Have you completed an oil change before on your HD? Any pointers and corrections from my video would be appreciated by me and my viewers! For some of the items used in the video: Universal Oil Filter Clamp [US] amzn.to/3KarwYJ [CAN] amzn.to/3Dr8lWQ K&N Oil Filter [US] amzn.to/473qUh6 [CAN] amzn.to/3rJE3vy
Great video! One small tip, is to let some fresh oil run through the drain hose. This will push out the remaining dirty oil, and prevent possible bubbles of air traveling up the engine.
I run conventional in my '98 Evo Dyna -- The head honcho master tech at my last HD dealership also runs conventional, even on his '21 Road Glide Special, he said it seals ( helps combat leaks ) much better than Synthetic oil It's a good thing you're aware of lubing the o-ring and priming the filter, always follow service manuals folks!! Good stuff! Going to save yourself a lot of money in the long run by doing your own oil changes!!
You missed a crucial part. You didn't burp the engine of oil. You should take the drain plug out AFTER you have changed the oil to remove any air in the system. If you don't do this, you risk catastrophic oil pump failure.

Parchment paper that bakers use works good to form a funnel or a drip chute.
