I am a Navy vet from Chicago and I recall how shocked I was witnessing flying fish in the Pacific Ocean. The other thing thst scared me at first was witnessing dolphins swim at night under certain conditions. They appeared as neon green streaks in the water. I was told those particular weather condition, and the friction of them swimming caused the green glowing appearance. I only seen it once in my many cruises though.

    • @edwardthames9003
      @edwardthames9003 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

Oh yeah I forgot to mention it was told to me at the time that a particular type of algae in the water along with the friction of them swimming so fast through the water causes the mysterious neon green glow. The ocean can be so dark at night that you can't tell they are dolphins because you only see the beautiful green streaks criss crossing in the water kind of like some laser lights from a Star Wars movie. I was on the Porr side bridge-wing by myself when I first witnessed it and had no idea of what it was. I ran back into the pilot house sort of scared to get everyone to come out and look at it. I was fresh in the Navy at the time and I believe it was one of the officers that explained it all to me. I believed we illuminated some lights over the side and that's when you could see that they were dolphins. They were other amazing sights this kid from the Southside of Chicago witnessed in various oceans around the world that changed my understanding forever.

Grass is a type of plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in places such as lawns and parks. Grass is usually the color green. Grasses are monocotyledon herbaceous plants. The grasses include the "grass" of the family Poaceae. This family is also called Gramineae. The family also include some of the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae). These three families are not closely related but all of them belong to clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a common life-style.
The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others.
Many grasses are short, but some grasses can grow tall, such as bamboo. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places and make grasslands, including areas which are very arid or cold. There are several other plants that look similar to grass and are referred to as such, but are not members of the grass family. These plants include rushes, reeds, papyrus and water chestnut. Seagrass is a monocot in the order Alismatales.
Grasses are an important food for many animals, such as deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows. This is a part of why the plants are successful. Without grass, soil may wash away into rivers (erosion).

I mean, you have to gut the fish at some point, you do not want to eat that. Doing it right in the water makes it easier to clean out the cavity properly and it leaves some food behind for the other creatures allowing for zero waste. The fish is dead by then, so it only looks brutal when in fact it's just mechanical.

@@mrgalaxy396plus brutality is natural anyway. There's plenty of animals that eat their prey alive. So humans doing something brutal is not unique to humans. We're animals just like anything else and have the right to kill/provide for ourselves whatever way best suits us. What great about this video is that you don't have vegetarians and vegans complaining about something like eating meat which is is normal and a God Given right to do.
About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”
14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”
15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”
16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.

Eow mahi mahi are beautiful!. Also, love the way you clean fish to see what they are eating, i used to do that to see what they are eating so i would know what's goid bait to use. My friends and family called me basically a nut job, until i started catching all the fish, then they thought there mist be something to what i was doing.

Was waiting for a shark to pop out the shadows when he started gutting the fish in the water 👀

I thought the same thing. I would never gut a fish while I am in the ocean.

Yes, because they can magically teleport themselves across the ocean

@@kurtsudheim825 why would they need to teleport they're already in the ocean? And they can detect chum much further out than you can see them, even in clear water. Wouldn't be the first and certainly wouldn't be the last spearfisher that gets surprised by a pelagic shark.

@@kurtsudheim825 ahhh yes, because every shark must of been “across” the ocean 🤔

@@nichfra thats actually a misconception. yes shark noses are WAY more poweful and sensitive than ours but its still a nose and it still works in the same way (remember we used to be fish too)
for the shark to "sense" and smell the blood it still needs at least one particle of blood to enter its nose. In that sense they can smell a drop of blood thats been distrivuted among millions of gallons of water, but the blood still takes time to travel and distribute among millions of gallons of water. Thats why they said a shark wont just teleport over, because it would literally need to teleport to the area to even be able to tell there was blood nearby considering the blood was only JUST spilled.
