I feel you on the coconut oil fear. I have been trying the Buriti Bronzer for the last month and love it, with no breakouts. I am oily and insanely acne prone. I do believe that certain versions of coconut oil are benign, just like certain kinds of alcohol etc are fine for the skin as well. There is a variance in quality and molecule size with many facial products. Also, the RMS makes a darker "contour" bronzer.
Same! I use their lip+cheeks (daily! looks beautiful and it lasts for 9+ hours) and uncover concealer and I loooove it, I have extremly acne prone skin and for some reason their products do no harm. :)
The products are usually formulated with our skin in mind and yes to some people it might not work unfortunately but not every product works for everyone especially with products with ingredients like these it more like 70/30

I'm interested because I love my RMS living luminizer and I'm in the market for a creme bronzer. I don't think I'm going to buy this one because of the red in it. I love the look, but, it's a one-trick pony for me. If this was my creme bronzer I would only have the option of rocking the sunburt look. Which I like, but that's not what I'm going for most days. Also I have no input on the coconut oil concern because I'm someone who can use straight coconut oil on my face and I don't break out 🤷♀️ Really goes to show how different everyone's skin is since I know coconut oil gives others so many issues!

I was hoping for that beautiful bare skinned glass glow on no/light makeup days, but no. Very underwhelming imo, and sticky. Besides that I havent tried any of their products. Loving this series and 😍😍😍 the bangs! (Always love it when people convert to my side lol)
I love your lipstick. Could you share brand and color. I just received my bronzer. I would not have ordered it if i had seen your review. It looks a little dark for my skin, but i will give it a try and hope for a good outcome.

Haven’t tried any of their products since, cause I feel like I really don’t wanna risk it again. RMS use a lot of pseudo-scientific language, explanations in their marketing so I don’t really trust their “scientific” explanation of why their coconut oil is somehow superior 🤷♀️ Like nothing against them but I just feel like the brand isn’t for me
I also have the same issue as you with the breaking out with their cream BUT their powder products are amazing. I love the loose uncover powder and the contour palette (has 1 highlighter, 1 blush and 1 bronzer).
@ Amanda Z great review! I really like the RMS uncover up & the lip to cheek & the Master Mixer. I have never experienced break outs from the products. Im thinking RMSmeans their coconut oil is cosmetic grade, so its different than any old cooking coconut oil or whatnot. I believe the difference is in the processing. :D I think i will try the bronzer now.

I just hope this rms one works out better because I agree that the quality of the coconut oil can effect the molecule size and have no negative effects like another commenter said.
I took the coconut oil into consideration when I made my purchase with rms. I chose the lip2cheek with a plan to only use it on my lips. I seem to be ok with using coconut oil on my lips. That being said, I’ve had a few minor pimples around the perimeter of my lips. Nothing extreme. I still like the product.
I really like this bronzer, but I actually prefer their Contour Bronze it works great on light skin (as a contour)! For cream bronzer though I love the Lush Charisma skin tint! You could also review those two products I think they deserve more love! lol Great reviews! Love this week series

I don’t remember ever having any trouble with coconut oil, but still do try to stay away from it just in case. This does look lovely on you. I have very fair skin. I think fair skinned folks would look really nice in this, but it is a little dark. Something about the color though I really like- especially if you're into a blush-bronzed look!
Amanda Z I actually went ahead and picked up the Physician’s Formula Organic Wear Bronzer and really like it’s subtlety. It also blends so nicely. And, of course, it’s less expensive:))
I've been wanting to make the switch to more natural beauty products and it's disappointing to see so many using coconut oil, sodium benzoate, perfume, oxybenzone, and other problematic ingredients. To me using fancy organic x ingredient and clever advertising/packaging means nothing if your product is going to break me out or cause irritation to my skin. The owner of RMS always seems very defensive about their products despite legitimate concerns being brought up and that just rubs me the wrong way. Thank you for including information like this in your videos. Also, if you happen to feel like reviewing/comparing any natural brands I'd love to see a video on that!
Hi there! Can you please recommend some bronzers (cream or not) that is leaning to a bit rosey colour? I find that "traditional" bronzers tend to look orangey on me, so I'm looking for something that's somewhere between a bronzer and a blush maybe. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! xoxo
This bronzer broke me out so badly. I use coconut oil as makeup remover several times a week and then double-cleanse, and it's fine. But when the oil is just sitting on your skin all day in a bronzer, it's so clogging by nature. That person's explanation is bizarre, you're totally right.
I know I break out from coconut oil because of the thickness of the product itself, and the difficulties of rinsing it off the pores. The pores get clogged and is very difficult to take this product out of them. If you want more info about it, I recommend watching Susan Yara videos
The fact that this leans gray is probably a fantastic product for fair or cool toned skin. DEFINITELY ordering now. Thank you Amanda!

That's exactly what the living lumizer did to me- tiny little bumps 🙁 clogged pores. Love the way this one looks though I can definitely relate
