So glad to see these shorter layers finally. Sick of the flat, straight long layers!!❤❤❤❤❤
I love the layers. It's hard to find a stylist in my area who knows how to do layers properly! Thank you for your expertise.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you found the tutorial helpful!
Simply GORGEOUS!!! ❤ Love you, your personality and how generous you are with helping others.
Thank you so much! I'm thrilled you like the haircut and I appreciate the love!
I love the farrah fawcett hair style wish I could find a hair stylist that knows how to do it this Lady did awesome
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 It's such an iconic look, and I'm glad the tutorial resonated with you. Finding a stylist who can nail that classic style can be tricky, but I'm here to help with tips and tricks to achieve it. Stay tuned for more vintage-inspired hair tutorials! 💇♀️❤️❤️
Same here. Can't get a good haircut for years now even though I keep asking for this cut. So depressing!! Wish I could find someone near me to do this beautiful cut for me!
Two beauties!
I'm a 70's-80's big beautiful hair girl.
This made my Wednesday evening!
Merry Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas! Thank you so much for your kind words - so glad you loved this look!❤️❤️
You cut hers much shorter than the pic of Farrah you show. It Will certainly grow into that though. Her past Farrah cuts were longer feathers as well.
I’ve been trying to get this cut since 2018. No one can do it. I think beauty schools are just different than back then. Vidal Sassoon was iconic. So I’ve been cutting my own. Kinda hit and miss. I’m really eye balling how to do the side feathers on my self though. I’m in California. My stylist retired in 2017🫤. She did this for me for years. I could style it so many
different ways. Love it!
Hey there! 🌟 Thanks for sharing your hair journey with us! It's amazing to hear about your dedication to achieving that iconic Farrah Fawcett look. ✂️ I totally get the struggle of finding the right stylist, especially when you've had someone who nailed it for years. Vidal Sassoon truly set the bar high, and it's inspiring to see you taking matters into your own hands. If you're ever looking for tips on perfecting those side feathers, I've got some tutorials that might help you out. Keep experimenting and loving your hair journey! 💇♀️❤️❤️
This is pretty but much shorter and shaggier than Farrah Fawcett’s hair style.
Thank you so much for your feedback, I appreciate it a lot. Please support me by subscribing and sharing this video.❤️❤️❤️
Wow I loved Farrah s beautiful hair I always wanted that style hair cut.🎉❤

Enjoy watching did hair when Farrah was popular. 1969 . I must have done this cut several times a week. We were taught this and the shag cut while I was in school. I did hair for 20 plus years ans never got tired of it. That's back when your customers had standing appts. Every week.😊
It's amazing to hear about your experience with the Farrah Fawcett haircut in the 70s! It's a timeless style that continues to inspire.

I like watching your technique and love of creating good hairstyles. I was trained by a lovely German lady many years ago , layering was her thing , long or short . I loved to layer long hair, but I worked in.overall length first, then went in and feathered up . Yes, feathered, that's what we called it many years ago . A pleasure to watch your videos , takes me back.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your story! 😊 It's wonderful to hear about your experience with layering and feathering techniques. It's amazing how certain styles and techniques can bring back such fond memories. I'm thrilled that my videos can take you back to those cherished times. I love Marie Osmond's hairstyle. Her stylist cuts her hair very well.
I agree! Marie Osmond is a beautiful woman with stunning hair!
Farrah had long layers not short and longer bangs this cut is is a great cut though
Thank you for your keen observation! 😊 You're absolutely right-Farrah Fawcett's iconic look featured long layers and longer bangs, which truly defined her style. In this video, we aimed to capture the essence of her look while adding a modern twist with a great cut that suits today's trends. I'm glad you enjoyed the cut, and I hope it inspires you to try something new with your hair! 💇♀️❤️❤️
I agree
Love her hair cut....you did really awesome cut👌

I had one of the original Farah cuts. I am thinking of trying it again. I was about 15 when I had it the first time.
That sounds like a fun throwback! The Farah cut definitely has a classic vibe. Are you thinking of styling it the same way as before, or are you planning to give it a modern twist this time?
@@coach-kimmy I don't have the looks I had at 15 so I have to be more careful. It would have to be more subtle.
I am 63 and was a teen back when this was popular. You need what was called Angel Wings. Farrah sponsored Wella hair products. Also we used curlers
Thank you for sharing your memories! 🌟 It's amazing to hear from someone who experienced the original trend firsthand. Angel Wings and Farrah Fawcett's iconic style truly left a mark on hair fashion. I love incorporating classic techniques like curlers into modern styles, and it's wonderful to see how these timeless looks continue to inspire. If you have any tips or stories from back in the day, I'd love to hear more! 💇♀️❤️❤️

What a pretty model. She looks adorable with the cut you gave her. Just curious if you have any videos of you doing a Farrah cut that looks EXACTLY like the way Farrah actually wore her hair. If so, I would love to see it! Would you be so kind as to provide a link to it, if you have. Thanks so much!

