Hi, it's not just you! NPCs' lines in New Vegas (and Oblivion and Fallout 3) are all tagged with an "emotion" that modifies the facial expression they're making (though many, many lines are marked neutral). The Fallout Wiki has awesome dialogue charts with some technical information for each line, including the emotion each line is tagged with! The line you timestamped in your comment is marked "Digust." I believe emotions are all on a scale from 1-100, too, with neutral being 50 and negative and positive emotions being lower and higher than 50, respectively, but I think that's just for ease of implementation on the devs' part.

Fallout 3 is so boring and has a lame story. Fallout 1, 2, and New Vegas were light years better than 3. HBomberGuy has a great video on why Fallout 3 is bad.

@@FightIdiocracy all of those are much better than 3, but people forget that without 3 there'd be no NV. All the assets are fo3, and there's a lot of other similarities people forget about. The DLC also saves fo3 imo. It has some of the best DLC and honestly gives you the most bang for your buck out of the entire franchise.
@@heebiejeebies4625Old World Blues and Honest Hearts alone are better than all of FO3 and it’s DLCs. I would know, I have both games and all DLCs.
FO3 crawled on crippled limbs so NV could sprint at full speed.

Great irony is the way the Legion pronounces Caesar is actually closer to how it's meant to be pronounced historically. Despite the game kind of tries to convince the player that it's completely incorrect to pronounce it the way the Legion does, implying the Legion are semi educated losers. Metatron an Italian who is an export on Rome actually points out the proper pronunciation of Caesar does have an "I" sound in place of the "ae" which is quite surprisingly.
