CEBU CITY SINULOG FESTIVAL 2019 - AN AUSSIE SPENDS A DAY AT THE STREET PARADE COMPETITION !

We spend the day at the Cebu Sinulog Street Parade Sa Barangay competition.
The Sinulog festival is the centre of the Santo Niño Catholic celebrations in the Philippines with 1 to 2 million visitors each year for a week of fun and festivities.
It is full of joy, music, costumes and dancing - come and join us in the amazing fun !!!

Thanks Chilled PI I really enjoyed the Parade, great job, I was in Olongapo in 1961 as I was in the Marines, there was and still are I'm sure beautiful girls galore. I'm glad I'm not the judge of all that participated, they were all just outstanding. Thanks ~USA

​@@ChilledPI thanks for uploading, the parade may not be the oldest but the sinulog prayer dance predated christianity in the philippines and was a form of worship offered to pagan icons and when spain christianized the locals the sinulog became a call and prayer dance to the Santo Niño . . .