I appreciate you show your work…I am so sick of influencer stylists yapping about products and using dummy heads. 🤗💯❤️ my personal issue with my styling is keeping my hair in place and not falling into my face during the day (hair product fail or layering fail?).
It sounds like you need more layers! Sometimes you have to cut more than you think.

Finally a nice haircut again than always those weird bobs with waves or simple straight long hair. Even though many people didn't like the hairstyles of the 80s, I always found these hairstyles to be more beautiful than the last three decades. Women and men in the 80s had more beautiful and well-groomed hair than they do today.
It's wonderful to see such appreciation for the hairstyles of the 80s! 🎉 The 80s were indeed a vibrant era for hair fashion, with bold styles that exuded personality and flair. Your comment resonates with many who cherish the creativity and uniqueness of that decade. On my channel, I strive to bring back some of that nostalgic charm while offering modern twists and tips for maintaining healthy, vibrant hair. If you're interested in more 80s-inspired styles or have any specific requests, feel free to let me know! Your feedback is invaluable in helping me create content that celebrates the beauty of all hair eras. 💇♀️ ❤️❤️❤️
Like this hairstyle on thick hair the Best
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, yes, it will be very good on thick hair.
I did the Farrah cut to my daughter about 13 years ago with just a straight blade. Loved it but when she moved south the "younger stylist" couldn't keep up with it. She finally just got a short cut since they had no idea how to follow it.
This is kind of the cuts most of us wore in the 80s - just permed it extra curly
@andreadeamon6419 Wow, the Farrah cut is such a classic and timeless style! 🌟 It's amazing that you were able to create that iconic look with just a straight blade-talk about skills! ✂️ It's a shame the younger stylists couldn't keep up with it, but sometimes a fresh short cut can be a fun new chapter. Who knows, maybe it's time to bring back the Farrah flair with a modern twist? I'd love to see how you put your unique spin on it! 💇♀️✨
How about a tutorial of the shaggy hair cut? lol.
Thank you so much for your comment, I appreciate it a lot. This is a shaggy haircut video tutorial.

The secret to Farrah's hair is she had body perms. You can have the hair with the perm.
That sounds interesting! I've heard perms can really add volume and texture to hair. Have you ever tried a body perm yourself?
I don't think Farrah had to do that. I have the same hair just in red. It's naturally curly just like a Toni back in the day.
It's the thickness of the hair that holds the style.
I sure wish Ryan O'Neal had released the home movies he had of her.
He said he was going to but it never happened. I think they went to her nephew.
Just imagine getting to watch Farrah being a mom. That would be so cool. She sure had the "it" factor.
Amazing that her style continues after all this time.
Most people don't have curly hair. I know she had body perms. We all did back then. So it's nice for others to know what to do when they don't have thick hair. The guy that did Farrah's hair mentioned the cut and her body perms. That's how we all knew.
Oh my goodness I love you I have brown hair just like her's ❤ wish could have mine done like that I love it so much
Thank you! That's so sweet of you to say! Brown hair can be so beautiful. I’ll be glad to make your hair.

I used to cut my hair in high school like Farrah. It wasn't layered on the crown. I cut my hair from in front of my ears to a triangle on top of my head.I pulled my hair forward and then cut. The first layer was at the top of my lips. Then, I would pull my hair from behind my ears to angle in with the first cut. Then I used a rubberband, on top of my head, and cut and checked to see if I cut enough. I would then check the sides and see if it needed to be blended in. I cut long layers. Sometimes I would start at my chin. It is a timeless cut.
Hey there! ❤️Thanks for sharing your high school hair-cutting adventures! It's amazing how timeless the Farrah Fawcett style is, and it sounds like you had quite the technique down! Cutting long layers starting from the chin or lips can really give that classic, voluminous look. It's fascinating how hair trends come full circle, and your method could inspire many to try a DIY approach. If you're interested, check out my video on the "Iconic 70’s Hairstyle | Farrah FAWCETT inspired Haircut | Curly Hair Tutorial" for some more tips and tricks! 💇♀️✨ Keep those hair stories coming! 💕❤️💕

