@@stonerslawth6258 to be fair, once you get used to playing Kenshi, its quite easy. There is always the same strategy. Based on starting point you either run away somewhere else or stay at the same location if it's good, then mine copper. Earn some money, recruit new people, build a makeshift base near copper and iron, and start making weapons. Sell weapons, earn more money. Recruit few mercenary squads to guard your base, leave few people to work on stuff, hire 1-2 to accompany your exploration squad (tech hunters are imo the best for that), and go exploring with them. Get new plans and schematics, and once you got good enough schematics, and leveled your people enough, you can move out wherever you like to build a real outpost. Then it's just downhill to explore the world and there is not really much else to it. Well, technically you can also get into faction wars, but personally I found it to be quite hard, unless you got an experienced army, and to get enough recruits and get them skilled enough for war takes a lot of time. Personally, besides faction wars, I did all of mentioned above. The base in Mongrel was really something unique for me. Hidden fortified outpost with 1 entrance. Best smith, making Edge Walker weaponry, and 2 workers making armor. After some time, traders in Mongrel were selling best weapons and armor on entire island. Btw. Now that I'm talking about it, I was politically active in the south. Went on campaign against United Cities in the region, assaulted slaver camps, and liberated cities in the region. And Catun was completely destroyed 😂 To be fair, I wanted to put Catun Scrapmasters out of business. Cause after Catun gone, guess what. My faction was the only one mass producing weapons. Edge Walker II-III, made by Salamis of Technocrats. She was that humanoid race with dark skin and white hair (sorry, forgot the name of their subrace). And yeah. I must say, I really liked how your characters get more muscular, the skilled in combat they are. You can really see the progress from them being weak, to them being strong, skilled and experienced people.
