Highland reservoirs intimidate the hell out of me, these deep desert lakes take it to a whole other level! 😳
They’re tricky but can be very predictable at times.. this week was more tricky then the later lol
6 pound test, dry creek 3.5 tubes paired with Danielson 1/4 tube heads you’ll catch 30-60 most days

I just went and picked up a heavy GL2 from Marks house and 2 glide baits. I’ve never thrown one yet. Hey would you want to do the Colorado river float tube with me and one other guy? He’s still active duty in Air Force and loves fishing! I just taught him how to fish in the beginning of this year so he has just some basics. I’d also like to pick your brain if you’d be okay with that. Matty I got injured in 2021 and have been on work comp and don’t have $ to rent a boat and I really want to fish on a boat again so do you think if you come this way at all I can fish with you on your boat and maybe you can give me some advice on how to fish tourneys without having a boat and possibly making $ to eventually get one by fishing. I’d love to make $ doing what I love and then my wife would let me go fish more

I technically could fish my old rig on tour but I’d be limited to one working gas tank and a motor that is on its very last few hours. It wouldn’t be smart, I have plans on repowering my old boat eventually. Thanks for dropping a comment!
Did the water rise yet Cause I used to go there all the time for the Beautiful water and we would take are speed boat out there and hangout I have a lot of memories over there by the way golden nugget and the one that has a leprechaun as the logo is really good hotels that are close to the lake
They were dropping the water when we were there, not sure when they’ll bring it back up. Super rad fishery tho!
