plane and the 787 are so much quieter. I was on an EVA 777-300 and the spool up of that engine was unbelievably loud and rough. Huge amount of vibration . I avoid that aircraft and engine when I can.
The 300er range is more quiet. In my experience the a350 is very loud when you travel at front. I will take the 787 any day also how very good and fresh you are. Like everyone, the only thing is the legroom and the 3-3-3 configuration. I don't understand why arlines are so disobedient. The 787 is sopossed to be 2-3-2, not 3

강남항공 I think not. WestJet is a low fare airliner but Asiana is not a low fare airliner. Also, Asiana is a 5 Star airliner while Korean Air stays at 4 star airliner.

I don't think so. They are probably going to switch owner but they are among the best parts of the Asiana Group. At least I hope so. My only flight with them was one of the best flights in my entire life.

Wasn’t impressed with Pudong. From the big brother security set up in a transit to the cheap rolled linoleum floor it was underwhelming.
