Awesome video! When it comes to turning color images to black and white, how do you decide between using a black and white gradient vs the black and white adjustment layer?
great question! I feel like it's personal preference, I generally prefer gradient map because creating the contrast makes more sense to me with different shades of grey. I will use black/white adjustment sometimes directly on an image, when I'm planning on blending it in anyway and don't care too much about the amount of contrast (or am ok with the image as-is, just want a quick greyscale version)
