Wow. One of my favorite episodes ever. Corey, Kalei, and Mike playing together always make for the best episodes. Love the comparison of the 5 Koaloha Tenors. Thanks!
thank you so much for these tips of how to jam with improvisation which is what I had requested in a comment in your previous upload. Love listening you guys and learning from you, thank you,
One of my favorite podcasts so far! A friend wants to learn how to play an ukulele, lives in Pacific NW but visits friend on the Big Island. This podcast is perfect for her to learn about different woods, wood combinations, models. I can only hope she doesn’t expect to play like these four guys overnight!😂 Both my ukes came from The Ukulele Site, btw, shipped to arrive in perfect condition. Thanks so much for podcasts like this one w/ these 4 who play/work so well together. I could listen to them for hours on end.
Sheer friendship and positivity oozing out of podcast, loved it. Tech talk around playing together and chord mini play along lesson so appreciated. Mika, Kalei and Corey, so so talented and we get their take on the instruments, thank you. Andrew, recording is so clear, sound is 👌, always enjoy listening through my headset as differences in instruments are fantastic, feels like I am in the room. May be one day. Have a great week.
It was so cool to hear the guys deep dive into how they achieved the “Say” arrangement! It would be so awesome to see this happen again! These guys are all so smart and play with such great feel- thank you for taking some time to give us a chance to see into the arrangement and how these insanely talented guys work.
So ticked. I was there - till Thursday. I missed hearing you guys live by 2 days. 2 days! Dang! Great to hear Mika again. Loved every second of this one. You all are the best.
...one of the best pod cast eps , I reckon! All the things you share - insane! Makes me most def prolongue my membership - and hopefully a better player! Thanks for the tips, the lessons, the inspiration, the sales advices ;- and, naturally and always: thank you for the music (especially the funky parts).
Can you guys get any better! You are all great together and it is nice to see the 3 of you again. Very nice intro. It shows how versatile a ukulele can be.
Wow haven't listen to you in a while and went to pull you up. The algorithm kept throwing at me the same six youtubers over and over had to keep refining my search until I remembered your channel name.
Amazing! Another great episode! Listening for the 2nd time now. @Andrew - which microphones do you use on the show? I was looking at a Shure SM57 for my home set-up but curios to hear what you use, they sound great. Thanks!!
What Tenor Low G strings are you using. I used Aldrine Guerrrero AG X AO Low G and it breaks on my Kamaka Long Neck Tenor. Aldrine said Aquila has a TH-cam video how to string a Ukulele. The Aquila video is WORTHLESS. HELP……. ❤❤❤
Wohoo! Always a treat to have Mika on the show! I could watch the Corey, Kalei, and Mika trio all day!

...one of the best music podcasts for ukulele players. I would like to come over and buy a tenor ukulele from you. Munich, Germany. C'ya Gyani
Great Suff!
Anybody know what song Corey plays around 21:15?

Crazy he mentioned Altoona, I'm relocating there from Pittsburgh
Enjoyed seeing you show case some of the under 500 dollar ukes but hard to be subjective followed by the koaloha's
