Great vid as always. .. Love using Samsung Health, especially the Body Composition, in conjunction with my GW6. My Fitbit Scales syncs my weight straight to Samsung Health to make it easier. Hopefully we get the Medication Tab officially in Australia soon, and also scanning of barcodes for food entry as thats also available in some parts out of Australia.
I'd really LOVE nothing more than to use Samsung Health but it's Sleep Tracking is so WILDLY inaccurate (like off by 4+ hours per night) that it makes literally everything the app says unusable.
appreciate your content... one thing not mentioned is the permissions and privacy for samsung health. they are kind of ridiculous. to sync, one needs to acknowledge that samsung will let employees have direct access to your data. further for some functions access to photos and vids is required to log food I think. any thoughts? it has stopped me from completely diving in...i dont want to go back to apple, and perhaps theyre no better behind their marketing nonsense, but samsung's requirements for health are pretty onerous.
I don't use the app because I don't want my health data to be so easily shared. I'm concerned about my privacy and phoe apps and os are nearly all notorious for breaching privacy. That said, is there a way to use the O2 sensor/Pulse monitor that is on the phone without the Health App?
I wish Samsung was more accurate. I really want them to be better than Apple but they’re just not. I wear the Apple Watch ⌚️ Ultra 2 in black and the Galaxy Watch Ultra (yes, both at the same time). The Galaxy Watch is always 500-2000 steps different than Apple. I also have the google fit app running on both and google typically is closer to Apple between 50-1- steps difference. It’s so annoying with Samsung.
@phil-n5t well, no one asked for you to believe me. I could prove it to you but what good would that do for me? You probably don't even own more than one watch or phone and since this is the Internet, you can spew whatever it is you want. I gotcha.
To be honest. Steps are not a measuring unit of distance. That I am very familiar of but I know that the actual distance calculator on my samsung watch does work well when I am on the treadmill (a bit off but that is expected from any watch).
Samsung health is so inaccurate that this is why I am with Apple. And don't get me wrong, Samsung is my preference, but Apple has really done a better job with health. Apple also offers so many more options than Samsung.
Only in your opinion. And stop with the samsung It is my preference rubbish it doesn't wash because when you make statements like that it obvious you a apple fan!
@phil-n5t Samsung had IR Blaster. A feature that I have used in a recent phone, Vivo X80 Pro. Samsung had the pulse sensors which I used very often. And lot of other features. Now, it becomes a brick with no ports or sensors.

I have the watch 6 classic. So I use it daily to monitor my sleep. Sleep is so important to your health.
The sleep tracking and blood pressure monitoring are awesome
Use it every day with my GW 6 Classic thanks for the video.
You're welcome!
Excellent vid. I had no idea about about the custom workout routines. Definitely using that, thanks!
You're welcome! Glad you found it helpful.

17:38 we should do a community step challenge!
My inactive alert stopped working some months ago. It's activated on my samsung fit 3 but I don't get prompts anymore
Interesting the mentions of Apple Fitness in the comments here. Possibly something we should chat over
Standard really lol whenever these 2 offer services that compete someone always prefers the other and loves to tell you about it 😂

The phone screen is difficult to read. Why don't you have it filling the full frame top to bottom?
So, App is not same for all users. I have s 20fe 5g. There are few changes in ui.

Отличный репортаж !
This is one of my most used apps on my device! I love how feature rich it is for free! Such a nice perk!
I totally agree with you. It's truly a standout app.
Yep i lost 50 pounds when i finally started tracking my calories it makes it so easy aince its already on the phone and on my watch
That's awesome! So glad it helped you reach your goals!
Hello sir i am a big fan of you and your content is amazing.

I don't believe a word you say because I can come up completely different results!

Cool thing is Samsung has blood pressure, Apple doesn't

That is impossible for it to be that different in steps count.
it's a joke. useless
I just provided all of the uses. Useless means there are no uses. This comment is useless though
I like Samsung as a smartwatch, but the health stats are terrible!!!
Apple is my go to for the most accurate health metrics!
Aren't both generally the same?
Pretty sure the steps are the only real difference. And neither are the best for that anyway.

@ u mad Samsung fanboy? How pathetic...
@Tha-King-Arthur 🕰 where's the key🕰
Not in my experience, Samsung health tracks my sleep perfectly
Also Samsung has blood pressure which Apple doesn't
Since they took out the pulse sensors from the phones, I couldn't care less. I hope Samsung Health gets discontinued
What's wrong with people like you?
@phil-n5t you pay more for less ports and less features each year and I am the problem? Haha.
@phil-n5t Samsung had IR Blaster. A feature that I have used in a recent phone, Vivo X80 Pro. Samsung had the pulse sensors which I used very often. And lot of other features. Now, it becomes a brick with no ports or sensors.
@deadterrorrist coco.
@phil-n5t your mother is coco
