I'm pretty bummed about Pocket Camp. It is my favorite way to mindlessly click on my phone. And using up the stockpiled leaf tickets and reissue material?! But to what end if it all is going away...
It was stated by Nintendo in the Pocket Camp FAQ and I believe on socials that the new version of the app will be paid with no micro transactions. There will be no Leaf Tickets; but you can transfer your data over to the new app as long as you linked a Nintendo account. They also released more information today that basically stated what we already knew: You can transfer your items, clothes, villagers, bugs, fish, Bells, etc. over, but no more Leaf Tickets, paid subscription plans will also go away, and we're under the assumption they may do away with fortune cookies unless they make them available via crafting or Bells.
@@Mallowolf Any time! I covered this a few weeks ago on my gaming channel, DiannaPlaysGames. If you're having issues linking your Nintendo account, I recommend trying to reach out to their support team. They may be able to help!
Fortune cookies are staying, theyre apart of the game and have also stated all items that have debuted these last 7yrs will also be in the game(excluding some, most likely sanrio). Also that new items will be added at set specific times
I loved playing pocket camp when i was in college but it eventually stopped being played cuz I have android, so the fact that pocket camp is ending isnt overly sad to me. I do miss the game but I hope that I can play the newer version
As a cooldown for people worried: They've stated that if you link your account to a nintendo account, you can transfer your save data to this new offline version. All of your stuff will transfer over(furniture, animals, bug, crafting etcetc) all of it. Along with that, every item from the last 7yrs will be in the game too, which means old events will be there to collect old items and ofc fortune cookies, terrains etcetc. Everything will be earnable in-game no IAP's. They also stated at the end of the news that there will be new items added at set specific times too, so the offline version will still be a good game to sink into!
This is how you end a live service mobile game, no the new version of Pocket Camp will be paid, and I applaud that as that will give them an incentive to make a good game, they have already said Ned items will be added in the paid app in a fixed time schedule, like they did with New Horizons. We could have gotten the news that the game is just shutting down, and everything will go away, but no we get to keep almost everything. The only thing not transferable is leaf tickets as they are not used, and items that needs a constant internet connection like friend gifts. It’s sad, but it’s also a good thing Nintendo does here. ❤️
From Kora’s time zone (Eastern Daylight Savings Time), JST is 13 hours ahead. From BST, JST is 8 hours ahead. Calculate from there accordingly (I used the weather app for Toronto, London UK/Galway IE, Fukuoka JP).
Pocket Camp going down might be a Nintendo precaution for the current campaign against live service games going on in Europe or maybe the developers are going to work on smth else
i started with botw :) its open world and with some tutorials you can get through the hard parts :) otherwise i would say link’s awakening but it depends what kind of game you’re looking for
I really want to know why the creators of animal crossing keep abandoning all their popular games so early like everybody's still having fun with all their games and they keep abandoning them so so early I'd really like to know why
Abandoning? They've pretty much always been single releases that run for a whole yearly schedule. The idea of games constantly updating is pretty new, and has only really applied to New Horizons. You can't really say they keep doing it when they've done it once, and even in that case they've done more than they ever used to.
@BardianAngel I disagree with this take. Updates are not a new thing. I think animal crossin is great being updated and would benefit the series greatly if done right. Games like splatoon, smash bros, and mario kart 8 have gotten updates, cause of replayability. For games like botw, mario wonder, pikmin etc, it makes sense for those games to not receive content updates, they're meant to be tied to a story.
Right, but we were talking about animal crossing not any of those other series. Of course what i says make less sense if you imagine i'm talking about something else... but i wasn't.

Right? And you still get the option to buy leaf tickets and monthly plans. Hey, Nintendo…?!
“pam in fortnite” im already scared

Thanks for the extra info! I’ll be not been able to link my Nintendo account (I get an error message) and was wondering I’d miss anything.

Shashingo is very fun! i'm not a language learning person but i really enjoyed it as a scavenger hunt game and memorization game.

Well here’s pocket camp after pocket camp 😂
The lego sets are really not that bad. My daughter has bought a few of them and they are pretty nice. At least we think so.
Imagine pam coming up to you and shotgunning you in the face. Stardew really is a horror game.

Which Zelda game should a beginner play first without a lot of difficulty because of my anxiety.

The cozy corner: episode Pam in fortnite
I am living for this 🎉✨
the difference between fire emblem gatcha and pocket camp gatcha is that you get a png your anime character in an Outfit™
I already have a Fauna minifig and now Tangy? I'm in. (BTW, I do let my Fabuland minifigs hang out with the AC minifigs. It just works.)
As long as you dont spell it Kora's Kozy Korner, 'cause that would be an awkward acronym.
The pocket camp new app will be paid