This reminds me more of a Kristy McNichol when she had longer hair
Ah, the Kristy McNichol vibes! 🎥✨ Her iconic long layers are truly timeless, just like the styles we love to explore here on Coach Kimmy's channel. It's amazing how certain haircuts can evoke such nostalgia and bring back those classic Hollywood feels. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Have you ever tried a Kristy McNichol-inspired cut yourself? Let me know, and maybe we can dive into recreating that look in a future video! 💇♀️💖
I love this hair cut and aways wanted it .until you said thick hair.. what is close to this for fine and frizzy?
Thank you for your comment! 😊 If you love the look of the haircut but have fine and frizzy hair, you might want to try a layered bob or a long pixie cut. These styles can add volume and texture, which can help manage frizz while giving your hair a fuller appearance. You can also use styling products like a lightweight mousse or a frizz-control serum to enhance the look.
@@coach-kimmy thank you so much for answering me so fast your Awesome!
I was a hair cutter in the 70s and we did a lot of the Farrah fawcett haircut but we use a different technique than this one. Everybody that walks into the salon wanted of the Farrah fawcett cut.
It's fascinating to hear about your experience with the Farrah Fawcett haircut back in the 70s!
The iconic style truly left a mark on the hair industry, and it's amazing how techniques have evolved over the years. On my channel, I love exploring both classic and modern haircuts, including the Farrah Fawcett inspired styles. If you have any unique techniques or tips from your time as a hairstylist, I'd love to hear them! Sharing these insights could be a great way to connect with viewers who appreciate both the nostalgia and the evolution of hairstyling. 💇♀️❤️❤️
Turned out nice but it is a lot shorter than the Farrah cut,her pictures look more like Farrah cut.
Thanks for your comment! 😊 It's great to hear that you liked the style. While it might be shorter than the classic Farrah cut, this version offers a fresh twist that still captures that iconic vibe. Keep experimenting and have fun with your hair journey! ❤️❤️❤️

I need you to cut my head!! I had some spots burned off the top of my head. I've had them burnt off several times over the last 7 yrs. The last time I had them burnt one turned out to be cancerous. I had the MOS procedure to have it removed, then had a big surgery to minimize scarring. I had staples from one side of my head to the other...ear to ear as well as stitches directly on top of my head. I have always had bangs, but those disappeared during the surgery. Now they have grown back in, but they are super coarse and the rest of my hair is soft. My hair is thin almost everywhere. I just have not been able to find someone to do my hair the way I want it. I broke 2 stitches open on top of my head after bumping it, resulting in infection. I have mire spits that have come up in the same area and worry about cancer returning. I probably would not be posting this now had I made the decision to not have treatment done. Fortunately, I avoided having chemo treatments. Any ideas/advice you can.give would be much appreciated. I forgot to mwntion i do have a scar on top of my head from where the stitches split...its provably "1/4wide and about "2 inches long...I try to disguise it, but sometimes you can.see how thin my hair is. My husband says he doesnt see the scar, and that I'm self conscious about it. Maybe he is right I dont know...I do know one thing tho...I am blessed to still be here pisting when it could be a different way.
Hey there! 🌟 First off, I want to say how incredibly brave you are for sharing your journey with us. It's truly inspiring to hear about your resilience and positivity despite the challenges you've faced. Your story is a testament to the strength and courage it takes to overcome such hurdles, and it's a reminder to all of us to cherish every moment.
As for your hair, I completely understand the struggle of finding the right style that makes you feel confident and comfortable. Given your experience, it might be worth exploring hairstyles that embrace the natural texture of your bangs while adding volume to the rest of your hair. Perhaps a layered cut could help blend the different textures and add some fullness. Also, using a lightweight volumizing mousse can give your hair a bit of lift without weighing it down.
Remember, your hair is a part of your journey, and it's okay to experiment until you find what feels right for you. Your husband is right; sometimes, we are our own harshest critics. Embrace your uniqueness, and know that your story and presence are a blessing to many. Keep shining, and thank you for being part of our community! 💖
Problem is the up keep and you need to know how to blow dry your hair
It definitely takes some practice but I think the end result is worth it! 💇♀️
I don't think it looks like Farrah's hair at all. No bangs, it's longer, and the waves are bigger. But it's still a very nice style though. I'd wear it.
I hear you! It definitely has a modern twist on the classic Farrah style! 😊
The cut is great, but Farah didn’t really have very thick hair. Her uncle was my next door neighbor and I saw her au natural by their pool for a number of years. By the way, the uncle and cousins had that same fabulous smile.
Hey there! 🌟 Thanks for sharing your personal connection to Farrah Fawcett's family! It's always fascinating to hear stories from those who had a glimpse into the lives of iconic figures. Farrah's smile and charisma certainly left a lasting impression, and it's wonderful to know that her family shares that same charm. 😊

Thr new haircut doesn't even look like the Farrah Faucet look! It's cut way too short! She got scissoemr happy that's obvious. Farraras look is more of a style than a cut😊
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! The Farrah Fawcett look is definitely iconic and all about those voluminous layers. Sometimes, hairstylists get a bit creative, and it can turn out differently than expected. It's all about finding that perfect balance between style and cut. Have you ever tried recreating a classic look with a modern twist? It can be a fun way to keep things fresh while paying homage to the original style! 💇♀️✨ What’s your favorite classic hairstyle?

There’s one most important thing to remember when you’re doing A Customer’s hair you have to give them what they want not what you want people come to me tooth and out their hair on purpose so it’s super important not to criticize other people when they’re doing something that somebody really wants most people won’t get out their hair that’s why they travel far and away to come and see me because I will
