Although I find it interesting watching these videos, I do want to make the point that singing higher doesn't automatically make some one a better singer. It can show power in their range, but their technicality is more important, cause one may be able to scream a high note, but another may be able to support a note lower which is the preferred option (not just saying for our ears, but for the singers throat). For example the way Park HyoShin can support his notes in Wildflower, all while not taking a breath between, is crazy impressive.
Yeah I agree with you, but I think almost all the singers in this video have that skill. All they have good technique, if you listen them (singing full songs, not only high notes parts) you will accepte it. Of course for me too Park Hyo SHin` is the best of best. And maybe only Lee Hyuk and those guys from fantastic duo aren`t emough good .(for me of course)

Extreme because can sing high with strain (just some of them)? The one from mask singer is really ugh i mean he's a male and can belt mix to G5 and A5? Even it's so rare to find female can support and resonance up to E5 currently
he is Ha Hyun Woo. Yes, mix up to A5, very extensive range for a tenor. He can support and resonant up to A4. I would say the first singer ( Park Hyo Shin who can resonant all the way up to C5 ) and the 4th singer ( Jung Dong Ha who resonant Bb4/B4 mix and A5 head voice ) is extreme. Also in the end of video ( 5:36 ) that is a supported and resonant G5 of Lee Hyuk. a note many soprano couldn't dream to sing
Like i mean why they do that like making to that high while the soprano themself cant really do that. That's too much. Yeah maybe until E5 is still ok. By the way if they forced too often without develope it, they can get damage tho. It strains too much no matter it's heady mix or what, more if they only support not that high too what they can make.

Great video. But I can't seem to find yoon min soo in here? He's my favourite one. I'm currently hooked up to I am a singer (China) 2017 because of Dimash. These are the people whose vocal level is comparable to Dimash's. Honestly saying I think Korean vocals are way more powerful and have wider range than Chinese (I'm not either Korean or Chinese so I don't have any bias towards either ethinicity). Listening to other Chinese singers always make me feel underwhelmed and not so interested (except terry Lin). I guess Chinese aren't used to listening all these high pitches and so they are not able to appreciate such singers who are able to deliver high notes (countertenors) very well.

Frankly, I also think Dimash is the best singer ever! and I have yet to see anyone who sings even as close as to either one of his ranges (baritone/ tenor/ countertenor). Dimash Daebak!!
littlecouch87 Dimash have very good range and technique, but he has a few flaws too mainly lack of versatility and his pronounciations are not quite there. But still I think he can and he will improve, he seems like a very hard working guy. In regards to your comment on Chinese singers, check out Jane Zhang. I think she's pretty good, I saw her cover of Diva Plavalaguna's song.

Dimash have quite average lower range, only supported up to Eb4/E4 in mix, from E4 - A4/B4 he pushed down the larynx to add fake weight to his voice, he try to sound like a dramatic tenor in opera but no,just a froggy and fake "soulful" tone and that bad for his voice. his mix from C5 to B5 sound so thin and tight, he squeeze his voice too much ... his headvoice is the only good register but pushed and shrill above G5/G#5. In this video, Lee Hyuk resonant a G5 in mix, Hyoshin resonant all the way up to C5 and Jung DongHa have supported A5 in headvoice ... they will kill Dimash Show less REPLY

Moon Myungjin (along with Roy Kim) has such a nice voice... it's clean and sexy. Guys wanna have that voice haha Jung Dongha is like the tougher version of Mr. Moon. i always love Dongha tho. Park Hyoshin is just legendary Seo Jian is also great. His cover of Bolton's song is just amazing Add: Hwanhee, Roy Kim Kim Bumsoo Naul are also great. My least favorite is Ha Hyunwoo. I have nothing against him but his voice is just not to my liking x-x
Korean composer signed with Dimash Kudaibergen. Let's see what happens. And how Dimash sounds in Korean will be interesting to me. But still I think that the Korean market of music industries is not for him.
Most of them strain like hell, but I think that most of them should be able to support their higher notes (top notes excluded).. it's their "rock attitude" that makes them strain and scream. Most american rockstars with wide ranges strain and scream like hell as well. For example Lee hyuk can resonate on a high G, but most of the time he "chooses" not to.

Most of them strain like hell, but I think that most of them should be able to support their higher notes (top notes excluded).. it's their "rock attitude" that makes them strain and scream.
Most american rockstars with wide ranges strain and scream like hell as well.
For example Lee hyuk can resonate on a high G, but most of the time he "chooses" not to.
